Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

Gilly, hope you're feeling better. And fingers crossed! Glad holiday was good - wool sounds interesting, but the chances I will ever get somewhere like that and actually be allowed to do any SHOPPING are remote! I'll just have to be jealous.

Love the little brown Ugg boots - they are really cute. Ill have to look for some of my knitting patterns that I know I've got somewhere. Must get some wool and do a nice jumper for ds that he can actually get over his head for this winter (contemplating splitting seams on T shirts and sweatshirts - they are the right size, but getting them over his head is really difficult)

gilly sending the biggest good luck vibes your way this morning Fingers are tightly crossed for you

Hi gilly nice to see you back, glad you had a good time away. Fingers and toes crossed for you tomorrow - I really hope it has worked for you
I phoned the clinic to tell them again that I got BFN and they said that I can go again from Aug, but we won't be able to afford another go til Oct at the earliest. I will still be around but we won't be 'actively' ttc until we've saved the money to do IVF again. I will still be around on here though!
In the meantime I have been doing some more knitting - pics going on profile now

Gilly Glad the holiday was good - sorry it's so hard with little ones all around you . Will be thinking of you tomorrow.

I'll be on Clomid at least for the first cycle to see how that goes. I also managed to bring forward our NHS appointment from August to last Thursday - got a last minute cancellation, mainly because I thought it was the only way we'd be able to get the rest of the test results. We saw a registrar who whizzed through our results in about 5 minutes, told us he'd refer us to Hammersmith for IVF (but told us not to tell them we were doing IUI privately and that we'd probably have time to finish that before the Hammersmith IVF comes up). Sod's law but on Friday morning our GP rang up to see she'd finally tracked down my HSG results. Bit as I hadn't realised she was still trying although as she'd been unable to get the HIV test results as they store them separately, I'm still glad we got the appointment on Thursday.

Those soaps look really cute... I am always on the look out for little gifts for people.

Pleased to hear that you got a good deal on your bug

Is it totally lame to have cheese on toast for your anniversary evening?

We went out last night for a meal as we stayed overnight in a hotel, and then went to a really lovely pub for lunch on the way home today... and we are so tired all we want is to chill out this evening.

nomoremagnolia · 13/06/2008 19:09

But it still costs about £700 without carseat etc.

OP posts:
