I wish someone had hidden my last HPT....I caved in last night and got a BFP and this morning I had a massive dip down in temp. Saying that though, AF not arrived and I am pretty much always on time or early - I suspect she's just round that corner. I also have sore boobs, which I don't usually get anymore (or do I - maybe I've not paid much attention to it recently and suddenly have....). Don't know why I'm speculating really - I just need to WAIT AND SEE !! although I think the temp (massive nosedive) is the surest indicator that I'm not PG....Already decided that we won't try this month. I would have a dd of mid Jan and as DS was early and also I had to have emerg c-section I suspect that they'd whip another baby out a couple of weeks early which would end Dec. I did also think that maybe I should just throw caution to the wind but I don't think one month will make a huge amount of difference.....(let's see if I'm tempted )

I'm back after a fabulous week off work. I didn't go away, but my sister came over from the US - haven't seen her for 2.5 years, my brother came up from London - 5 years since the whole family were together . Spent a lot of time with her childhood friends and their kids. Also got a new job, which I am extra excited about. No more money but I have been stagnating here for the last eighteen months and the new job will be fun . Of course, now I'm thinking how awful it would look if I turned up pregnant - but that is one disaster I am prepared to face.

Just skimmed through the posts to get me up to date - think it might have been another thread, but most amused by Ready and Lottie's enquiries about prams and nursery places for their theoretical babies - those positive thinking CD's seem to be working . Lottie, as ever you behave just like me with your projecting temps and positive OPK's - at the moment FF says I am 4dpo, but messing about with FF shows a couple of higher temps will change that.

Need to check out the weight loss thread next - nearly back up to my terrifying weight due to a week of dining out afternoon teas and saying sod it to the low alcohol consumption. Very pleased to see a BFP - we're taking it steadily, but eventually we'll all make it off this thread.

My temps this month have been a bit erratic due to late nights and lie ins and occasionally leaping out of bed to deal with cats threatening to vomit , so I will try not to expect too much from it. When AF next arrives I'm going to work out when would be a good time to plan our summer holiday - we'll be cycling again, but perhaps somewhere a little cooler so we feel more up to other holiday activities . Have to enjoy baby unfriendly holidays while we can - okay so I said that last year, and the year before, and...

Nosing about in people's charts again and see that AF got Nappy Hope you don't mind me moving you, but I thought better to do it than have people asking if you've tested.

Herby, yours looks v.good!

sarah76 · 07/04/2008 11:43

PrePG, it almost looks like FF is following the old rule of "three over six" for your temps. Maybe you have O'd and just had a slow rise? I agree with Lottie. I've been doing FF for 22 cycles and it usually sorts itself out given enough time/information!

That's okay, Lottie no one could possibly remember everyone's individual situations on here! It's my first cycle since MC, but I charted three cycles before I got pregnant. Actually, I didn't temp the first cycle off the pill, but I kept track of CM - this cycle is looking similar, which makes sense in terms of my hormones re-regulating themselves. My second cycle off the pill, which was the first I temped, was okay, but things really fell into place on the third cycle. We're not TTC for this cycle, I'm just anxious to O and then get my period so that we can start again I'm so impatient!

Thanks Lottie I always forget how to post my FF chart, so only managed to when there were explicit instructions a few posts up! but will post on the chart thread now that i know how!

I agree that no other signs point to O and it seems like FF is grasping at straws! Also, my spotting was more like a light period on Saturday morning (just one instance really) but if I record that FF starts a new cycle - I know it's not time for a new cycle! I thought temping was supposed to help make sense of my cycle! {sighs}

Second peak day and I am wondering if we are doing enough. Very unspontaneous sex last night but at least the BF is happy to go on demand , before that we had sex on Wednesday and Thursday and will do again tonight and maybe tomorrow. I hope I am catching these eggs in time!

Graduated
Sorkycake: BFP 6th April

I'd like to tentatively graduate myself. I'm not going to temp anymore 'cos that way madness lies. CBE was positive this morning so my little worry yesterday evening was hopefully just that.

Good luck everyone!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Right! I've had it with MN (again!) posted on a thread today and got criticised for using my parents as childcare FGS ! I didn't say anything critical or criticise anyone else even...

Aghhhh mumsnet makes me so cross... people say such awful things which they would no way say face to face with people....

Can someone give me a good kick if I do this again..... this is the second time I've vowed never to come on MN ever again!

Beanie, I think you need to go to Sharing, Home Page Setup, and then scroll all the way to the bottom. Check that the chart is highlighted and click Add Chart, then click Save Settings (just above the Published Charts section). Hope that works!

To discard a temp from a certain day, click on that day on your chart to go to the data entry page, then look next to where you enter the temp. Click on the little box marked "Discarded" and save the entry again. When you look at the chart afterwards, you'll see that FF skips this temp as it draws the line between your temps.

Sorky, congrats!

Ready, I can't find the post, but I'm fairly certain I correctly predicted Sorky would POAS at 10DPO---what do I win?

No temp from me today, was out drinking last night and woke up late. But on the positive side, I can feel my CM changing and cervix is moving upward. Going to aim to BD every other day starting tomorrow and try for a New Year's Eve baby!
