Anyone else currently in TWW? I’m 4dpo and anxiously waiting until I can test.

I am currently trying to conceive my 3rd baby. I have 2 girls who are 6 and 8. And I’m desperately hoping they to see a positive test
My periods have been very irregular for the past year or so. But got a positive ovulation test on Sunday morning and have done BD with hubby last Wed, Saturday night and Monday night.
🤞🤞

Im also anxious because as ridiculous as it sounds I’ve had 2 online readings from 2 different psychics last month, one said I would conceive in November and give birth in August and one said September and December would be important months. Now I can’t get it out of my head that I won’t convince until the end of the year (if that even happens) 🙈🙈

I had no problems conceiving my first two girls 6 and 8 years ago, happen on first try both times so I am desperately hoping it will be the same this time. I am 30 now so still young.

sorry for the long read! X

I genuinely don’t feel any different at all, which of course is making me extremely anxious because of my recurrent miscarriages. But I just did another test and the line is clearer, so definitely pregnant, for now anyway. Fingers crossed it sticks.

Huge luck to you @AG1993 , and everyone waiting to test. ❤️

Congrats - sorry i replied before i read further down the chain!!! Good to see a positive!! Hope its a sticky one.

What were your symptoms?

Optimistic66 · 18/04/2024 10:14

10dpo - tested yesterday and nothing BFN - so going trying to protect my heart and not test now until Monday now. I'm due saturday or Monday (12dpo or 14dpo) so lets see.

My boobs are hurting but dont really know if its just all the poking but nothing else really other than that.

@Elisabeth3468 - completely get this sentiment - 8DPO is still so early and i feel like the earliest i see positive are 9DPO.

@AG1993 / @deliwoman1 - ahh thats so frustrating for you both - Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more obvious and give you a clearer positive. Your HCG doubles daily so even if you had anegative blood test yday - could just be too low.

Elisabeth3468 · 18/04/2024 10:03

@deliwoman1 this is amazing update. How exciting ! Maybe it's a lucky thread.
No sore boobs or anything ?

I see @deliwoman1. Since they’ve all been different and you are a little older it does sound like it’s just been rotten bad luck, but that’s great because every chance this one will work out!

deliwoman1 · 18/04/2024 09:16

@JumpinJellyfish I take 400mg of progesterone once daily in a suppository, but that’s once I’ve got a bfp. It’s one reason I test early. Other than that I haven’t been offered anything, but I’ve never gone private. I guess nhs blood tests for clotting disorders came back normal, and at least at the time I didn’t have a thyroid issue. The last MC I had was anovulatory, and that’s a chance thing to do with a crap egg, I think. It’s very hard to accept but it may have all just been very bad luck in my case, and age-related because I was 38 at the time of trying for my first, and now I’m 41. One of my MCs was an ectopic, which is also a chance thing so they said. 😕

JumpinJellyfish · 18/04/2024 09:08

Congrats @deliwoman1 !!

Sorry if I’ve missed it but are you on treatment for the mcs? Fingers crossed for you this time.

Congrats!!! Gives me hope for being a greedy little pig the past couple of days! Big fat hugs for you ❤️❤️❤️

AG1993 · 18/04/2024 07:56

@deliwoman1 the only symptoms I have is sore boobs and I have been feeling really rundown that last couple of days but that is not necessarily pregnancy related x

deliwoman1 · 18/04/2024 07:52

Also, if I am pregnant, my only symptom was greediness yesterday. I’m not sure that counts but I was bloody ravenous all day. Ate literally double what I normally would, and I have to say it was mostly crap. 😬 Nothing out the ordinary this morning though!

deliwoman1 · 18/04/2024 07:49

@AG1993 I admire that! I’ve got a load of the cheapo ones so the temptation is too strong! I do have an early digital so will do that at the weekend if I get another faint line.

GreenPickle · 18/04/2024 07:49

Elisabeth3468 · 18/04/2024 07:21

How is everyone today? 8dpo and absolutely no symptoms. I feel extreme tiredness but I always do when I'm around this stage in my cycle. Yesterday I had some sharp shooting pains going up (like lightening crotch) but I've had this in normal cycles so pretty sure I'm not pregnant. 😫 honestly don't think I can bare another negative test. Especially what a difficult month it's been with pregnancy announcements.

