Anyone else currently in TWW? I’m 4dpo and anxiously waiting until I can test.

I am currently trying to conceive my 3rd baby. I have 2 girls who are 6 and 8. And I’m desperately hoping they to see a positive test
My periods have been very irregular for the past year or so. But got a positive ovulation test on Sunday morning and have done BD with hubby last Wed, Saturday night and Monday night.
🤞🤞

Im also anxious because as ridiculous as it sounds I’ve had 2 online readings from 2 different psychics last month, one said I would conceive in November and give birth in August and one said September and December would be important months. Now I can’t get it out of my head that I won’t convince until the end of the year (if that even happens) 🙈🙈

I had no problems conceiving my first two girls 6 and 8 years ago, happen on first try both times so I am desperately hoping it will be the same this time. I am 30 now so still young.

sorry for the long read! X

Hi

Hoping to join 7DPO here and tested and it was negative.. which i know is to early but had spotting on 5dpo on one wipe which i've never had before and am having cramps along with constipation.

Hoping it all our month! Going try not to test until saturday/Sunday - how is everyone else feeling?

Hi!! Ahh I’m 7dpo too tested last night and it was negative too which I was obviously expecting! It’s very very rare to get a positive that early! I
I’m still going to test again tomorrow though 😅

But yes waiting to Saturday/ Sunday would be more ideal!

ohh that spotting could definitely indicate implantation bleeding!

Hi all, can I join? I’m 2 dpo. I’ve got a little girl who’s 2 & a half. We had 4 recurrent miscarriages before her and 1 last year. We’ve decided to try again. I’m so nervous I’ve got to start taking progesterone asap but I’m waiting for my consultant to get back to me x

Elisabeth3468 · 15/04/2024 16:44

@Aisling1010 Thank you ! 🙏 no trying for second now. My son is 2 years old and we started trying when he was about 14 months. He was conceived via ivf. I had an early miscarriage in October. I have PCOS and my periods used to be really erratic but since they returned post partum they are regular !!

JumpinJellyfish · 15/04/2024 16:37

I think that’s only if there is a problem with the sperm @Revelatio - if no issues then daily is actually better.

I was wondering about this so did quite a bit of googling last week!

Revelatio · 15/04/2024 15:34

Yes, they recommend every other day when ttc. I think it’s something to do with that frequency being the best for optimal sperm quality.

7dpo and flitting between having symptoms and then telling myself they’re all in my head. Honestly, I’m a semi-sane human with a professional job but the 2ww completely changes me 🙈

@RainbowCrocs I’m exactly the same. At 7dpo keep thinking ohh that’s definitely a symptom etc but probably isn’t anything!

my only symptoms really are on and off cramping, boobs a tiny bit sore. But that’s pretty normal symptoms before my period anyway to it’s impossible to know the difference! I just want to know already 🤣

haha yess it turns us into crazy people!

About 5DPO and nipples feel a bit sore but generally only when brushed/pressed. I'm not getting my hopes up because we've been trying nearly a year now and have known fertility issues.

🤞🤞 for you ❤️

is this your first you are trying for? X

How is everyone feeling today? Is anyone testing soon?

Also, any EWCM experts? I use that to guesstimate ovulation - had loads on Monday and Tuesday and a tiny bit on Weds - do you think that means O day was tues or wed?

Ive assumed Wednesday as I think EWCM comes just before ovulation, so if that’s right I’m 5dpo. Still too early to symptom
spot so it’s quite boring!

I stupidly tested last night🙈 negative of course! I was only 6dpo!

7dpo today. I was going to wait to later in the week to start tested because I think I’ll start from tomorrow morning. Because I’m impatient. Using clear and simple early response tests.
Regarding the EWCM I had quite a bit at 4DPO too, then kind of just went completely dry, had a little bit today. I’m not what it should be like at this stage! Did you use OPks no?

@JumpinJellyfish you're right, you don't need to dtd more than once a day. You will get the same number of sperm (as the production of sperm cells doesn't speed up if you dtd more frequently), just surrounded by more liquid! Once a day is definitely enough.

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 15/04/2024 14:27

Has anyone else experienced an increase in CM at around 5dpo? It's varying between EWCM & being watery. It's completely new for me so I don't know whether it's normal or not. I feel like it was definitely more frequent yesterday at 4dpo though.

My boobs really hurt on the days around ovulation and I thought it had gone away. Until my son stood directly on my nipple this morning 😭 there goes using sore boobs for symptom spotting 😅

Alex900 · 15/04/2024 14:24

JumpinJellyfish · 15/04/2024 14:00

@Alex900 is CM a reliable indicator for you? I get random pains around ovulation but have never managed to work out whether it is my body gearing up to release the egg or after the egg is released (and seems to change month to month too). For me EWCM is most reliable as it starts to appear about 4 days before ovulation, then there is loads in the 2 days before and it dries up after I’ve ovulated.

Also, I don’t think you need to dtd more than once a day? Totally up to you but I think daily (even every other day) is enough - if I was having sex multiple times a day I think it might all become a chore quite quickly, but maybe that’s just because of my DH! 🤣

best of luck!

I have never really thought about EWCM I know I get it but I can’t say when. But my periods have been tracked for many years and I always have my period within a day either side of the apps guesstimate usually. The pains are deffo a tell tale sign I’m ovulating when I was TTC the week of Ovulation i avoided doing the deed and it ALWAYS worked I havnt been pregnant since my DD in 2013. I may keep track of the EWCM after this month if I arnt successful and see if that’s a more accurate way. This is only my first month of actively trying so I don’t expect to be pregnant this time I guess I’m just hoping x

Am I aloud here? I’m currently Ovulating. I’m actively trying my fertile window was from the 11/4 to the 17/4 with tomorrow being ovulation day… BUT I know my body pretty well as I suffer painful ovulation and last night after BD the ovulation pains started. But non today so I’m guessing today could be ovulation day maybe what do you think? I did the deed 11/13/14/15 multiple times. We’re trying to hit 12 hour intervals 🤷🏼‍♀️ as to give us the best chance. I’m 33 I have a 13yo and a 10yo. I’m a little out of practice with the TTC as it’s been a decade but I’m hoping I’m on the right track

5dpo as well and thinking every twinge in my body is a pregnancy symptom 🙃🙃 going to do a FRER on Friday (9dpo)

One more member of the (slightly) messed up cycles crew! I blame Pregnacare conception!

I’m normally regular 28-29 days, ovulate on CD15 or 16. This month is a little bit late though, got a peak at CD17 and maybe ovulated the same day. Not sure when AF is actually due. Sunday is my best guess. Will test on Thursday.

JumpinJellyfish · 14/04/2024 21:34

Another one with messed up cycles here. I am normally quite regular - ovulate on cd15/16 with a 28-30 day cycle but this is my first proper cycle after a mc in Feb and I think I ovulated on Cd19 so not sure when to expect AF (though obvs hoping it doesn’t come!!).

I will test next Saturday at 10dpo with whatever pink dye test I can get hold of, as I’ve always had faint lines by then on my previous pregnancies.

MaybeBaby2024 · 14/04/2024 21:09

So the wishful symptom spotting has started for me at 2DPO 😂

And logically I know it’s impossible to have symptoms this early as implantation won’t have even happened yet!

But I’m so aware of my boobs feeling sore today. I’m sure I don’t normally get this after ovulation.

SummerSun24 · 14/04/2024 18:46

So Ill feel quite cheated if my periods came back so quickly for it to then take me so long to conceive the second 😂

SummerSun24 · 14/04/2024 18:45

@MaybeBaby2024 @2BabyOrNot2Baby I've been the same my periods came back 10 weeks PP while exclusively breastfeeding 🙃 and got quite regular before Christmas then last cycle was 36 days on my first cycle TTC when they are usually 30, was horrible! Had alot on at work tho so think maybe the stress made it happen, hoping I'm more chill this time for it all

MaybeBaby2024 · 14/04/2024 16:50

@2BabyOrNot2Baby Ahh similar to me then. My DS just turned 17 months.
Didn’t have periods at all until he was about 8 months old.

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 14/04/2024 16:20

MaybeBaby2024 · 14/04/2024 12:49

@2BabyOrNot2Baby Well for example, back in September I had maybe 3 weeks between periods.
My most recent period was 3 weeks ago, and prior to that my last period was before Christmas! There’s no pattern to it at all which is frustrating.

@Aisling1010 first cycle trying properly in a while. We did try back in December but it didn’t work. And then didn’t get my next period for over 3 months 🫤 so just had to wait it out until next cycle began which is this one.

I always assumed I had something like PCOS but have been seen by Gynae and they say I don’t have that 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do already have one DC so should count myself lucky I’ve been able to conceive at all. But just see that age gap getting wider and wider, plus we are getting married next year so don’t want a pregnancy/ newborn too close to that.

Ah no, how annoying! I've only had a few since having my son 18 months ago, but started to get into a nice little routine with them from December and now it's all up in the air again 🫠
Hopefully it doesn't turn up for a good reason this time 😁
