Whats up Sorky?

I read you cant get false positives.

sorkycake · 06/04/2008 20:54

lissielou is it true that what you don't know about testing isn't worth knowing? ;)

I have a question about false positives and have got myself completely in a tizz

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 18:54

I was pg at the same time as 2 people I work with and they both got it. 1 got it really really bad and I felt awful as I was fine.

Thanks. I know with ds though I didn't feel pg until I got a bump because I had no morning sickness.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 18:51

fingers crossed you wont

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 18:48

My friend swears on rich tea biscuits brfore she got out of bed.

I like ricecakes so I will try them if I do get it.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 18:44

for me its always been managable. i eat little and often and made sure i always had ricecakes to hand!

OP posts:
kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 18:43

It was a hope I guess. Is it as bad as people make it out to be?

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 18:42

pmsl not sure how that works, i have red hair and have had ms to varying degrees in each of my pg's! but fingers crossed anyway

OP posts:
kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 18:40

Yeah its a quite obvious symptom. Still no morning sickness I hope I manage a 2nd pg without it.
Dh is ginger and everyone said I didn't get it with ds because of that so fingers crossed

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 18:37

lol, see this is whats making me feel so optimistic, im exhausted, i can barely keep my eyes open here!

OP posts:
kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 18:35

Exhausted, I cant remember feeling this tired with ds. But I didn't have a ds that time round.

Try to hold off if you can. Easier said than done of course.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 18:32

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 16:56

its ok lennied, but save your cash from now on and wait til af's late! it aint over til its over!

OP posts:
LenniEd · 06/04/2008 14:57

at the 4 day poo break!

I cracked and tested. Sorry. BFN

Today was earliest AF could be due so thought it was OK to test.

No HPTs in house now though so won't test until can be bothered to order some off eBay. Will try and join the live testing, but would imagine AF will get me before then. My last cycle was lonngggggg so this one will probably be a shorter one.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 09:10

morning ladies, feeling more positive this morning. realised mild backache could be down to the fact that (tmi, sorry) i havent had a poo in 4 days. 4 days thats got to be some kind of a record, anyway had a poo and poof backache's gone! went to bed at 9.30 last night because i was so fecking exhausted and woke up feeling sick. off to LWH on 14th to see consultant so will ask about late cycle nausea, there may be something in it. i get it every month from about 8DPO til the morning af arrives. still not testing, off to buy ds some pyjama's in a bit, so will avoid the HPT aisle i think, dont need any temptation

Lissie _ I know what you mean. I feel like I won't be able to enjoy any subsequent pregnancy because the last 2 times I have had the rug pulled from under me - know you have some of the same feelings.
Nat - good luck for May. Hope the Galaxy did it's job
Kayz - lol at pickled onions
Lennied - no it still ain't over til AF sings! Will you be joining in live testing on Wed am?!

OracleInaCoracle · 05/04/2008 21:38

lennied, it aint over yet, but no testing yet!

and thank you for cheering me up a bit x

OP posts:
Lennied · 05/04/2008 19:44

Lissie, don't lose hope yet, I know its hard every time but its worth it in the end.

I'm feeling really naseous, am either pregnant or ill, am thinking the latter is more likely as have come out in spots so looks like AF on its way.

Try to enjoy the rest of your weekend, and hopefully there will be some good news later in the week.

kayzisexpecting · 05/04/2008 19:14

Its strange how it happens.

One of my friends had a baby about a month ago and she didn't know she was pg until she went into labour. Her placenta was at the front of her bump so didn't feel anything and she kept having her af. She just thought she was putting weight on.
