Anyone want to join? I'm going insane!! I'm not sure whether it's because it will be our last chance to have a baby in 2024 or that this is our 5th cycle so if AF comes it then marks half a year of trying, but I'm struggling this cycle. Need distraction! Lol

Love the bedroom designs! Especially the suggestive (?) train pics!

sirensong · 18/04/2024 13:32

Back from holiday and period arrived with white water rapids vengeance, the little bitch. Now focusing on making my bedroom look incredibly sexy. Please don't be jealous about how great these designs look, I don't mind if you steal some of this hot style.

@ToeBeans24 fingers and toes crossed for you, keep us updated :)

Hopethisendswell · 18/04/2024 08:20

That's so hard @ToeBeans24 😔 sending you hugs too, and calming patient thoughts to help you hold out until the weekend. Not long to go!
Do you have any distractions to keep you going until then?

ToeBeans24 · 18/04/2024 07:18

AF due today. Normally spot day before. Nothing so far just light cramps. Resting heart rate has shot up too. Normally starts going down 🤷🏼‍♀️ don’t want to get my hopes up. Holding off til Sat at the earliest to test. I did track via OPKs this month but given the random surge of EWCM later in cycle I wonder if I actually ovulated later

ToeBeans24 · 17/04/2024 20:52

@Sarah268 I’m so sorry. I feel for you and totally understand. One of my best friends had her fourth baby today 😔

Sarah268 · 17/04/2024 20:39

Thanks so much, I just really needed to get that out! It really just makes you realise you have no idea what others are silently going through.

feels like as soon as you start trying, there are suddenly babies everywhere and everyone is getting pregnant instantly with no problems! It’s such a headf*ck!

Hopethisendswell · 17/04/2024 20:32

Oh @Sarah268 my heart is breaking for you. Sending lots of love and hugs xxx

MissEmily5 · 17/04/2024 20:27

@Sarah268 sending lots of hugs- it sucks and nothing can make it better. Allow yourself to feel all the ugly emotions in a safe place and give yourself some grace. It’s tough and you have every right to feel what you do 💗

God guys, some close friends just announced they are pregnant. Due same time as my miscarriage would have been. I’m honestly beside myself I can’t stop crying. Why is this so horrible, I really want to be happy for them 💔

Oh I'm so sorry. That's heartbreaking. Sending loads of hugs to you

@Ontheflipside_ thanks for your reply- I’m already 3 days late but the other spotting is just what I’ve been getting for the past 11 days. I might try and contact doctors again if I don’t get my period by the end of the week. I really hope this doesn’t impact my chances the next cycle!

Ontheflipside_ · 17/04/2024 17:57

@MissEmily5 hmmm that is strange isn't it. I'd be inclined to wait a bit longer into the evening before logging it and see what happens because I really don't know...

@Hopethisendswell sorry AF came!! Hope it's not too bad for you 🫶🏼

Ladies, can I pick your brains please?
I’m highly doubtful/know I’m not pregnant at this point BUT I’m really not sure if I’ve started my period. Of course my spotting has happened for what now feels like 85 years and I genuinely thought I started this afternoon when I received this when I wiped- red with what looks like a clot/small pool of blood (I’ve attached an image which I’m sorry is quite graphic so please be warned!) but it’s gone back to brown spotting (again I’ve attached a couple picture of what it’s been looking like)

My usual is that as soon as I get red/proper period it’s pretty full flow and very much an obvious period. However this is not like anything I have had… I really don’t know if to class this as my first day of my period or if I should still class it as spotting on my app. Hardly getting anything in my pants/pad just when I wipe.

thank you guys in advance for your help and sorry for the images! 🙈

ToeBeans24 · 17/04/2024 17:30

@MissEmily5 @Ontheflipside_ I’ve often worried about if my lining is thin (never had it checked) but my AF is always very light. Although has been for years so hoping that’s the norm.

No AF here yet. Due today/tomorrow. No spotting yet either. Hopefully I’m just a late HCG bloomer but not getting hopes up again.

Sorry @Hopethisendswell i hope the symptoms aren’t too bad for you. Wine and chocolate! X

MissEmily5 · 17/04/2024 17:28

@Ontheflipside_ no me either, I wish there was a test that I could do at home to check and see if there is any improvement!! 🙈 I bought my OH pumpkin seeds as they’re meant to improve sperm but I didn’t realise they helped with lining thickness, I’ll have to have them too now.

