@Westy22 laying sideways is definatley uncomfy especially when they stretch and you get bigger. I never even new that was a position for them lol so niave. Youl just have to force yourself to eat else the sickness will kick back in. Although u didnt really have that did you.. if you can work till 38wks am pretty sure you can go for a relaxing meal at 39wks lmao. Tell ya oh to behave. You deserve it :).
@xxcxdonxx yeah i think i feel ok about it, am more annoyed they leave it so long. You read the stuff about criteria to kick start labour pre your due date and then the dangers of transverse and going into labour, and there like, yeah its fine, will see you couple days before your due 🤷‍♀️
@Paws4thought when do you have your bloods? Get a print out of all your results then you can have a proper look through when your home. Think ive got everything now yeah. Just need to sort thr it all lol

Paws4thought · 25/08/2024 22:20

@Sez281 they wouldn't give me progesterone last time so hoping they might do more when I next get pregnant, I'm planning to ask for the full results when I go for the blood test, as you say I could be on the very bottom end of normal so be good to know.
Baby might surprise you and come naturally before section or induction 🙈 hope your last 2 weeks at work go quickly.
@Supertrooper101 I'll look into hertility health once I've had these bloods done, I just want to rule out as much as possible, at least if everything comes back normal I know we've just got to keep trying, although im already fed up with the disappointment each month. Can't believe you've got your section date, that's come around so quickly!! Have you got much left to prepare?
@Westy22 I'd deffo plan to go out with your friends, if it's local it's no different to being at home really :)
@xxcxdonxx hope things are going smoothly with your house sale :)
@Jadeypie hope you're OK and enjoy your holiday.
@SnookyPook hope all is well with you too!

xxcxdonxx · 25/08/2024 21:36

Hey everyone,
Isn’t it mad how you are all due within weeks of each other, it (feels like for me) that it’s flying in!

I went to the cinema on my own a few days before my wee boy was born, it was 5mins from home so I was ok with it, so I’d say go for it @Westy22 . If anything happens then you have your friends around to get you where you need to be 🥰

Hope your last few weeks at work are ok @Sez281 and you can start to wind down and get into handover mode.

Your due date must be soon @Supertrooper101 , glad you have a date planned for your section. Hope you are feeling ok about it all.

thinking of you guys too @Paws4thought and @Jadeypie . Hope all is well in your baby bubble @SnookyPook xx

Westy22 · 23/08/2024 20:26

Heyyy

@Sez281 ahh it's nearly time, so excited for you. It's good Consultant isn't concerned about weight, are you all ready now? Definitely take some times now for you before her arrival ❤️ works hectic and very tiring, started to really feel it this week and keep feeling faint but think that's partly my fault as I'm not eating great throughout the day 🙈

@Supertrooper101 I can kind of tolerate the heartburn tbh, it's the tiredness killing me atm 🤣 baby feels like it's had a big growth week and everything feels so tight, had my first wonky bump experience last night where baby decided to really push out on one side 🤣 I have a feeling its gone head down a few times in the last few days but then moves out of it and is currently chilling transverse again🙈 How are you? X

Am I mental agreeing to meet some friends for a meal when I'm nearly 39 weeks pregnant? My OH isn't very happy about it 🤣 it's only local and its literally the only time we are all free 🙈 I can't believe how fast its suddenly coming round 😱

Supertrooper101 · 23/08/2024 10:04

@Westy22 the sleepless nights are hard work especially when you cant nap during the day. If rennie etc isnt helping the heartburn ask for something from the dr. Its called omprezole or sumat like that.
@Sez281 what position has your been in, she may want you to go natrual if shes engaged lol crazy how big she is at that stage!

Sez281 · 23/08/2024 09:26

@Jadeypie glad you're getting a little break away, it definitely came at the right time for you x

@Supertrooper101 my colleague has just got her date for section and it's only a day before due date too which is very frustrating if you're counting the days! 🙈 So exciting that you have the date though 🥹

I had check up/scan on Monday and everything still tracking well, baby was measuring big (5.5lbs at 32+3) but consultant said it's not concerning. I won't know for another couple of weeks of it'll be induction or section, just going to play it by ear and go with her recommendation. Have a feeling it'll be around 30th of September either way. Going to finish up work in 2 weeks I think just to give myself a little time.

@Westy22 how you doing? hope work isn't too crazy?! It's so stressful trying to get normal pre baby stuff done but can only imagine decorating on too of it!

