I have searched and can’t find a thread for anyone who’s Ttc this month!
I’ll be onto month 4 since I had a mmc of trying to conceive! I won’t lie when AF showed yesterday I had a full blown meltdown about it and felt like I would never get pregnant when in reality 3 months really isn’t that long!
I am very lucky to already have 2 wonderful little boys age 7 &3 but really would like a 3rd to make out family complete!

@TicklishDreamer ooh yes just saw you will be too! What dpo is that for you?

In my MMC cycle I had a nice strong positive on day 14 so tempted to wait til then. HOWEVER my (loose 😂) rationale is that if I am pregnant this cycle too, dating might be more accurate if I’m able to give them the date of an earlier first positive…

TicklishDreamer · 19/05/2024 18:30

@JumpinJellyfish my first cycle after was 31 days from miscarriage starting to next period, but since then it’s been 25 days but pre miscarriage was always 26 days without fail so figure we will wait till Tuesday! I have also been extremely grumpy too and just have all signs of AF!

@purplecolouroffunk oooo so you’ll be testing Tuesday too!

Hope it’s okay to join in! Hope you’re all okay.

I’m 10dpo and having to sit on my hands not to test 😂 Trying to hold until at least 12dpo to get something a bit more definitive.

First TWW since a MMC in April. We were going to wait until after my first period but mistimed ovulation and ended up DTD right in the middle of my fertile days 😬

Had sore huge boobs before my MC and stuffy nose for weeks. Absolutely no symptoms this cycle so I don’t have my hopes up 😔

JumpinJellyfish · 19/05/2024 18:14

I haven’t tested either…this is CD29 and cycles are usually 28-29 days, but have been a bit weird since mc - my first AF post Mc (March) came 28 days later, but then last cycle (April) it was 31 and I had ovulated late. This time I don’t know when I ovulated. I don’t feel pregnant at all though and have been really moody with DH and the kids so suspect AF will show up tomorrow!

If it doesn’t I will also test on Tuesday @TicklishDreamer!

TicklishDreamer · 19/05/2024 18:01

@Bb542 no I’m thinking Tuesday if I’ve still no AF! My cycle is usually 25/26 days and today is day 26 so will see what tomorrow brings but I have exact same symptoms of AF coming so I’m convinced AF on her way.

@Bb542 its good that it’s first normal one post miscarriage!

not shown up yet, I’ve been getting period pains all day on and off which is normal for me so I expect her to arrive tomorrow at latest!

Have you tested yet? 😱

I'm on CD3 today. This period feels like my first normal period since my miscarriage. Hoping the next 2-3 weeks go quickly. Have ordered easy @ home ovulation tests again. I'm in Ireland and since Christmas we haven't been able to order them anymore, so had to order from Amazon Germany. But much prefer these to the ones I used last cycle.

@TicklishDreamer has AF arrived? Hopefully you're not out 🤞🏼

TicklishDreamer · 19/05/2024 06:32

@JumpinJellyfish yes I am I thought I recognised your name! I haven’t tested but I’m 99.9% AF will arrive tomorrow if not today! Hopefully she doesn’t arrive for you!! It’s so stressful the whole thing and I know will just get worse when I get that positive test!

I'm 4dpo and it feels like it's dragging in. I've had some tummy cramps today but I know it's still too early for implantation so no idea if it's just normal, I don't usually get cramps so early though.

How is everyone that isn’t out yet? I’m due AF tomorrow or Monday so impatiently waiting for it now

@TicklishDreamer I think we were both on the April TTC thread too, both ttc dc3 after a mc earlier this year?!

And I think we are cycle twins this month as well as I’m expecting AF tomorrow or Monday.

Last cycle I had loads of cramps throughout tww but this time absolutely nothing, so no idea what to think. I haven’t bothered testing yet as I’m not sure when I ovulated so I don’t want to get a bfn but then be holding out hope that it was maybe just too early…so will give it a few more days. Best of luck to all!