They certainly will! No matter how much I rattle with all the different vitamins😂

@Hopethisendswell aw I’m so sorry- how are you feeling about it all? 💗

Hopethisendswell · 17/04/2024 17:16

Definitely not pregnant this month...
AF has arrived with a vengeance!

Hopefully the odds are more in your favour, I'm sure we'll get another BFP on here by the start of next week 🥰 fingers crossed for everyone still waiting xxx

@Ontheflipside_ yeah I read that it should be about 8mm but when I questioned the consultant on this she said it is possible for those with thinner linings too- I think 8mm is what they look for when doing IVF. I also asked to be put on medication to help thicken it up and she said it wasn’t necessary at this point and that lining thickness can fluctuate.
I take Fertility Smart supplements (which have a lot of the recommended vitamins), vitamin E 1000mg- both of these are quite pricey. I also take omega fish oil, I also have 5 Brazil nuts a day, drink raspberry leaf tea (before ovulation only) and started having pineapple core after ovulation.
You would think that I would never get ill with the amount of vitamins/tablets I take 🙈😂 but alas, working in a school doesn’t help with it all!

And the trouble is I have absolutely no idea how quickly it thickens after ovulation either. Have you tried caster oil packs? I heard that's effective. As well as womb warming and acupuncture. I also take the omega 3 and am starting to have Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds this month.

Haha! Kids will get you, no matter how resilient you think your immune system is 😂

@Ontheflipside_ I’m the same, it’s easy to lose track of what has been said! My first transvaginal scan was on CD30, the day before my period came and was a very low 2.5mm, the lady who conducted the scan said that is the thickness that they would expect from someone who was a couple of days past having there period. My second scan, conducted a month later was on CD20 and was 5.7mm, still thin- should have been about 6-8mm but a big improvement. I do take a number of supplements and eat/drink majority of the recommended things, so hopefully that is helping. My FS did say that it is completely possible to conceive and go on with a healthy pregnancy with a 5.7mm endometrial lining.
is this something you’re concerned about?

Thanks so much for sharing that! I was a little. I had a transvaginal scan before I conceived DD in 2020 and whilst I can't remember exactly what the mm was, I think it was around 9 or 10 so very good. When I had my scan this month on cd16 it was 7. And I'd been reading it needed to be 8 for implantation, but now I'm not actually sure?

I've started reading about how to naturally thicken it and so this month have been eating foods high in L-arginine as well as iron, zinc, magnesium and vitamin c. I also took the plunge and bought pregnacare max yesterday which has iron and L-arginine in so hoping this will help....

Urgh I am now 12dpo and still getting symptoms. Sore boobs and nauseous this morning. Do I go buy a clear blue early test or wait until 14dpo and use cheapy? I'm torturing myself lol

Hopethisendswell · 17/04/2024 07:18

Morning @Ontheflipside_, sorry to hear that you have been suffering this time. Hope you get some relief soon.

Another BFN here, but spotting is bright red now, so fully expecting to see AF this evening.

Hope everyone has a great day and a BFP waiting for you xxx

Ontheflipside_ · 17/04/2024 06:45

MissEmily5 · 16/04/2024 21:22

@Plumchumm I would have thought so too, but it’s still early I guess (hoping 😂), some people don’t get BFP till the 14dpos are up. Plus, I have a little bit of niggling hope just because of my sister; she had a very light period over quite a few days and it turns out it was implantation bleeding but she didn’t get a BFP till weeks later (although she stopped testing after a couple of BFN and one was on 15dpo) soo I can’t help but hope I’m the same! Probably not though 🙈

I messaged my GP requesting a progesterone test and have been told they’ll get back to me within 4 weeks for an appointment 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried BBT and managed a month but it was sooo stressful as I wake quite regularly throughout the night and wake at different times.
I bet it’s something like that- I really hope not, I feel like we already have quite a few challenges to overcome (thin uterus lining and low sperm count) as it is 🙈

I guess only time will tell but I hope it’s something positive as it’s so unusual for me but thank you for your honesty, I really appreciate it xx

Do you mind me asking what your lining was in mm and what day of your cycle? Sorry if you've already said this, I'm getting a bit lost in the volume of messages 🥴
