Trying for number 2?

Starting to actively try for number 2 after this cycle ends, anybody else starting to try for a second? Came off the pill in December & in the last week decided to go for it, but I’m nearing the end of the cycle so will be out this month for sure. It took us almost a year to fall on with our first DD who is now 21 months so not expecting it to happen quickly but 🤞 I met a lovely couple of ladies while trying for my first on here who I am still friends with and speak to now 🥰 so would be lovely to have someone to go on the journey with again!

Period due in 5 days, so took an early clear blue tonight but it's negative. Trying not to be disheartened on the first try but I hoped my sore boobs were a good sign. Looks like im out this month!

I actually don’t know what’s happening, AF never showed, took a test to rule it out more than anything and got my BFP.

took us almost a year for DD and this time around, must have happened literally straight away, and I’ve ovulated really late this month.

still in disbelief to be honest.

AF arrived for me whilst on holiday unfortunately 😔 I tried not to feel too gutted and focus on enjoying our time away.

Onto the next try 🤞🏻 Very close to giving up though…

Ahh @GoldieMam hopefully it was just a withdrawal bleed & you have a more regular cycle this month!
I'm ovulating at the moment (I think according to my tracker app) but as this is my first proper cycle off the pill too I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
I'm on holiday when ovulating next month so will likely miss next month's if not successful this month!

@ScaryGabbyGabby well ovulation was predicted on 22nd but I came on my period just before so who knows! Looks like perhaps the bleed I had at the start of the month (just a few days after mirena removal) was a withdrawal bleed and hopefully this is the start of my first proper cycle! Here we go again 😕.

@weddingdressnightmare my cycles are really irregular so I just try to hold out to test 10 days after I think I ovulated then normally do one a week after that until AF shows up xx

I always tell myself I’ll hold off from testing but then end up caving and taking a test a few days before period 🫣

I’m around 17dpo and took a preg test 3 days ago which was negative. Got no feeling of AF coming – just feeling stuck until I test again. We’re on holiday and it’s on my
mind the whole time 😩

Got my period, on the day expected so hopefully cycles are regular! I didnt really track my cycles with dd but think I will as much as I can this time without getting obsessed with it!

@Cabbie16 when we did OPK’s last time I found after doing them for about 3 months my app got accurate. you were very lucky with your first, hopefully this time it’s not so long either x

@T0r11210 sorry I’ve never temped so no use on that one! It sure if you read pp but I also have PCOS which sucks! I work shifts so sometimes we miss ovulation if we are working opposite hours .. it’s hard isn’t it knowing you have to wait a whole month for there to be chance again.

@weddingdressnightmare hey 👋 gotta say I love the name 😂 the bfn are the worst 😩 I was terrible for testing with our first and it took such a toll on me so I’m going to be really conscious of not testing early this time around to hopefully make it less mentally draining.
but going for 2 under 2, brave move 😂 be lovely them so close in age though!

@Cabbie16 Our little girl is 2 this August, she was born on the 1st so only just an August baby! Hoping to avoid heavy pregnancy in summer this time around, it wasn’t pleasant last time 🥵
where abouts are you in your cycle this now? X

CD9. Estimated ovulation Friday according to app but I'm using OPKs for the first time to see what they say. We conceived first cycle with our first (very lucky) so haven't done that before.

TTC number 2. Had a MMC in February when I should've been 12 weeks so really hoping this is the month I get a BFP. I'm 1DPO.

We’re trying for no2 as well! DD is 6 and I’m now 32. Been told I have polycystic ovaries and partner works away so hard to always get the right time. This month has been weird though as BBT hasn’t risen as much as usual (I only ever get 1 OPK surge) and 2 apps given different O day.

could anyone please help and tell me when they think I ovulated, if I have yet?

We are trying for number 2! Baby number 1 is 11 months old. We’ve been trying for 4 months and no luck yet :( the first baby took us 4 months to conceive after a miscarriage. Really hoping we conceive soon. It’s such a horrible feeling getting that BFN or period arriving

@JJHN22 it can be anywhere from 28 days to 60 days but luckily since coming off the pill they’ve all been around 28 - 35 days apart from one which was a bit longer x

Im just waiting for AF now then we can start properly, but my cycles aren’t always regular so could be while yet if we’re having a long month!

Thank you! I caved yesterday and had a bfn but I expected it really! 🫣 I didn’t test positive around until 20dpo with my daughter and around 18dpo with the miscarried pregnancy. We go on holiday tomorrow so having to take tests with me.

Wishing you all the luck once AF has been. Irregular cycles make things so difficult, I’m sorry! What’s your cycle range? Mine’s between 40-58 days recently 😣
