hi squack good thanks just tired and moody today

PrePG · 01/05/2008 14:55

squack what were yesterday's symptoms?

When FF gave me an o date yesterday I started thinking hey my stomach feels kind of funny - exactly the way it did when I was first pg last time. Then took my temp today and O date taken away - um, guess not on the stomach bit then Now I ~think~ I have O twinges...

Anyone else can't wait to get to bed so that they can go to sleep, wake up and take their temp?? I'm such a dork!

Squack · 01/05/2008 14:29

I've decided to list my imaginary pg symptoms everyday so if I do fall pg I can have a look back and go hmmm, yes, that would appear to be it
Tinks site link inspired me. How are ya Tink?

6dpo- Today I have no symptoms whatsoever, I feel completely normal

Yesterday I had loads (all imagined natch), this bean is very fickle.

Morning all. FF took my O date away today, but I don't mind Means we didn't miss it at least! Started BDing like we meant it last night and will continue to until we see a definite temp shift. At least we have a fun long weekend ahead of us!

Claire so sorry (but maybe it's implantation spotting!?!?) You can spend your bonus on a nice new kitchen if you promise to cook uber healthy TTC-friendly foods all the time!

Pre-period spotting this morning. I guess I will temp for first half of cycle although has been nice not to bother in 2ww. I stopped after 4dpo.

I talked to DP about going to docs last night. I think I will leave it two more months. In reality my first cycle was stuffed post mc so I have only had 6 decent cycles now.

In the meantime I'm going to get a new kitchen as I just got a bonus from work. I know I should be sensible and save it for potential IVF but what the hell! Not gonna spend a fortune though as its not a big kitchen.

Sarah ... you'll be missed. Good luck with everything & please don't be a stranger!

Rattling ... good to see you back!

Claire ... I'm in the same boat as you. I'm waiting until August before I make a Dr's appt but only because I desperately need to shift some weight first and don't want a lecture! Plus it means I can take 6 months of charts with me as evidence. I do think FYM is right about continuing to temp if you can bear it, my ov was always spot on CD14 until the past 3 months (16, 19, 22). Even though it can be a pain at times, I'd rather know that not just in case I'm missing our BD window. We'd hate to lose you!

I'm feeling realistic about our chances this cycle ... This is a very good thing as I'm no longer getting my hopes up at the least change in temp or twinge. I'll still cry when my AF arrives, but I feel strangely calmer about it somehow. It might only last until the weekend, but my new outlook is helping me for now!

Sarah good luck from me too and pop back when you can/feel like it.

minxi · 30/04/2008 13:54

Sarah good luck and we will be here somewhere if you ever need us! Hopefully we will be in the pregnancy department not the conception! Have fun and best of luck

sarah76 · 30/04/2008 13:23

I'm also having second thoughts about temping, even though it's like second nature to me now after nearly three years. I reckon I need to cut down on the obsessing, and being on MN every day isn't helping that. Before MN, I sometimes wouldn't plug my temps in to FF for days, would just leave them on the thermometer and do it all at end of week. I was thinking about it a lot less.

I've got so much I need to be concentrating on right now, finishing my master's degree, getting a job, losing weight. . . I think I just can't do MN anymore, at least not right now.

You ladies have all been lovely in the short time I've been here, and I wish you all the best of luck in TTC and everything else.

I'm going to cut myself off cold turkey now, and get my life straightened out!

Very very very very light spotting on wiping. . . .AF at the door again with her suitcase, teetering on the threshold! Hoping she'll hold off till tomorrow so I can claim a LP of 12 days.

I am pleased to say I haven't gotten near the HPTs, though last night I was kept awake by nausea and slightly upset tummy, and kept thinking. . .what if? It's more likely to be the 3 pieces of Toxic Waste candy I ate--that stuff is seriously sour and foul. But DP wanted it so he could have the container.

PrePG · 30/04/2008 12:58

Thanks guys. I really don't think I did - so I think it's probably best if we continue to BD through CD20 at least, since "normal" ovulation for me is usually between 18 - 20... I really hope we didn't miss it.

Squack · 30/04/2008 11:42

Hmm Prepg it's hard to say.

If you always have ewcm then I'd have thought that it will amend your lines in a few days, especially if you get another temp shoot.

Have you done opk's this month?

fym · 30/04/2008 11:31

...having said that I did ov early for the last two months, so am trying to BD frequently just in case!

OP posts:
fym · 30/04/2008 11:30

prepg - I'd say not - I think your coverline is a bit low (it was 97.3 last month) and if you put it there then the answer is no! I would guess your temp will shoot up when you do OV then the coverline will move.... or alternately it may move if your temp is down tomorrow.
