Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

Aw, Lottie, fingers crossed that she stays far away from you! HairyToe too! Hopefully you won't need to be guessing about next month! But I know what you mean. My parents will be visiting when I'm due for AF this month. What if I test? What if it's positive? Do I tell them? What if it's negative?

Chart posted on the other thread.

Do you know next month I am due on in the middle of a week in Menorca with Dh, kids and the in-laws. . Not looking forward to the am I/aren't I rigmarole then. And I won;t even have access to this thread for support!!! How will I cope???

HairyToe · 14/04/2008 15:01

I'll go and do it now

Tbh I hate this time of the month. Thursday/Friday last week felt quite optimistic. Saturday/Sunday "how could I have been so dumb of course I'm not pregnant". This morning temp goes up so a tiny tiny bit of me thinking 'hmmmm maybe' knowing full well if I get my hopes up the disappointment of that first nasty wipe will be even worse...

Feeling very periody even as i type...

Temp higher again today. Dh was away overnight on Saturday - anyone find their temp lower when they sleep on their own? Dh is a bit of a human radiator. Cramps and PMT settled down now so feeling a bit more human. Still pretty sure AF on its way.

Took a risk (get me life in the fast lane or what) and put my freshly washed bedding on the line this morning. Absolutely p*ing it down now.

Reflexology sounds great. I've never had it but would love to. My dream is to one day be able to afford to hire my own personal foot massager. Dh rarely obliges as he says it is boring and I am not grateful enough (git!). Instead he bought me an electronic foor massager which is ok but not nearly as relaxing as the real thing.

Sorky cake I had a CP last month. My period when it came was pretty much as normal I would have said. It seemed to take ages to get going though - I usually start with a great gush and this time I had a morning of brown spotting before the red blood arrived in earnest. Could have been my imagination though. I'm afraid I know nothing about fertility monitors so can't offer much help there.

Oh well off to collect in my soaking wet washing.

Morning everyone - looks like I'm at the top of the list! Wasn't TTC as it was our first cycle since the mc, so actually very excited that AF is here and we can start TTCing for real! Although part of me is cringing at my 10 day LP . It had been hovering around 10-11 before my pregnancy, so I can only assume that it's okay, but I wish it was at least a day or two longer.

Hope everyone is well. sarah at your ex-colleagues! Now you dont' ever have to see them again! And glad you had a lovely time at your leaving do!

Temp dropped below level that always means AF tomorrow - though it did on Saturday too, and yesterday was back up. No symptoms either way.

Ready - pleased to see you ovulated eventually, just think how chunky that uterine lining will be by the time implantation happens

Lottie - as someone else who feels temping etc. really has me in tune with what my body is up to I have to believe you if you aren't feeling very optimistic, but I'm allowing a myself a little hope on your behalf

sorkycake · 14/04/2008 12:28

Tink I don't think it looks like you've O'd yet. Are you taking your temp consistently (orally/vaginally?)

When do you usually O?

sorkycake · 14/04/2008 11:20

HiReady, hmm I don't think so. The monitor only measures the rise of oestrogen in your urine prior to a surge in LH, same as a fertility monitor. It doesn't detect hcg.

I have to presume I'm perhaps going to O earlier this month. I am having some cramps but stopped bleeding, so maybe it's my body readying for O. Seems bizarrely early!

Better start temping then, I don't normally bother until a few days from now.

Has anyone had a chemical pregnancy? Is the bleeding any different? I seem to have a couple of days of medium flow, then just spotting, few clots either. This morning after wiping I had a little bit of pink tinged ewcm, just a streak running through it.

Perhaps everything is just a bit odd.

Welcome back Minxi I have missed you

Lottie, sorry the heavy feeling has descended. Booooooo.

Sorky, gotta say, I know diddly squat about monitors, but is it possible you would still have some pregnancy hormone there, enough to trigger something in the monitor??

Morning everyone else... I am off for my reflexology appointment shortly... not really sure how to say that I could be pregnant, without saying that we are actively seeking a pregnancy

sorkycake · 14/04/2008 08:54

Hello girls
I've a wee question (pardon the pun).
I'm using a persona and have used the same machine for ears in between my pg's. I always O around cd18-20.
The machine has asked me for test stick this morning as is routine for cd6, BUT it is RED. It's never red until at least cd14...EVER!
What can be going on? Could it be my cycle this month is screwy because of a cp last month?
Would my period have been lighter/heavier due to the cp?

Hi girls...well back to the start for me...have never had an anovulatory cycle (or maybe I have..) af started saturday morning cd38(Sarah you may be right with days etc) and it is incredibly weird - huge clots of liver like like lumps full on af... for me af is normally fairly light to medium for 3 days...nver had anything like this - maybe the accupuncture cleared my system?! Will be having words! I was however, incredibly upset
Have an appointment on 1st May with consultant and think we are going to try iui... worth a shot I guess!
Anyway will read up what had been hapening with everyone else and write more later...
Hope everyone ok

sarah76 · 14/04/2008 06:47

Clair, we had to get the hamster because we were so broody. He is the most beautiful, sensitive, intelligent, well-behaved, wonderful hamster ever (getting practice in that precious first-born thing).

In reality, he often mistakes me for food and chomps on my finger, piddles in his tube rather than in his cage bedding like he's meant to, and knocks his wheel off the spindle almost nightly. But he is a very cute ball of fluff, and I love hearing DP talk to him in a ridiculous, high-pitched voice. Makes it worth cleaning the cage every week.

Huge temp drop below coverline for me, but not entirely convinced of its validity as I'm in a hotel, went to bed at 2AM, and adjusted from 36.07 taken at 7:30AM. Not even going to start thinking about implantation dips or I'll make myself nuts. Going to try to unpack the box with HPTs last of all!

sarah76 · 13/04/2008 17:54

HT, know what you mean about the romance going. . .DP and I finally had our first shag in ages where one of us didn't mention TTC (usually me). Think we're just so relieved the move is over and we're out of London!

Ready glad FF finally had some good news for you.

Am currently sitting in a hotel in Warrington. Movers came and took all our stuff yesterday, then we did a fly-by visit to DP's parents (mum at home, dad in rehabilitation hospital) on our way out of town. Didn't get here until nearly 1AM, but at least the cruise control was working like a dream.

Smuggled the hamster in and out of the hotel and he is safely installed in the flat now, though slightly annoyed with all this moving about. He actually screeched at me when I took his cage out of the car last night, poor wee thing! Thankfully I had my earplugs so wasn't kept awake by furious wheel-running. DP was too exhausted to care.

Movers arrive tomorrow with our stuff and then we will be well and truly moved up north! First impressions: can't hear police/ambulance sirens, only birds. Peace at last. And such friendly people, though having a bit of trouble understanding some of them!
