Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

Scorpio !!!

scorpio1 · 04/01/2009 12:36

Nomore - how are you?

Here's to lots and lots of babies this year, please!

hobnobs · 03/01/2009 09:02

Hello everyone. Just a quick message to wish you all a Happy New Year - meant to pop in and wish you Happy Christmas but a bit late now! I got struck by one of the many bugs going round (little dose of gastronenteritis) for the few days before Christmas which sapped my energy levels a bit. At least I just about recovered in time to be able to eat a little bit of Christmas dinner .

Also just wanted to say a big thank you for all your support in 2008 particularly during my moments of panic over low hormone levels etc. I really hope that 2009 is a great year for everyone on this thread, and results in lots more babies. Ready I have seen your news on your other threads and will gatecrash them to congratulate you!

mistlethrush · 02/01/2009 22:35

Sybil - how about having a plate of food (mainly for yourself) which has a lot of things that are suitable for blw on the edge nearest you and just having jamie on your lap?

sybiltherednosedreindeer · 24/12/2008 19:36

He is 28 weeks today. How, how is that possible? I have toyed with blw but he just gags and then dribbles whatever is in his mouth down his chin. oooooooooh, cd27, I will be watching this space...

scorpio1 · 24/12/2008 16:46

Hey

Have you tried BLW, is he 6 months already??!!

I will let you know, yes cd27 today

sybiltherednosedreindeer · 24/12/2008 16:45

Hey Scorpio, I can't believe Millie is 8 months already! You will let us know when you find out about no. 4 wont you?!!

Jamie is a tinker. He is very smiley and gorgeous but a pain. He is getting a bit better on the bfeeding, he no longer screams at me if I try to feed him, although he still often won't feed unless he is asleep. Now though, he has discovered the joy of refusing to wean! He clamps his lips together and simply refuses to let food pass. Then when you give up and throw all his food away, he tries to eat your toast/pizza/sky remote controller... 'tis most annoying. Still, we wouldn't be without him.

scorpio1 · 18/12/2008 19:42

MT - I'm doing a Social Work degree. Mimi is settled at nursery, will even take a bottle there!

Nomore - How are you? OK as can be i hope.

mistlethrushinapeartree · 16/12/2008 10:47

Nomore ((hugs)) - it was 6 years until ds for me - so there's lots of hope for you still! I hope that you're taking it easy and everything is now sorted out...

Scorpio - what are you studying? How is nursery going - has Mimi settled in?

scorpio1 · 11/12/2008 19:35

Hi everyone

Mimi is nearly 8 months now....eek. she is at nursery for a day a week now as i am going to uni again.

DH had another thai fight and won dh 5th from left i actually went to watch, it was so much fun! DH knocked him out 30 seconds into the 2nd round. Really good day out.

Am still ttc, not rushing or anything.

Wonder how sybil & jamie are? Nice to 'see' you Ready, and others.

mistlethrush · 10/12/2008 11:14

Sorry I've been away a bit. Good things are going well for people. Have started a knitting project - and due to deadline, not getting my mn time in the evenings!

hobnobs · 10/12/2008 06:28

Ready Lovely to hear from you. I kept meaning to post on the "Where's Ready" thread to say how much you were missed here but never got round to it before. Hope the knitting's going well.

Gilly Glad you've heard from the Hammersmith at last . Have you worked out if you can fit in the last IUI cycle? I remember asking the consultant how much of a gap we would need and he said one Clomid-free month, but I wasn't entirely sure how it would have worked in practice.

I am full of cold (& cough, sore throat) etc at the moment and have a tendancy to wake up at 5 or 6 am (surely that's for after the baby is born!) Will probably go back to bed later!

Ready · 09/12/2008 19:03

PS. Hobnobs, SO excited that you are 20 weeks!! And looking forward to seeing pics of babytoomuch!! Hope all is well x

Ready · 09/12/2008 19:01

I have only got a couple of minutes spare, checking in to see how everyone is before I go and knit for England (well for my family, but still!)
I hope everyone is well, I am sorry that I have not been about lately, there are not enough hours in the day. I do think about you all daily, and miss you lots.

Don't forget me, I will be back!

xx

hobnobs · 04/12/2008 04:38

Thanks, Nomore. I had my 20 week scan on Monday and all is well Am quite relieved really as still not felt anything, though the sonographer said that was probably because of the way the placenta was lying. DH was very impressed by the detail - we saw its toe moving about at one point! My sleep pattern is not so great - has been a bit erratic for a lot of the pregnancy (and that's before I'm being kicked awake!) though I will hopefully go back to bed and sleep in a minute!

Hope you're doing ok now, and physically at least back to normal.

Big wave to everyone else.

nomoremagnolia · 03/12/2008 19:49

hobnobs just checking in to see how you are - have you had the scan yet? Hope all's well

Lovely pictures Scorpio.

Nomore So glad and relieved that your HCG levels have dropped and you're released back to your GP.

Gilly You're right - I heard from the Hammersmith about a month after our initial appointment so would expect you to hear soon (unless there's a pre-Christmas rush!) Not sure if it's dependent on how long it takes for your PCT to process the funding application but I'm sure it can't be that different from area to area. No idea how easy it would be to speak to someone who knows but might be worth ringing at some point, just to check it's not got lost in the post.

Have my 20 week scan next week. Nearly half-way there

nomoremagnolia · 24/11/2008 20:23

Hi scorpio I'm fine - I'm at home and have been given the all clear from the hospital, my blood hormone levels dropped really fast and they were happy to hand me over to the care of my GP who's happy that all's fine and has arranged for me to have a lap and dye to check out my tubes.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 24/11/2008 19:10

Nomore

I hope you are resting at home and not in hospital
