TTC June 2024 ✨♥️

Hi, I'm new to TTC. Came off of contraception 3rd May, no luck that cycle, which I was expecting not yet having a natural period.
Cycle day 6 today though! I'm so clueless to it all really and Google is driving me mad so wanted to looking to connect with people on here x

@LeleMR oh good to know! I’ve been dubious to try these kinda things after I tried conceive plus and they completely wrecked my cycle, think I ended up with like a 60 day cycle.
I might try one of those you’ve mentioned next if these aren’t any good.
I got them for general health too, supposedly help with PCO too so even if it doesn’t help conceive then hopefully it will help in other ways 😊

I am in my TWW currently, 3 dpo I think for me so a while to go still before testing makes sense but probably won't be able to help myself 😅

@Marie1990x I am intrigued, I have not tried MyOva. I have been taking vitabiotics pregnacare conception but now that I have run out I am using the pregnancy max ones I started last month and stopped again after the CP. Seem to agree with me overall, no side effects so far. Aside from taking them to improve chances to conceive, I think they have been improving my nail, skin and hair health haha. I cannot remember a time my nails were this strong.

Each pregnancy is different, this is really true. Keep testing unless your AF is here! Baby dust to you!

Yes yes, I already ordered First response and Clearblue Pregnancy Test Ultra Early Triple-Check & Date Combo Pack from amazon! This shadow has made me look forward to tomorrow morning! I shall not drink lots of liquid tonight! I hope you will get a darker line too!

Hum, I really hope so. For my last 2 pregnancies, I started to see the shadow on 10 dpo. This time would be 1 day earlier if I get a BFP! 😆

I have been feeling quite calm until this morning. When I saw the shadow, I became really excited. After watching The Great Sperm Race from Channel 4, I agree with what you said "where there is any sperm there is always a chance!"

I’ve just ordered some MyOva supplements for next cycle, has anyone used these before?

So lovely seeing some BFPs coming through!

I'm 10DPO today and got a very stark BFN on FRER, was feeling positive this month but not holding out hope now. I had a pretty strong BFP with my first at 11dpo... I know each pregnancy is different but hard not to compare. Feeling a little deflated 😒

@LucyCL I edited the photo slightly (think the exposure of contrast) so the line would show more clearly so it may just be that. Will you test again tomorrow? Fingers crossed for both of us!

Does anyone have any advice on booking in a smear while TTC?

Will it affect conception if I have it done after ovulation?

Struggling to book a date as my period is irregular and I know they can't do it while on period 😭

cd10 for me and a BFN. Been feeling a bit weird all week but it’s probably just general TWW stuff. Not sure why I allow myself to get my hopes up anyway, especially as we suspect DH has a low sperm count due to an operate when he was a kid. But I guess… where there is any sperm there is always a chance!

So back on CD1 my husband doesn't want to plan and just wants us to carry on DTD as usual as and when we fancy rather than feeling we have to on specific days. He isn't keen on 'wasting money' on ovulation packs etc says it's not needed and it will happen when it happens. But I think for my mental well-being I need that (so I don't go through 12 pregnancy tests each month 😂) also because I've waited 4 years for him to agree to baby 3 I'm probably not as patient as he is. Tbh I think the ovulation tests I just purchased will save money on testing before ovulation etc. also going to start doing bbt. Downloaded a new app to log it as mine didn't have charts for bbt.
What day does everyone start doing the ovulation tests? First day after AF stops? Thanks :)

@KittyFantastica Thank you for sharing you experience and trust me I do want to believe it is a faint positive however I just suffered from a CP so I am going to wait and see if there is line progression

@LucyCL the easy at home strips are a lot more sensitive that the clear blues. I had strong positives on them before days before either the CB digital or early response has lines!

What do people think of this, 10dpo

BBT is basal body temperature.
BBT fluctuates and starts to rise when you are about to ovulate then drops a bit after ovulation. Then BBT goes back up and remains high then drops when AF is due. Or BBT will remain high if you are pregnant.

I don't think that's an evap line looks like an early positive to me. I still don't understand the whole bbt though x

9 dpo. LH level has been increasing also.
BBT has dropped and it might be caused by me breathing heavily because I am having a cold.
I have never see evaporation lines before. So is it an evaporation line?

AF finally arrived in full force. Woke up at 3am to go to the toilet no signs of AF and then my son woke me at 5 climbing into my bed and I was wtf I've wet the bed nope just bled everywhere. So no idea what my body is playing at I am never heavy but at least we can start a new cycle now. Back to CD1. 😫
