@LucyCL @Irish812 sucks that we’ve all got AF but at least we’re in this together and hopefully similar cycles!

Nice to have had a 30 day cycle and not a 40+ 🙌🏼

Might be about to join you in a couple of days 😂 will keep you updated… no signal where I am atm!

hope everyone is doing good❤️❤️❤️

@Marie1990x @LucyCL another cycle buddy here AF arrived today on time as always! Onto cycle #6 now. Thanks for podcast recommendation, will give it a listen.

AF has just arrived, back to CD1!
In a way I’m glad she’s turned up too soon and had a normal length cycle, hoping it continues!

Also (just put this on another thread too so apologies for duplicating), I’m listening to a podcast and it’s sooo interesting, definitely recommend x

Sorry to hear AF arrived! However that means we could be cycle buddies!! Exciting new cycle is waiting for us! Good luck to you!
Will listen to the podcast! x

Hi all, for anyone that’s had an early MC (I was about 6/7 weeks I think) did you treat the first day of bleeding as CD1?

I’ve been using ovulation strips this month and logging on pre mom and the app has identified my peak (I’m sure it’s not though, the test strip wasn’t darker than Control Strip). Not sure whether to just write this month off and wait for next period.

Feeling a bit deflated, read a few positive stories about people getting pregnant within two or three weeks of a MC and really hoped that would be me. MC was on 27th May so still early days I guess.

Glad to see so many BFPs!!! Congratulations to you all

Heya. I had a MMC at 9 weeks on 15th April, I wanted to try and conceive straight away but ended up having one cycle between then and my next period, I have just found out I’m pregnant again. I found that testing was really hard during that cycle because whenever I tested it was showing peak and I think it was because of the HCG left in my system. I know it’s tempting to try straight away but maybe give it one cycle and then start again from the day of your first period

Thank you @LucyCL that’s really reassuring to hear. And sorry to hear about your CP too.

Will carry on cracking on with the strips for the rest of this cycle - to be honest I find it mildly addictive testing for ovulation!

Yes, I was desperate to know when I was going to ovulate so I bought a lot of things which could help me to predict such as CB fertility monitor, Mira etc... So I totally understand how you are feeling. 😅

I am sorry for your loss! I had a CP last month and I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 and my LH level kept fluctuating a lot. Finally on CD22, I ovulated. Today is CD2 of the second cycle after CP. I do believe you will ovulate late and please keep testing! Also I hope your cycle returns back to normal soon!

Sorry to hear about your difficult journey. The ovulation test strips are tricky sometimes. Do you keep an eye on your cm? That helps me when the strips are confusing. Fingers crossed for you this month 🤞

Thank you. I do keep an eye on my CM and had been thinking for a couple of days that it was indicating ovulation approaching. I tested three times today and finally got a peak on my test trips, very happy that they finally correspond with the CB digital. Hoping I can see a decrease tomorrow in the test so that I know the peak is over and that I am entering the TWW.

Irish812 · 10/06/2024 19:49

@CoolSummer89 thanks for the reply! Yes my cycles are regular usually 25 or 26 days so I ovulate on cycle day 13 or 14 and always have 12 day luteal phase. I just thought it would have happened for us by now. Is this your first baby ttc? Xx

GreenPickle · 10/06/2024 17:00

have you tested recently?

Will take a look at myova- is it just for people with PCOS?

when is AF due? Might be worth holding off and testing on Friday!

I’ve just tested now and bfn. AF is due Wednesday according to the apps (if I ovulated when I had the peak). We’ll see anyway. I’m surprisingly alright, think I’ve just got used to bfn’s now 😂.

They do a few different MyOva supplements, I did the little quiz on their website to see which is best for me then ordered it on Amazon.

How are you feeling?

UnicornBorn23 · 10/06/2024 19:06

@GreenPickle I'm 8 days late so around 24 DPO. I have ordered a digital test which I'll take on Wednesday if no AF in meantime! Been TTC for 4 years now and currently undergoing fertility testing to see if I need help! :)

GreenPickle · 10/06/2024 18:37

UnicornBorn23 · 10/06/2024 17:00

Hi everyone!

Just after a bit of advice :)

I'm currently 8 days late and I've been taking easy @ home tests since the expected day of my period. I've had a mild cramps but nothing else and still no period or BFP. I took a different cheap test today and it came up negative after 5 mins and I left it to one side & happened to look again around 30 mins later and it shows another line?? The line has colour and no need to squint to see. Is this valid? I have ordered a CB digital to arrive tomorrow to double check but just want to hear other peoples experiences??

Thank you!

