Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

I thought that this was your first BFP....

Expect the emotional meltdown - goodness knows it is normal, sweety. I am so sorry for you, i really am. I don't really know what else to say, I hope you are ok.

So they have left you to try to miscarry naturally? No risk of rupture for you?

Millie is doing great thankyou, sitting up and trying to crawl and is loving her food.

nomoremagnolia · 14/11/2008 19:57

Never been pg before -my first ever BFP was the one I didn't want. Typical!

nomoremagnolia · 14/11/2008 19:56

Thanks scorpio I am actually feeling quite numb about it all at the moment, though I'm fully expecting emotional meltdown at some point. How are you and little Millie doing?

scorpio1 · 14/11/2008 19:55

Sorry, but have you conceived at all before? (Can't remember)

My friend had a tube removed, and is now pg again after about 8 months. I know that isn't helpful, but maybe shows it can happen?

scorpio1 · 14/11/2008 19:54

oh my goodness nomore.

You must be feeling a thousand things right now. Take care, get some rest. I am so sorry

nomoremagnolia · 14/11/2008 17:40

With apologies for simply copying and pasting from other thread:
Unfortunately I don't have any good news - despite having what I thought was my period two weeks ago I have been diagnosed today with an ectopic pg. Had a bit of brown spotting yesterday and woke in the night with severe cramps on LH side. Rang out of hours GP who said it could be over stimultion on Clomid or ectopic pg. Did pg test, the only time I want a BFN and it's +ive. Straight off to early pg unit who scan me, take blood, poke and prod and confirm ep. Received great care from them and the epu was seperate from normal scanning/ maternity dept, which was really good after knowing some people's experiences. I only knew I was pg after I knew something was wrong so I'm feeling a bit bamboozled by emotions as well as physically being in pain. Am hoping I will m/c naturally as otherwise it means an op to remove the embryo and tube together, which terrifies me. Even if it's natural m/c I will be closely monitored for the next few weeks as they can't take the risk of anything being left behind in the tube.

Congratulations Toomuch Sorry you missed out on the peace and quiet of maternity leave before he arrived but glad to know that he's settled down into family life.

nomoremagnolia · 10/11/2008 17:52

Scorpio What are you studying at uni? It's a shame you'll have to leave Millie but I'm sure she (and you) will be fine

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 10/11/2008 10:52

toomuch!! Congrats!

Hope everyone is OK? I'm going back to uni this month...feel bit about leaving Mimi but it is only 8-4 once a week, not even every week as dh may take the day off

Still bfing here, all good.

Very quick message folks as first time online in weeks and weeks and only have 5 mins..

baby toomuch came 4 weeks early.. i hadn't even finished working so it's been a bit hectic!! Cant believe how much he's grown and how time has flown..

He was a little small with being so early but in full working order so we're just snuggling down into the toomuch family! All is going brilliantly!

Big hugs to all you girls trying I haven't had time to catch up but hope there is some good news in there for you all..

Sorry to have been awol and to post and run (and ta normore for the e-mail) - I promise to try and get back on properly when I get settled!

xx

PiggyPenguin · 03/11/2008 14:04

HI chaps, hope you are all well. Gosh, is Millie really 6 months! HOw time has flown. Jamie will be 5 months soon though which really doesn't seem possible. We however will definitely not be ttc now or ever again! How is weaning going? 20 weeks here so another month to go.

Nomore, I'm sorry you are coming up to 3 years. I also know that those stories about others who went on to conceive a gazillion babies after years of trying aren't helpful, so I won't do one - but there are lots and one day you will have one of those stories for your very own I am sure.

nomoremagnolia · 26/10/2008 20:36

Don't be silly it's not you! It's only that Millie being 6 mo and you ttc again marks the passing of time. Not just you, there are others who are back ttc their next one including one of my BFs who started ttc no 1 3 months before me and is now a month away from having her 2nd. Also workwise I haven't been very ambitious as I thought I'd be leaving to have a family. Each appraisal I set targets that I kind of secretly think I wont have to achieve, but then I do and I'm setting the next years...sorry for the rant/wallow in self pity.
How's life with you anyway?

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 26/10/2008 19:28

I am very sorry if i have upset you, or made you feel down? I hope you know by now that i don't take ttc lightly, or with a pinch of salt?

I am sorry that ttc is so bad and hard for so many people

Fingers crossed you will get your baby one day, however that may be. After this baby DH will get the snip and im going to egg donate.

nomoremagnolia · 26/10/2008 19:25

I'm ok, just a bit fed up - it's coming up for 3 years ttc and it's depressing me because I keep thinking that I'm not where I thought I'd be in life, really thougt I might even be ttc no 2 by now. Other than that I'm fine really

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 26/10/2008 19:20

Just being very relaxed about it

Are you ok? Seem a bit down...Sorry if wrong.

nomoremagnolia · 26/10/2008 19:18

toomuch was due around the middle of Oct but I haven't heard anything yet.
scorpio welcome back to ttc then
hobnobs I'm not normally up past 10 on a school night and it's been more like 9.30 this past couple of weeks!

OP posts:
hobnobs · 26/10/2008 08:29

Hello all. (Gosh, this extra hour with the clocks changing is a great chance to catch up with things, particularly when I'm incapable of staying up past 10.30 these days )

Sorry you were talking to yourself Scorpio. Was a bit caught up with work for a while and spent the last week just taking it a bit easier and recovering! Great news that it's all systems go for ttc-ing again! Hope it's stopped hurting though!

Does anyone know if Toomuch has had her baby yet? (Not entirely sure when it's due).

Nomore Just looked at your turtle keyring. You are very talented!

Gilly Saw your post about problems renting out your house in Newcastle on the TTC No 1 thread. Sorry it's all being such a pain - you really don't need it right now. Is it likely to mess up November's IUI dates?

Wave to everyone else.

scorpio1 · 25/10/2008 22:27

He asked me the other week!

nomoremagnolia · 25/10/2008 22:09

..but have you persuaded DH he wants another yet?

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 25/10/2008 21:49
