Ttc may 2024

Hello, just dropping in…no idea what is going on this month. I usually ovulate around cd15/16 but last month it was later (had a mc in Feb so put it down to that). I usually go by EWCM and I thought I’d seen it around cd 14 and cd 18. DH was away so we dtd on cd 11, 12, 14 and 18.

I’m hoping I did ovulate around cd 14 as dtd would have been well timed, and even if it was cd 15/16 I guess we are in with a shot? So annoying we had that 3 day gap! Today is cd 28 with AF due tomorrow, though last cycle when I ovulated late AF also came late. I don’t have any tests in the house so will see how things go over the weekend and test on Monday if AF isn’t here. Good luck everyone!

I'm assuming I'm out too. 11dpo and I've started spotting 🤔 although no sign of it getting heavier 🤔 but still testing negative 👀

I don't use OPKs but I can usually tell when I'm ovulating with EWCM (thank you @emmatcc1 for the dictionary!). I think I might have ovulated early this month - or maybe I've not ovulated at all. I'm definitely not following my usual pattern.

Either way I have made the decision not to have any test kits in the house for the whole TWW. It's just too stressful and disappointing!

Hello lovely group! Hope you don't mind if I join. I also started ttc in May. Congrats on all BFPs out there and sorry for BFNs and approaching AFs. I think I am out this month, only dtd twice in the fertile window but I haven't yet tracked ovulation with tests, just looking at the calendar, CM and signs that are usual for me. Getting only BFNs at 12DPO and signs of imminent AF are here. VERY anxious because I am starting trying for my first one being in early 40s and DP is also in his 40s. But my periods are regular, all the hormonal tests I have done over the last couple of years were good so still hopeful! Sometimes life just goes like this!

@emmatcc1 thank you! That’s amazing won’t get too confused now! I am tracking I’ve got 2 tracking apps and using the clear blue ovulation tests

@Currentlykittymom Welcome!! Are you tracking ovulation or just guessing? My first mistake was not tracking and we completely missed ovulation.

Hi hope it’s okay to join, it’s just been my first TTC month and period hit today feeling pretty low. I know it’s unlikely first try but you’re always optimistic. Still a bit hit and miss on the acronyms if someone could do a break down for me 🫣 also I am 28f and this will be first hopeful pregnancy!

@CSmith1 that happens to me too 😂 I have dreams of testing then I’ll wake up in the middle of the night to do one. I also over analyse every twinge I get, I tell myself every month not to get excited but I can’t help but hold on to the hope 🤞. Fingers crossed we all get our BFPs very soon 🤍

Hi folks! So glad I've found this thread. I'm currently on my 2nd cycle of clomid, currently 6dpo so every twinge I feel my mind goes into overdrive and I think is implementation cramps!! Likely not as I had the exact same last month and didn't conceive.
I know it's a bit early but will start testing at 8dpo. Does anyone else struggle with sleep when it's test day? I wake up sooo early with excitement/nerves.

10DPO you are so close, fingers crossed for you. The past few months I’ve tested early and spent so much on tests, I’m determined to wait until after AF is due this month.. I need to work on my will power! I am only 5DPO so I feel like I have a longgg wait ahead of me.

I'm 10dpo and testing negative so I'm pretty sure I'm out. Going to stop testing now and wait for AF. Feeling sad 😣 how's everyone?

Hi Guys, I would love to join you all while I am in my TWW. So lovely to see a BFP already in this forum, congratulations!

I am 33, trying for my first baby. We have been TTC for about a year now, we have had a few tests at the doctors and all looking fine so I guess its a matter of time, they are going to look at a few other tests they can do just to be sure all is OK.

I wanted to ask.. Do you think focusing on DTD everyday in the fertile week is enough or should we be DTD through out the whole month?

I travelled to the US recently and bought Mucinex so giving that a go this month, I see lots about it on TikTok! x

@T0r11210 I would say you ovulated cd14 judging from the big dip.

Ah thank you, I’d copied it over from FF and hadn’t recorded that one correctly. Now all sorted but still showing CD 16 on FF (dotted crosshair) and CD 14 on Femometer. Which day would you say I ovulated on? If at all?

Hi all, I got a smart watch recently and though we're not technically tracking this month, I thought I'd try temping to get my head around it and see if I actually ovulate this month. My cycle was really thrown off by the D&C.

Is it me, or does my temperature generally look really low? I've seen other people's charts be mostly in the 36 degree range. I don't have any thyroid issues or anything. I don't think I've ovulated yet, I've had no signs. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next 2-4 days.

Not sure what’s going on, my LH is consistently higher than usual and so is my bbt. Opks are always below 0.15 when not ovulating and bbt is at 36.3. Cervix is closed and lots of watery cm.