Last cycle I got a BFP (ended in a chemical but not sure it’s relevant here!)

10dpo I took a test in the morning… didn’t see anything and hours later (maybe like 6-8).. came home and saw a FAAAAAINT line. Took another test at about 4.30 and got a faint line within the timeframe. All my negatives have never shown a line after whatsoever so I’m inclined to think it’s positive even though it’s against the law of pregnancy tests 😂

BUT I took that test as a negative to protect myself until I saw it on a digital

be mindful that the weeks indicator CB is around 25miu (I believe) whilst the ultra early digital is 10miu (this is the one I used last cycle at 12dpo and got a positive!)

that’s just my experience! Hope it goes your way.

what dpo are you?

GreenPickle · 10/06/2024 17:00

Marie1990x · 10/06/2024 16:48

I’m 11/12dpo (I think). It’s definitely not my month for sure. Just want AF to come now.

I’ve gone for MyOva. Was comparing a few and they have really good reviews. Even if they don’t help conceive I’m hoping they help just for overall health and try get my cycles back on track 🤞🏻.

Ahhh bless you it’s such a kick in the teeth seeing it in words isn’t it. But you never know!!! Keep us updated obviously 😊

@Marie1990x what DPO are you? My only symptoms last month were PMS ones so was a surprise to see a BFP (even if it didn’t last!). Sore boobs, cramps etc so you’re not out yet!

what supplements are you taking?

all just digitals! The CB one is 10miu so it’s quite sensitive. I didn’t get on with the FRER ones last month so don’t think I’ll invest in those! I will probably hold off testing anyway just because ignorance is bliss at this point

@GreenPickle ah congratulations to you two! Wishing you both all the best for the future

@LucyCL Sorry to hear AF came, but good that you'll be able to get a proper cycle of tracking under your belt. AF came for me today as well, and my next fertile window starts end of next week. Will you be staying in the June thread or are you planning to move to next one?

@Irish812 ah I'm so sorry, I am in the same boat but older then you (35). Are your cycles regular? Harder to know what is happening with men without getting them tested, and I know it's frustrating to wait the 12 months to go on NHS. My DH had an undescended testicle as a child, so his GP has fast-tracked him for semen analysis. That was over a month ago but they just referred him to the wrong clinic so he has to start all over from the beginning again! 🙄

Sometimes it is just luck of the draw each month, as it's only ever a 1 in 4 chance. As well as the supplements, try and find some time to do things that help you unwind. Maybe some self-massage or meditation. The stress hormone (cortisol) seems to mess up sex hormones.

Sorry to hear about the arrival of your AF! I think I might still stay within this group and June is only 1/3 finished.
I used to ovulate on CD15 then both MCs delayed my ovulation dates.
For the second cycle after my 1st MC, I ovulated on CD17. This new cycle is also the second cycle of a MC (CP) so I predict that I might ovulate around CD17 -19 which will be 26/6/24 - 28/6/24, technically still within this month if I am right. But I will also join the next month's group. 😄
Good luck to you for this new cycle! May it be the start of something special!

Hi all, BFN 12dpo today and AF is due tomorrow and I've all the symptoms. Feeling deflated. Will be onto month 6 ttc first baby. Never seen two lines on a test yet. Taking so many supplements over the past few months: pregnacare conception him&her, omega3, magnesium, and tried CoQ10 this cycle. Using conceive+ lube during fertile week and used ferti lily conception cup last 2 cycles. Any other tips???? So ready to be pregnant. I'm 28 and hubby 29. Off the pill since Sept 2023, but only properly actively ttc 6 cycles.

It was so great! The weather was really on our side. I am glad to be on the other side of it though! Thank you 🥰 keep putting it off but I’ll see how I feel in the morning!

@GreenPickle Congratulations😊hope you had a lovely day! I stopped drinking in March/April and the husband joined me about 3 weeks ago. We said we would give a few cycles without any drink a go, to see whether it makes us more lucky. We will see!

@Marie1990x @LucyCL I tested this morning and also a BFN. Still in my TWW (7dpo) but couldn't help but test early, probably shouldn't have. Feeling a bit deflated, had some twinges a couple of days ago but now in hindsight that could have just been a coincidence. The only symptoms I remember having last time this early on was back pain on one side about 7 dpo, which I don't seem to have this time so I am mentally preparing for AF.

TWW last time felt much easier and faster for me. Maybe I need to let go of control but that is easier said than done 🙈

Let me know how you get on! I’m not a massive drinker anyway. Maybe a cocktail once every few months but the other half is! I imagine we’ll both be on a health kick after stuffing our faces since the wedding and beyond… big fat good luck to you ✨
