I did a test today at 8DPO and I could see a shadow there straight away and it’s dried as a line. I’m so so scared it’s a evap and I will be crushed.

Hello everyone! Hope we all get what we dream of this summer. Good luck on the next cycle to the ones who had AF and fingers crossed to the ones who are still in the TWW. I have very good feelings about this summer for us all 🌞🧚🤰

I don't know what's going on had a spike this morning does this mean I'm about to ovulate? Bleeding stopped as quick as it started last night

Could be! Mine was half way there on day 8 and I got a peak on day 9. My BFP came 9 days later. Keep testing and BD if you can just in case!

5 hours of uninterrupted sleep? What's that lol. My 4 year old hasn't let me sleep since he was a born. Does this effect my bbt accuracy? I recorded bbt and had only been back to sleep about an hour before he'd woken me up last?

Minimum 3 hours. Here is what I found online: As a reminder, movement (sitting up/getting out of bed), interrupted sleep, drinking water, and being awake before measuring will affect your temperature. You need to measure while lying down and as soon as you wake up; otherwise, the temperature will be affected by not measuring right away.

In your case, you can buy an apple watch to get your wrist temperature. You need 5 nights of sleep to get the baseline. The deviation will tell you if your BBT is increasing or not.

I am glad to hear it! Yes, I take BBT before I get out of the bed. Make sure you have at least 5+ hours of uninterrupted sleep ensure the accuracy.

Thanks @LucyCL that's so helpful! I've downloaded the premom app and started OPK testing yesterday. I'm going to order a thermometer too for BBT. Do you just take your temperature very first thing?

Ovulation before CD10 is possible but really really early. According to my experience it could just be a LH surge. Keep testing and BD, just in case.

I was really heavy the first 2 days which is so unlike me. Just figured that was because I was almost 2 weeks late but then much lighter day 3 only barely spotting day 4 nothing day 5 and nothing again today until now went to the loo before bed. I've only got 1 bbt recording as I only started properly today. So unsure it was 37.1 this morning but no idea how that is for me.

Guess I'll just wait to stop bleeding then go back to ovulation tests to see where I am at

I see. Yes, you are still having your period. However keep measuring BBT during the period because this is your baseline BBT which will come in handy.

I'm so confused just gone to the loo and I'm bleeding again... Cd6 stopped bleeding CD 3 just spotting for CD 4 barely anything and then like a whole fresh AF now do I go back to CD1?

It does look like AF is still here. That happened to me when I started to bleed after CP. I know it is different from a normal period... I bled heavily for 3 days then nothing for 1 day and started spotting again for 3 days. Does your BBT drop again?

RRAEE · 11/06/2024 22:05

@Irish812 same i hope so too. Im in the TWW but feel like AF is going to show early.
I came of the pill last may. So it's been well over a year now. I think the only thing we havent tried is the lube, the cup thing isnt for me. But hoping the BFPs come soon 🤞🏻

Has anyone here had a baby previously and took 6+ months to conceive? TTC first baby (age 28) and period is regular and ovulation is confirmed with bbt and opks. so I've no signs of concern apart from the obvious. Just need some reassurance that it can take time. I've had a 21 day blood test done too on cycle #4 that confirmed ovulation. I'm just very impatient.

I am 34 and started ttc last October for baby No.1. I was not tracking my ovulation seriously until this Jan. No success for the first 4 months.

So I started tracking properly from the end of Jan, got pregnant this Feb then MC this March. Waited for the period then tried ttc in April and got pregnant at the beginning of May followed by CP.
Here I am starting a new cycle in June, hoping to conceive in July. Will be 35 this Nov.
I am taking proceive vitamins, Vital DHA, vitamin E, Black Maca complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, Femceive, Psyllium Husk Capsules , N-Acetyl Cysteine and vitamin D oral spray. I also use conceive+ lube.

GlitteringCat · 11/06/2024 21:58

First month TTC on CD18 and in the 2 week wait. Know it’s pretty unlikely to have happened in month 1 but definitely get ‘what if’ thoughts. I’ve had weight loss surgery and lost 12 stone to help my fertility so it’s already feeling like a long journey just to get here.

Irish812 · 11/06/2024 21:41

@LeleMR thanks for the reply! Good to hear as most of my friends took maximum 4 months so I'm finding it hard, now cd1 of 6th month.
@RRAEE I recognise you from previous threads, we're in the same boat! Hopefully the odds were just against us and we'll conceive in the VERY near future. I'm off the pill since Sept but only actively ttc 6 months. Myself and hubby both taking pregnacare conception vitamins, using conceive+ lube and used the ferti lily cup last 2 cycles. Not sure what else we can try!

RRAEE · 11/06/2024 21:31

@Irish812 I'm 31 TTC no 1 im on cycle 6 or 7 of trying properly but haven't prevented in a year and took vitamins tried to be as healthy as possible and im yet to have any signs of a bfp

LeleMR · 11/06/2024 21:25

@Irish812 I just spoke to a colleague of mine today at work about this and he said it took him&his wife (33 at the time) 6 months for their first. Friends of mine took almost a year for their first, others 3 months, so I think it really is subjective :)

Im in cycle 2 CD 6. Ive started doing bbt in the morning. So was told to do before getting out of bed. Is that right the first 2 days I took my temp in the bathroom when I got up should I discard those 2 temps? Thanks

That is correct, you should discard those 2 temps.

@LucyCL @Irish812 sucks that we’ve all got AF but at least we’re in this together and hopefully similar cycles!

Nice to have had a 30 day cycle and not a 40+ 🙌🏼

A 30 day cycle is a good cycle!! Baby dust everywhere in June and July!

Holls1983 · 11/06/2024 20:09

Can I join please?

im on cycle 6 TTC baby number 2.

Im currently 7DPO and niggling pains and my boobs are sooooooo sore but I’ve seen so many negative tests now that I won’t believe it. AF is due next week Monday/Tuesday.

congratulations to all with BFP already this month 🤍

ScarlettSloth · 11/06/2024 18:27

I’m joining the cycle buddies train too. Have some v light pink discharge today which is unusual and AF is due on Thursday so I think that means I’m out for June…
