Thought I'd better start temping as my monitor has given me another high reading. Well so far I've had 2 days of medium flow, no clots and then 4 days of spotting, the first 2 of which were a bit more noticable but not enough to think "lightflow". It's def a bit weird!
Temp is below coverline though so that's a bit better.

Pootleflump? Weepootleflump??? ? How wonderful, I have thought about you lots chick ? and sooooo pleased to hear your news. Don?t be a stranger!!

HairyToe, don?t worry about what the others say about acronyms, if you want to use them, you go for it. I personally don?t like BD, but I have used it ? and don?t have a problem with others using it, if they like. Lottie is right, some people just like having a dig at the ttc boards. Enjoy your day in the country!

Lottie, sorry to hear that you are certain the game is up. If it is not a ridiculous question, how do you feel? ? What was in your parcel?

Rattling, sorry that you are back at the top. I like that you have a positive plan? cut out the caffeine and see what happens? Enjoy your tea and scones!!

Minxi, I am glad that you won on ebay. I still have never purchased anything from there? must get into it Definitely think that you should be firm with the acu, find out what the hell they did! Nope, still not started new job, apparently the CRB is taking the time ? so that should hopefully come through soon. Fingers crossed

I think we should do a straw poll ? gob vs hoo-ha

Yeah, still reeling from the yellow tone comment at the reflexology? that was so spot on!

minxi sorry your period's been so awful this month. Mine's incredibly light, very weird...

Yes HairyToe testing soon?????

pootleflump · 15/04/2008 11:26

Hi girls, just popping in to let you know I finally got my BFP! I haven't temped for a long time but I still quietly pop into your thread now and again to check up on you.

It's taken 18 months and I conceived on my 1st round of clomid. I have a spare clear-blue digital pg test if anyone would like me to send it to them?

Good luck to you all. xx

Wow - there are alot of us on this thread now...it is hard to keep track!

Lottie hope af doesn't arrive but I know what you mean about a slither of pink cm - usually means mine is coming too, anyway you never know there is always that chance! stay positive - hope the parcel is a good one, I also have a parcel at the postie - a pair of nike trainers I won on ebay...got them for £40 and usually £80 in the shops! must go and get them today to start exercising - again!

Ready glad the reflexology was nice and nothing too sinister came out of it! I am hopefully going back to accupuncture next week - although I am going to have words as to what he has done to my cycle - well I have to blame someone - surely Have you started your job yet ?

Hairy hope af stays away,...should you be testing soon?

ClairL thankyou - hopefully cycle has sorted itself and had a good clear out! although it has been quite an awful period! I am used to 3 - 4 days of light to medium but this has been one for an elephant!

sarah hope all is well with you.... thank you for all your advice and yes you were probably right with the cd25 and then 13 days later...although what the hell was going on have no idea - have had to buy new thermometer yesterday as the one I was using whilst away was a bit erratic...one day it said 41.35 so think it was on the blink and not giving me the correct readings - am going to follow Lottie advice and do the hoo har way ? is that the correct way to say that..?!

Nappy hope all is well with you... are you still on the clomid ? how is it going ? did you get to do iui or just the clomid first ?

Rattling Hope all is well in rattling house... are you feeling positive about this month - fingers crossed x

wow this could go on forever.... will be back later !

Back at the top . Really crap looking chart this month . Need to get back off the caffeine, see if I can lengthen my LP again. Far from surprised at AF arrival - just minor cd1 blues. I think tea and scones are called for

Will be back tomorrow with more bounce (would be helped if anyone had some good news )

Just read your post properly. Sorry she seems to be on her way. Had to laugh at your poking around though - I know exactly what you mean. I'm spending far too much time than is healthy sitting on the loo with a rolled up bit of toilet paper...

Impressed you've been running. I get out of breath if I rush to answer the phone too quickly.

Hi just read the anti-acronym thread on AIBU and feeling thoroughly chastened for using AF and BD on here. I never really thought about what they meant tbh just assumed it was the done thing! But Fertlityfriend has BD on the chart doesn't it? Is that where it comes from?