Marshmallow99 · 18/05/2024 19:44

@TicklishDreamer absolutely! So AF is due 26th May but I’m going to a Girls Aloud concert on the 24th so wondering whether to test then as it will determine if I have 🥂or not 😅

TicklishDreamer · 18/05/2024 19:37

@Marshmallow99 that’s it it’s such a stressful time we have to try and see bright side and positives of it doesn’t happen , a spring baby would be lovely! Ive one in December and one in April so feb would be nice!

when Re you testing?

OP posts:
Marshmallow99 · 18/05/2024 19:32

@TicklishDreamer I’ve read that people feel like their period is coming before a BFP 🤞but I love the positivity if AF does arrive.. a lovely Spring baby 🌸

TicklishDreamer · 18/05/2024 17:24

@Marshmallow99 ive all signs af will show to be honest, I have usual cramps day before so think she will be here by morning 🙄 I’m looking at it positive baby would have been end of January but my body doesn’t like to hold onto babies full term I tend to go into labour around 35 weeks so this way I don’t risk that December baby (I already have one born 2 weeks before Christmas)

Marshmallow99 · 18/05/2024 17:20

@TicklishDreamer phew! I never know if I’m making it harder for myself by enjoying a few drinks at the weekend but that’s made me feel a lot better 🤍

how are you doing, feeling positive this month? X

TicklishDreamer · 18/05/2024 17:17

@Marshmallow99 dont feel guilty! My first was a bit of a whoops baby, the weekend before I found out I was pregnant with him I must have been the drunkest I’d ever been in my life and he is absolutely fine!

OP posts:
Marshmallow99 · 18/05/2024 17:09

@TicklishDreamer fingers crossed your AF doesn’t arrive! I’m about 6/7DPO now, no symptoms whatsoever, I guess it’s still early.

I had a few Proseccos last night, I always feel so guilty after. I wonder if I should not drink during the TWW just incase.. but it’s hard after a long week of work, I like to treat myself 🥂

A very familiar situation @Jessb2021a !
Maybe try what he suggests for a couple of months, that will ease pressure on him and who knows, maybe he will then ease into it and be trying to make it happen during your fertile windows. Luckily it is not that short, so try to let dtd happen "naturally" around then. Then gently go back into scheduling after a couple of months?

Jessb2021a · 18/05/2024 07:57

Hi everyone, advice please!

Fairly sure I'm out again this month :(

Last month (April) was our first month TTC. I didn't want to stress my DH out so I didn't tell him the exact ovulation timing. We ended not DTD because he was away and then home but jet lagged. He asked me to tell him next time so he could mentally prepare!

So this month. I tell him the rough dates and he puts them in his diary. We've missed the window again because he got overly anxious and had performance issues.

So he's asked if we can just let things naturally happen and not worry about it. Problems with his strategy are: I'm turning 39 in June, we have a toddler so its hard to be spontaneous, he works away from home 2-4 days at a time (different times) across a month. Usually one trip a week.

Any suggestions for ways we could plan but not stress him out?!

TicklishDreamer · 17/05/2024 18:19

I think it’s best way to look at it feb would work well for us too

soymilknosugar · 17/05/2024 18:05

I feel the same @Bb542 @TicklishDreamer. onto a feb birthday for us🤞

Bb542 · 17/05/2024 18:03

TicklishDreamer · 17/05/2024 17:38

@soymilknosugar sorry your out too! Hopefully it’s next month for those of us that’s out! I’m just waiting for period to arrive Monday/tuesday!

im trying to stay positive, baby woukd have been end of January had I been pregnant this month and both my other DS came premature so would have put me at risk for another December baby (my eldest is a December baby! so trying to think positively about it least I won’t have another Christmas baby!

Im trying to stay positive too and an end of Jan birthday wouldn't have been ideal for us either... end of Feb works a little bit better (the only thing helping with how gutted i feel) 🙈

Bb542 · 17/05/2024 18:01

AF has arrived early so onto the next cycle for me 😫
