Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

Sybil hope that you too are catching up at bit in the day when you can. Only thing to do! I still do on occasion - although ds has an uncanny way of cottoning on and scuppering the plan.

My parents have been up for the weekend, so df given a lot of things to mend, and gardening jobs and dm on ds duties - she now knows why very little is achieved when ds is in tow!

PiggyPenguin · 22/06/2008 15:15

Hi all, sorry haven't been around, feel exhausted as jamie has yet to grab the concept that sleeping is the thing to do at nighttime rather than during the day...

Scorpio, I totally understand how you feel. After last child I knew I wanted a third but dh was adament that he didn't. I remember begging him to put the baby stuff in the loft rather than get rid of it and then crying everytime we put something away as I was sure I would never use it again. It took 4.5 years of 'dropping it into conversations' but obviously I wore him down eventually!

Much love and hugs to everyone else, especially those at the start of cycles.

scorpio1 · 21/06/2008 08:44

Ready - sorry about cd3

Nomore - look after yourself, you have had a rollercoaster lately. Treat yourself

Well, my kittens are buggers. Offically. They go in 1 week and 6 days though, I will miss them abit but it will also ben ice to walk around normally without fear of attack, lol.

I'm shopping for a cot, i want a stokke sleepi but dh says too much money. I thught i would get one if dc4 was on the cards - asked him last night and it would appear no i thought there wasa chance...for in a year or so, y'know? Think i will just drop it into convo every now and then. DH says i should be thankful for what i have, and believe me, i truly truly am and never take my darlings for granted. I cannot imagine never doing this again, i really can't. i wonder if i will ever feel finished?

Anyway, sorry Today is a nothing day - supermarket to do, wahoooooooo.

Ready · 20/06/2008 22:01

Big hugs nomore... hope you are ok?

nomoremagnolia · 20/06/2008 21:51

nappyaddict I take full responsibility for confusing you with our rather cryptic title - sorry

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 20/06/2008 20:33

not sure where i will find toomuch but if you see her about and she is interested let me know.

good luck everyone for next month

Ready · 20/06/2008 20:09

I just said that hobnobs, on the forever thread. We are due a run of good luck!!

nappyaddict, I would love to be in a position to buy your zooper, but alas, it is still not happening for me. Hope you find a purchaser...

...perhaps toomuch might be interested??

hobnobs · 20/06/2008 19:52

Ready I'm sorry . I really feel like we could do with a run of good luck around here.

nappyaddict · 20/06/2008 19:49

i got it off ebay. they used to sell it in john lewis so there are a few second hand ones about. i really like it but ds walks mostly now so i only really need something small. i find it quite hard to push whilst holding ds' hand when he walks.

Ready · 20/06/2008 19:29

Don't feel bad NappyAddict, it's great to be thought of - what is the Zydecco like? It looks lovely. Where did you get yours from because I can't seem to find a stockist in England - and when I emailed for details they never got back to me.

nappyaddict · 20/06/2008 19:10

oh sorry i feel really bad now. didn't realise this was in conception and not pregnancy. doh

Ready · 20/06/2008 18:10

CD3 here.

hobnobs · 20/06/2008 15:40

Nappyaddict I think a couple of people were just looking at Zooper Zydecos - thanks for thinking of us / them but sadly, most of us are still ttc so not in a position to buy!

What we really need is some good news on this thread to brighten us all up! Sadly, I have none (CD2 - didn't think I'd mind as much now we've got a timetable for IUI. That was clearly a bit optimistic on my part!) Anyway, I am off to rainy sunny (yes - ever the optimist!) Ireland tomorrow for a couple of weeks with hopefully some nice, relaxed bd-ing towards the end . Last cycle before IUI. I'm not taking my laptop so will remain mostly blissfully out-of-touch so hope you all have a good fortnight.

Nomore / Gilly Hope you're both doing ok. Have been thinking of you.

Mistlethrush Is DH making any progress on finding a new job so life is less stressful?

Hello and big wave to everyone else .

nomoremagnolia · 19/06/2008 15:23

thanks MT

who is looking for a zooper zydeco? i am selling mine cos ds prefers to walk mostly now so i only need something small.

mistlethrush · 19/06/2008 11:50

Nomore hope things improve a bit this w/e. You've had a bad time of it recently. Can you have a bit of 'time out' together this w/e - go off and do something nice together - out for tea, dinner or something. It all puts a lot of pressure on a relationship, and dh's grandma dying must have just been an extra straw that you both could have done without at this time.

Mind you, sounds as though it might be a bit wet over the w/e, so perhaps you ought to get your wellies and umbrellas out and go and do something silly like puddle jumping together

I wonder what umbrella Nomore might like...

www.umbrellart.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=US124 would this be any good?

nomoremagnolia · 19/06/2008 11:07

Hi MT sorry I've not really had much to say recently, after the IVF failing DH's grandma died over the w/e so we've been pretty low in the nomore house. Hope your day got better though.

Where is everybody?

hobnobs · 17/06/2008 10:08

Gilly Really sorry. Hope you feel better soon.

Mistlethrush What a morning! Hope your day gets better!

mistlethrush · 17/06/2008 09:52

gilly

Scorpio - that is unlucky. I at least managed about 9 months, by which time he was eating quite a bit.

Took the dog out for a walk this morning rather than spend time with not so ds - usually dh does dog and I do ds... First thing - please can we put your sweatshirt on so you don't drop breakfast down your teashirt as you've got class photos... ignore, ignore, protest... try to take tshirt off him as an alternative - strongly resisted, insist on sweatshirt and he still hadn't listened to why I wanted him to wear it. Got down stairs - he sits at table with breakfast in front of him. Eats 1 cherio (only a sprinkle on top of muesli ) with his fingers. I say - you won't be able to watch any TV unless you eat your breakfast up quickly (yesterday he took an hour to eat a bowlful) he starts whingeing 'sorry mummy'(repeated) - so I point out that he doesn't need to appologise and that he would be better to eat his breakfast instead - cue meltdown and wailing. Walked out with the dog at this stage. Back to being friends by the time I got back, but it was one of those mornings.... Sometimes makes me wonder whether I really want another one in the first place!