Never thought of myself as twee ans cutesy before!I certainly manage to say the words period and sex in real life (and probably a lot worse besides!)

So? the reflexology went well? my feet are yellow apparently ? (please note not in a scabby way, but the skin tone is yellowy) and that means I am ?totally fed up, resentful, indignant and displeased; with a jaundiced view of life!? Think that just about sums me up at the mo! Also she noticed that my adrenal glands are working over time, and because I told her my energy levels are quite high, she thinks that I am using adrenalin for my day-to-day energy, which is not good. I need to relax more and completely disconnect from all my worries and stresses at least once a day. It was very relaxing, but I didn?t drift off ? I think I was too conscious of what she was doing, and wondering which area she was ?working?.

Rattling, that positive spin on late ovulation evaded me! Very proud of you for that? let?s hope an egg got attacked and needs somewhere chunky to bed down ? No symptoms you say?? Do you normally get pre-menstrual symptoms?? Oooh, I so hope it is your month!

Lottie, I sort of followed your advice ? when she asked her million questions, one was ?are you pregnant?? ? I just laughed and said ?well, I could be, I will know next week? ? and then followed it up by saying that I have never been on the pill (true) and we don?t use any contraception (true) so there?s always a chance (true) ? Didn?t have to lie once? she asked if I had any gynae complaints, and I said ?not that I am aware of? ? which is also true, because all my tests have shown I am working normally.

How are you feeling? I nice high temp for this late on in the game fingers and toes crossed for you.

Sorky, sorry I was no help. Hope that it all becomes clear for you

PrePg, glad you are happy to be at the top of the list!! Fingers crossed for you

Hairytoe, it?s interesting about the temp being different when sleeping alone? I tend to wrap myself up in the duvet, so probably not really affected by dh?s temperature.

ClaireLesley, perhaps there is some sort of April fool doing the rounds and delaying ov?s for people No consolation I know. But at least you are not on your own ?

Jealous of all the pets? dh is pet-phobic, so I have to make do with feeding the birds in the garden ? I could watch them for hours. I only wish they wouldn?t shite themselves and scarper when they see me at the window ? Dh has said that we can have fish, and I am keen, but concerned about how to move house with fish. So perhaps we?ll wait til we are in our forever house

ClairLesley · 14/04/2008 17:26

Lottie & Hairy ... fingers crossed for you both!! You ladies have very nice temps at the mo so I'm all for staying hopeful.

Sarah ... completely get the pet-baby!! We have an 18mth old siberian husky which was one of the first things to send me over the edge of Mt. Broody. Like you, I love taking care of him and love how my DH talks to him like Gus is our baby. We're on a waiting list for a little sister for him over the summer ... thank God there'll be the pitter patter of tiny paws if nothing else I've already named her (Belle), bought her a pink blanket, and her first toy (a pink squeaker handbag) ... and the wee ball of fur hasn't even been conceived yet!! Just wondered if a dog could pee on a stick and get a positive result?? Must google that. Your hamster sounds adorable ... what's his name?

Minxi ... sorry about your strange cycle. Let's hope you're cleared out and primed for this cycle!

Prepg ... good to see you at CD1 (not often we get to say that!)... let the TTC commence! [smile}

PrePG · 14/04/2008 17:14

OMG, Lottie I was doing the SAME EXACT thing this month! Wishing AF was here, because, well, I'm ready to start TTC again! But at the same time wishing it wouldn't come so soon because I want my LP to be longer than it is. When she showed up this morning I was kind of disappointed because my LP is only 10 days! You're not alone!

As for testing when my parents are here, I won't be likely to keep it a secret - I mean, they'll be HERE and I'd love to tell them in person. After the mc I decided I'd much rather tell people when I have good news - we had waited to tell even most family and friends because we were worried something would go wrong, but in the end when we had the mc we kind of wished certain people knew. I don't really see the difference in telling my parents when it happens or in waiting a few weeks. My family has a trackrecord of not keeping these kinds of secrets anyway - when my brother told my mother he and SIL were expecting right after they found out she said 'what'd you do? Just roll over and pick up the phone???'
