Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

7dpo- sharp stabbing pains in both ovaries today, temp still good. Headachey, feel crap with a sore throat that has been threatening for 3 days.

Tested this afternoon with the faintest of faint pink lines on it. Will wait another couple of days and then do one again just in case it was evap line.

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 19:01

I'm thinking of getting a CBD monitor also Prepg ... I keep scanning eBay for a good deal. There's one company that has about 200 of them in a single listing for 69.99 BNIB with sticks etc ... only thing is, the packaging is old. So, it could be a great deal or else the expiry date's run out on everything (although I don't suppose that would affect the monitor at all and even if you have to buy new sticks, you're still getting a good deal on the monitor itself). We use preseed occasionally too ... don't know if DH is a big fan, but I like it!

Fingers crossed for the Olympic swimmers

PrePG · 02/05/2008 18:04

Good luck Claire! My fingers are crossed for you!

Funny thing, is this is my first month taking EPO, and I thought it would help! Maybe it needs a few months to kick in? Oh, well! I think I may just invest in some preseed for next cycle just in case I have this issue again. Unfortunately, as I'm only temping, it doesn't help much in predicting O when I don't have any EWCM! Might have to invest in a CBD monitor as the secret about the sticks has been discovered!

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 17:59

OK. Missed the whole testing thing ... maybe I should start taking something for my eyesight, let alone EPO for EWCM!!

Doubt I'll get to test this weekend. Feeling pretty AF-y. FF did spot a 'potentially triphasic' pattern on my chart for the first time, but then my temp drop always comes by 13DPO ... so we'll have to see what happens tomorrow. If no AF & temp still high by Sunday then I just might test. But again, feeling af-ish ... and not experiencing any wacky symptoms at all.

Thanks for asking, Prepg!!

Clairvoyanttoo · 02/05/2008 17:55

Hey Prepg ... I never used to have much until I started to take some Evening Primrose Oil at the start of my cycle. I saw a definite improvement the first month ... honestly, I went from scant supply to lots!!! Just something to think about in case you don't hit the jackpot this time around ... although of course I hope you do!!

tinkiswaiting · 02/05/2008 17:30

good luck prep

PrePG · 02/05/2008 17:28

Thanks Clair I'm not very hopeful this month as I was so confused about O'ing because there was pretty much NO EWCM I really hope his super swimmers are like Olympic gold medal type guys! So I guess we'll see.

But, more importantly...are you testing this weekend?!?!?

Hi Everyone! Lovely long weekend ahead of us ...

Herby ... so sorry you're feeling low. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Lottie ... have a wonderful yoga weekend! Fingers crossed this morning's bd session was as lucky as your CBD purchase at Superdrug!

Prpg ... honestly, I don't think 15-30 minutes makes much of a difference at all. Excellent work on the well timed BD'ing!!

tinkiswaiting · 02/05/2008 14:55

i am frezzing brrrrrrrr have heating on full and a blanket

minxi · 02/05/2008 13:48

Lottie have a lovely weekend - sounds brilliant fun and healthy?!
Prepg I am rubbish at working out ovulation you need a professional chart stalker!! Probably Ready or Sarah was v good!
Ready where are you - hope you are okay...

I saw my consultant yesterday for a follow up and he basically said he doesn't understand it after 2 ds and nothing wrong with me or dh why we are not getting pregnant - said only other option he would recommend would be ivf as he was certain that would be successful... I did agree (when I saw him 7 months ago I said I couldn't see myself doing ivf/iui etc!!!) and so now he is writing a letter to my gp and the ivf clinic which is fairly local to me. Told dh and he said "how much does it cost" I said I didn't ask as that to me wasn't important! Anyway as we are abroad alot in Spain, there is a clinic in Marbella, have emailed them today to find out the procedure and costs over there - which might be interesting! Little bit worried but hey after 3 years it would be harder not trying all the options before giving up...

PrePG · 02/05/2008 12:48

Nevermind. I think I figured it out. I think I did ovulate yesterday (which would be great since we managed to get lots of well-timed BD in! ) as I had a temp rise this morning that is pretty much in line with my post-o temps from my previous cycles. It's just that I always forget FF needs 3 temps to confirm ovulation! It will probably give me an O date in a couple of days.

Hoping that my lack of CM will not have been a deal breaker

Lottie Hope it was a lucky one! and have a lovely time on your yoga holiday.

Minxi I was at the dentist this morning too!

Herby So sorry your not feeling well .

I don't know what is going on with this cycle I'm so confused! The past three days my temp taking has not been brilliant. Wed and Thurs I woke up 15 minutes later than normal and today a full half hour. FF didn't give me an open circle on any of the temps, but I wonder if I should change them to reflect the time difference? Any suggestions?

Hi all
Been lying low - in fact - feeling a bit miserable today. DS is being a bit tricky (nearly 2 and can be v.v. trying some days as gorgeous as he also might be), I went to soft play this morning and was surrounded by pregnant women which made me feel more depressed. I suspect for those of you who are TTC#1 it might sound a bit strange to be bothered by pregnant women but I'm finding it all quite hard and keep wondering whether ds is going to be an only child (I've not been trying for long, granted, but I also don't know how long it'll be - I'm 38 this year so also feeling OLD ) and feeling a bit sad about that whilst at the same time wanting to appreciate him because I'm lucky to have him and whilst he's at a generally lovely age......

Not sure if I really am 13 dpo as I'm not sure if I really did ovulate on the day ff says I did. Have very tender breasts and mild dragging feeling (but did have this when pg with ds1) but really don't think I am pg this month. Have a weekend away with the family this weekend.....oh great.

Enough of my me me me moaning. Forgive me, I've spent all day with no adult conversation (even MIL didn't want to talk to me when she called at lunchtime to ask me something) and a whingeing 22 month old.......

Maybe I'll be in a better mood tomorrow but I've also vowed not to POAS and will just wait for AF to arrive instead....

Sorry Sarah has left us....and hope the rest of you are all ok. I think I too will keep temping pre-ov as I also get quite excited about waiting for my temp to appear !!......and filling in my little chart (god I really must get out more/find a hobby other than the TV!)

tinkhasovulated · 01/05/2008 17:48

i am the same squacky we will dork together lol

Squack · 01/05/2008 17:31

5dpo-Crampy, cranky, lower backache and no sleep the previous night (which probably explains the cranky bit).

I do get quite excited whilst taking my temp, thinking ooh wonder what it'll be today, but I'm also rather excited about listing my symptoms.

Yes it is dorky, but i'll dork along with you
