Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

Oh Lottie sorry for the news about Dh's guys.

Is there anything productive you're able to both do?

He must be gutted poor fella.

RahRah1 · 06/05/2008 13:31

Hi Lottie, my husbands came back exactly the same, but around 5%. Anything below 5% they worry about but they said everything else was OK, so they did not see it as being a fertility problem and we even did IUI, which they don't do if you have any sperm issues that effect fertility. My husbands doctor told him he had a few too many 'backwards sperm' which went down like a lead balloon.
Hope DP feels a bit better soon.

Lottie - sorry DP is taking the news so badly. I was surprised just how upset my DH was by a poor SA. Is there any obvious lifestyle changes he can put into place to help?

If the count and volume is fine and they are swimming fine it may not be too much of a problem. Also, did the 25% target come from the same place that did the assesment? The criteria for "normal" is variable - if they have high standards they may not expect quite so many to reach it.

Ready - good to see you back, even better to see you on the "on holiday" list. Feeling a bit that way myself - still temping, but ttc isn't at the forefront of my mind all the time - which after 2 1/2 years is a great relief. We're on the list for IVF in November - I expect the obsession will return stronger than ever about then.

Very sleep deprived , LO has been unwell all night. Coupled with the cramping that started yesterday and is continuing this morning I'm expecting my period today.

Wish my temp rise was for real

ClaireV and Herby good luck!

Good morning everyone!

Temp still up but still feel AF-ish & no pg symptoms whatsoever. Will maybe test again on Thurs @ 18DPO ... trying hard not to be hopeful as it will only make it that much harder when AF arrives.

Herby ... you are a day ahead of me but we seem to be in exactly the same boat this cycle. Fingers crossed for you!

Ready ... sorry to hear you haven't felt yourself lately. Why don't we add a "On holiday: Ready" to the end of the list?? That way we've still got you??

herbgarden · 05/05/2008 21:07

Hello....still here. Really think AF is going to be here in the morning. Temp 37 degrees on SaT am - didn't take it Sun am and then 36.7 degrees this am so seems to be dropping although not the plunge that I've had before. Also did an internet cheapie pg test at lunchtime and had a BFN so I really don't think this is the month for me (and am still getting mild crampy feelings). I've never used those tests before but I can't see why they'd be any less reliable than a more expensive "leading brand".....she says?!....

See you all at the top of the list tomorrow...

Ready · 05/05/2008 15:26

Have we heard from Herbgarden??? I have just gone to have a nosy at the charts...

Clairvoyanttoo, how about you?

Lottie, hope you enjoyed your yoga retreat

Minxi, hope ds won his tournament

Ready · 05/05/2008 14:54

Hi. Sorry I have been pants at posting of late... I have not been up to scratch, and to be perfectly honest, not thinking about temping or ttc at all ... I guess I should remove myself from the list, since I doubt I will be temping again before returning from my holiday... hope everyone is doing well though?

thanks claire

Just putting FYM's temp back in.

ClairePO ... hope you're OK!!

Clairvoyanttoo · 05/05/2008 08:56

Good morning everyone!

Herby ... fingers crossed for you! Sounds very promising

Tink ... fingers crossed for you too

Squack ... you never know! You're only 10dpo, lots could happen yet.

FYM ... did you have a good weekend? Are you still doing your 15 mins? I'll admit I've fallen off the band wagon a day or two but I still try to get it in.

Minxi ... I wonder if your dotted lines will turn solid as you continue to temp? Sounds like they should.

Well, I caved in and tested yesterday am - BFN. Temp is still high today but not as high as it was so maybe I'll drop tomorrow. Still feel AF-ish and have no pg symptoms whatsoever ... so I guess that's that. Must just be having a long LP this cycle .

At least I've seen now that something different can happen to my cycle and if it can happen once, it can happen again ... hopefully with more positive results next time