Exactly same as you - 8dpo and no symptoms. Not really sure when AF is due as Flo just automatically made it 2 weeks after O day which is 3 days longer than my typical cycle. Did take a test this AM and was negative which I was expecting! Will use FRER tomorrow but without knowing when my period is, I'm sort of just waiting! But will keep doing cheap tests until then. Fingers crossed for you!

AG1993 · 18/04/2024 07:46

@deliwoman1 I have decided this month I am not going to over test, I went through loads last time and its so expensive so I am trying to show some restraint haha x

deliwoman1 · 18/04/2024 07:44

@AG1993 Same! But I’m too chicken to do another one. I wish I hadn’t flushed my FMU straight away 😕

deliwoman1 · 18/04/2024 07:31

@Elisabeth3468 8dpo is so early, and I’ve been pregnant and totally symptomless for weeks before now! You can’t count yourself out yet but I know it’s hard not to be pessimistic after a struggle.

I have got a vv faint line this morning, but I think it could be an evap. What do you think ladies? My toddler distracted me so I looked at the test a few mins late 😣

I’m 9 or 10dpo. Went to the docs yesterday for something unrelated and he tested me. BFN! So I’m not exactly filled with hope. If I’m 10dpo I would’ve liked a more visible line 😕 Suddenly very anxious about another miscarriage.

Two week wait anyone?
AG1993 · 18/04/2024 07:31

Good morning my wonderful ladies ☺️, so I am 10/11 dpo and did a test this morning and could see a very faint line but think it was out of the time frame so did another one and it was a big fat negative. I even asked my husband if he saw a line and said he could so I will wait another couple of days and test again at the weekend if AF doesn't arrive in the meantime x

@moosey89 Yes agree with this 100 percent! Everyone's struggles are valid xxx

JumpinJellyfish · 17/04/2024 22:08

@Elisabeth3468 yes I think you are right - I will try to hold off until Sunday!

Still no symptoms really. I had a bit of cramping this afternoon but then realised that I probably get random cramping all the time and don’t notice it as not paying attention. The week is really dragging for me now though!

Aisling1010 · 17/04/2024 21:53

Absolutely no cramping today, boobs still hurt, negative test again this evening. Wish I could wait to Saturday to test again, but already know I’m going to test in the morning🙈 and then I will be upset and struggle to focus at work 🙈

JumpinJellyfish · 17/04/2024 21:53

@Aisling1010 yes I do! If your thyroid has been under active it could have caused your cycles to become irregular, so now that you’re on thyroxine they might go back to normal 🤞🏻. Some symptoms
of pcos (weight gain, ovarian cysts) can also be due to hypothyroidism so you may well not have pcos at all. If your hormone tests were normal I think it’s unlikely that you do.

But I’d still recommend inofolic as it’s beneficial either way.

Aisling1010 · 17/04/2024 18:23

JumpinJellyfish · 17/04/2024 17:28

That’s interesting @Aisling1010 - when did your cycles change? Have you ever looked into it?

If you have (or might have) PCOS I recommend a supplement called inofolic. I don’t have pcos but I have a thyroid condition and I take it for that - it’s reduced my cycle from 32 days to 29 and when I started taking it I lost the last bit of baby weight from dc2 so I think it has stabilised my hormones. Loads of people with pcos have had amazing results with it.

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I will definitely get that. I had hormonal bloods done about 10 weeks ago and turned out I have an under active thyroid! Is that what you have too? So I’m on medication for that now. They never mentioned pcos everything else came back normal except the thyroid. But I feel like I do have pcos becuase I have every symptom of it and both of my sisters have it!!

It is so early and you can implant any day up to 10 so you are definitely not out. How many days LP do you have? I usually have 12 so going try and resist testing today at 9dpo.

Do you BBT? what's your chart looking like? Mine went up again today - although i know it means nothing.

I’m not sure how many days LP I have actually, because my cycles have been so irregular for a while I have no idea when I’m getting a period! But the last time I used ovulation tests a period came 15 days after my positive.

I don’t chart or anything like. So I can’t understand your chart at all😅 but If I don’t get pregnant this cycle I might look into doing that next cycle!

You’re smart not testing today at 9dpo! Xx
