@StayingHopefulx only our second. So I need to be patient ! But on our first cycle TTC we conceived, but it ended in a chemical 😔

Did a test this morning BFN but only 13DPO. just waiting for AF but no symptoms of that either.

@ToeBeans24 in another thread I'm on, someone didn't test positive until 18dpo! So you're not out until AF arrives! You have some positive signs though, normally the cervix drops before period!

@Riverstardust I’m 15dpo today (confirmed with opk for first time) and still no AF. Just brown/pink CM when checking cervix (which remains high). Sore boobs continue. I have no idea what’s going on. Bfn yesterday. Haven’t checked today. Just want AF to start so I can move onto next cycle !

Wonder if it’s the CP last cycle messing it up? But ov was only 2 days later than usual and AF due date was based on my usual luteal length 🤔

@ToeBeans24 I can imagine, it sounds like a horrible experience! But you're not out yet! And even if you are, it's not the end, you'll get your little rainbow!

@Riverstardust was very sad and deflated as hoped with would be our month after the CP last month. Conceived first month of trying for that one so had high hopes. But we will continue trying and our time will come 🤍

Hey all,

I had a horrendous night last night. It felt like someone had reached into my tummy and was twisting my insides, literally like excruciating period pains. So DH and I decided to test this morning instead of waiting until the weekend so we knew my period was late.

I had a BFP!!! So excited but also terrified that last night is just going to be a regular occurrence! 😂

Either 14DPO or 10DPO. Not feeling too well today, nausea, keep getting light headed and some cramping. Not testing yet though, will wait until my period is late, plus DH wants to do it together. So probably this weekend! 😊

@CatmumTTC sorry to hear that. Me too I think as no sniff of even a faint line. Feeling silly now for ordering frers. They don’t arrive til later but I’m 13dpo and BFN on a sensitive IC. Feel like AF will come later or tomorrow for me. Really down as first month using OPKs so gave it a good shot

@ToeBeans24 think I'm out this cycle. Starting to get bad cramps and spotting. Earlier than usual, I average a 34 day cycle and its CD31 and 12DPO but this is the first time I've been able to catch ovulation with OPKs so that's given me some useful information for next time. On to the next!

@CatmumTTC hopefully a good sign! I also feel different this month but bfn so far (12dpo). First time using OPKs so as sure as I can be about date of O 🤷🏼‍♀️ my boobs are so sore. Painfully so. Never get this before AF. I’ve just ordered some frers in a desperate quest for a bfp 🫣

Still getting BFNs at 11DPO but I feel quite different to how I usually am a few days before my period, like I'm pretty happy and productive. Usually I'm a mess on the sofa by now! Could just put it down to the sunshine I guess but can a symptom be to not have usual PMS?! Who knows. My BBT is also triphasic...

@ToeBeans24 ahh I get you, that's fair enough. I'd have probably done the same tbh! Sounds like you're doing the right thing!

Something that helps me when I feel down about it not working is that there's only a 20/25% chance each cycle. So you could(and likely are) doing everything right but it's just not your month.

I wish all of this would've been covered in school, like I remember being told that if you dtd once without protection, you'd conceive. They don't tell you how long it could take, the probability of it etc.

This is true @Riverstardust although last time I didn’t get a bfp until day AF due and stayed positive until about a week after. It’s so hard.

Also wasn’t gonna bother with OPKs but did this month to pinpoint ov after the CP.

Now I’m even more disheartened as feel like we did everything right and put in a good effort.

I know it’s down to luck more than anything but that doesn’t help us when you’re in the thick of it does it 😔

Hopefully your symptoms are a good sign! I’m now thinking mine are just skewed hormones after last month 🤷🏼‍♀️

@ToeBeans24 not 100% on my ovulation day, either 9 or 13, but I think I trust the 13 more. I'm not doing opks as I'd get obsessive over them, also not testing until day of period because same. 4th cycle so feeling less hopeful but have been getting symptoms and my temp is staying up. So who knows 🤔

I'm sorry you're feeling that way! It's so disheartening isn't it. It's unlikely you'd have the same this time, would just be cruel! Maybe it would be better for your mental health to hold out testing until missed period? Then you won't worry if it's a late positive that it'll end in chemical. 🤔

im running out of hope this cycle tbh. Didn’t get my bfp last cycle until 14dpo (day af due) but as that ended in a CP I’m thinking I’m either out or it won’t end well if I do get a late bfp.

I literally had this last night, woke up when I turned over and they hurt. Seem better this morning though! Just never woken me up before. Fingers crossed it's a good sign.
