I know, I'm quite proud really

I've decided to believe that the dip is implantation and that the ++ EWCM means I'm pg, as I can only ever remember having it when I'm pg.

My temp raised back up this morning so obv that brings the inevitable question of whether that was an implantation dip at 7dpo, coupled with some light cramping over last 2 days, it's a shoe-in

Actually whilst walking through town today I had to stop due a sharp stabbing pain for a few seconds over my right ovary-ish area, so that's obv a sign as well

My headache had returned with vengeance and I've got EWCM again.

My body clearly has no clue at all what's going on, and my hurty brain has even less.

No temp today, I was so exhausted I didn't wake up for alarm or anything.

Claire, sorry the b*tch got you.

OrchidGirl, where are ya?

PrePG · 04/04/2008 13:53

herbgarden and claire - fingers crossed for you both!

herbgarden I've always been advised to do what you normally would even if you're in the 2WW. It won't matter at all to the baby if you are pg as you're not sharing blood at that point. Also, I always love to temp Murphy's Law

I'm getting even more confused about my cycle. CD21 and still no sign of O, which is fine because it's my first cycle since MC, but I had spotted for a few days around 16-18 and then it stopped and today it's started again. Have no idea what it's all about.

Oops - jumped out of bed to do a mega early Tesco shop (only way I can do it now DS gets really impatient so I entice into the trolley with hs "breakfast" a mixed pot of cereal, raisins and rice cakes - fine until he manages to tip it all over the floor....) and entirely forgot to take temp. Maybe it's dipped by now ? Who knows. Monday is when AF should be here and TBH I am almost never late, early maybe, but late no...

Claire I had lots of spotting very early with DS. I know that doesn't necessarily help and I know that you probably are aware that it can happen early pg.....fingers crossed for you.

I am going to resist POAS all weekend - if the weather is good I'm hoping to get some time in the garden if I can persuade DH to go and visit PIL's with DS...might take my mind off it.

No other symptoms...had a couple of funny dizzy spells. Boobs feel a bit tender but not sure....if I remember rightly, first time round they were so tender and almost hot .....Although I also used to get that as an AF symptom when much younger....

All I can do is wait. Have just also bought stuff to make icecream (not made it before) as we have friends over for dinner on Sat night and notice it has raw egg yolks.....and shall I drink??....I think I might do all of them and blow caution to the wind...I'm not exactly the worlds biggest drinker anyway.

Lordy I'm rambling.
Must go......

Crossing fingers for you Claire, doesn't sound like it's over this month yet!

Lottie, so odd you should mention it, I actually was on a low carb diet for about two weeks recently, but didn't lose anything and felt horrible the entire time! I was exhausted, sluggish, dizzy and constipated. I just couldn't function. It was DP's idea, he was really successful with low carbing a few years ago. I did have some success with Marilyn Glenville's 'Fat Around the Middle' book, but DP was having a hard time with it because you have to eat every three hours. The next week is all buggered with the move, but I've started an order with Tesco for the morning we move in so we can have all the right food in our new flat. Biscuits for the movers, but I'm swearing now I will not touch ANY of them!

There was some promise of a BD earlier today, but I hear snoring coming from the other room so I suspect that's right out.... oh well, the earliest we can really start trying again is next weekend, so maybe deprivation is the way to go?

Ready · 03/04/2008 22:48

Oh yes, so sorry about your miscarriage... I remember now (it's late, forgive me ) - I had a look at your chart this morning - have to say that your temp going back up again is a good sign isn't it? Fingers crossed for you. The spotting doesn't mean that the game is up - there is lots of anecdotal evidence of spotting/bleeding in early pregnancy, and it is perfectly normal. Hang in there

ClairePO · 03/04/2008 22:43

I don't have children no, I had a mc in Sept but we weren't trying so I took no notice of waht was going on and tested when I realised I was a week late. I'm honestly truthfully not hopeful. I think I ov'd on day 15 so tomorrow is AF due day.

Ready · 03/04/2008 22:40

Hang in there... sorry I can't remember if you have children already or not? I don't think you do... but there are so many of us on here now that I could well be wrong. Sorry if I am wrong. I just wondered if you have been there before? If the spotting means anything?

ClairePO · 03/04/2008 22:36

I think it is very helpful to see statistics. I have been very good this month I have only tested twice, once ridiculously early and then again today. I think it does take a few cycles of disappointment though to make you realise that testing early won't change things.

I'm still slight spotting which is pissing me off as would rather she just turned up properly. Then again I think I ov'd on CD15 not CD14 as FF says so if that is the case she is due tomorrow.

Ready · 03/04/2008 22:26

I have always been of the school of thought that early testing is not a good idea. Even if you are pregnant, you might not get a bfp until 18dpo or more. Way back when, I thought it would be fun to highlight it without people thinking Ready was a preachy bitch

ClairePO · 03/04/2008 22:01

Oooh you're the clearbluefairy!! i was reading your statistics earlier!

Ready · 03/04/2008 20:56

Lottie, trust you to notice the loss of the capital ... I changed my name to my alter-ego... the ClearBlueFairy... and when I changed back I didn't do it right. Only just noticed myself. Weird.
Since you had some bedroom (presumptuous, I know) action yesterday, I'd be inclined to go for some more tomorrow, over tonight... unless you think you can have some tonight and tomorrow?
Oh I know... the insensitivity of some people beggars belief. When we moved back "home" this year, the first time we saw certain people again, the first thing they asked was "so, are you and dh going to start a family now then?" - Luckily dh's uncertain career does give me a get out of jail free card, I just say "well, until we have a bit more stability, probably not such a good idea" ... the only negative is, if we do manage to get me up the duff, everyone will probably assume baby was unplanned

Herbgarden, fingers crossed for you. And toes.

Who is starting the weight loss thread??

fym · 03/04/2008 20:48

Well have just bought 8 pineapples and 6 bags of apples plus a ton of other fruit and veg. No not going mad have just read the juice yourself slim lose 7 llbs in 7 days by Jason Vale (free with mums juicer). Not a long term plan I admit but I "only" have 1 1/2 stone to lose so if I can shift 1/2 stone It'll maybe give me more incentive.

Plus i'm thinking this month would be a christmas baby and although am not going to not try it would be a good month for a diet!!! (I have also been worried about it being a pregnancy prevention hence now have an extra half stone to lose )