@SnookyPook hope you're doing ok and still enjoying the newborn bubble 🥰

@xxcxdonxx hope all the house stuff is going ok and not too stressful!

@Paws4thought hope you're doing ok x

Just catching up, I'm sorry @Jadeypie @Paws4thought 💔 really thought it was your month, don't give up though I'm sure with the right support it will happen for you both x hope you have a lovely week away @Jadeypie xxx

Eeekk @Supertrooper101 so you officially have a date for babies arrival ❤️ that must feel strange, is it a case of if it turns you'll try natural birth or are you just going for it now?

Nothing much to report here, well on the way with the nursery, reckon in a another week or so I can arrange for carpet them start sorting the furniture. So tired tho not sleeping well anymore and I'm awake around 3am most nights and weirdly I feel like I'm losing my appetite, the non stop eating has kinda stopped...heartburn most of the day tho 💤

Supertrooper101 · 20/08/2024 08:14

@Paws4thought yeah am with sez, normal range can mean ok, but can also mean borderline crap lol another option is hertility health, they cover the full lot with a detailed report. No harm your partner getting tested so tell him to do it. If you have all the info about both of you and help is actually needed, then you will be in a better position to get it 🙂
@Sez281 hows your appointments going lol yesterdays was a bit of a downer. I thought they did sections at like 38wks but noooo, not before 39. In breech position now so booked one in but on the 39wk they dont do them, the next day was friday 13th 🤦‍♀️ so opted for the following monday, so basically 2 days before my due date 🙆‍♀️... lol
@Jadeypie good timing for your little break, kinda hope you decide to give it another try, youve come so far with your meds etc and things were looking up and just maybe, maybe the time will.be your time

Jadeypie · 20/08/2024 08:01

@Sez281 thank you for checking in I'm okay, everything's calmed down now and I'm feeling emotionally abit better just gona get back in the zone now and look after myself. We go away to Wales for a week soon which crnt come quick enough little family get away is most needed xx

Sez281 · 19/08/2024 22:24

@Paws4thought the day 21 levels should give you a good idea how your progesterone lis looking but I agree that it might be an idea to take anyway with the spotting. My LP was 10/11 days and taking the progesterone from 3DPO lengthened it (and possibly caused it to stick who knows) I'd akss as I ask for the full results from your day 3, I hate when they say "normal" as it depends what context they're looking at them. Hopefully you're not fobbed off and get looked after xx

@Jadeypie hope you're doing ok, thinking of you the last couple of days xx

Paws4thought · 19/08/2024 21:15

@Supertrooper101 no I haven't read it starts with the egg, I'll have a look :) Dr said she doesn't think infertility people would accept a referal because I've managed to get pregnant but she's going to do the 21 day bloods and go from there which is better than nothing 😊
@xxcxdonxx partner went to Dr last week and they they don't think sperm analysis is necessary cause we've got pregnant but said they can do it if he wants so he's gotta sort that out. My cycles are usually 27/28 days, not heavy and only last about 4 days, I do think they're lighter than before mc, that's interesting about the spotting before being a reason for progesterone, thanks. Bloods were fine, they didn't give me the figures but said in normal range except thyroid showed some antibodies which put me at higher risk of under active thyroid.

Supertrooper101 · 19/08/2024 10:06

@Paws4thought from what i have learnt on here, is that everyone is treated different depending on where there from, which is wrong. Am with @xxcxdonxx , i think those pesasaries (easy spelt wrong lol ) would help.you.. most say they have to follow the book and refer only after a year. Others av seen it be 6mths. I would ask for test for both of you, if they say no, see another dr to confirm that. Just keep pestering. Its such hard work with some of them. Have you looked at the supp lists from it starts with the egg?

xxcxdonxx · 18/08/2024 22:20

You are quite right to @Paws4thought and see what they suggest. I’m not really clued up on what you could ask for though, I’m sure some of the other ladies will offer better advice.
Has your partner had any testing done? How are you cycles normally? When I spoke to the consultant at recurring miscarriage and explained the spotting pre period, that’s when she agreed to give progesterone. Wondering if it’s worth going down that route?
Did anything else come back from the bloods you had taken a while ago? If i’m remembering correctly, they were all in the ‘normal’ range? x

Paws4thought · 18/08/2024 17:58

Feeling a little better today, thanks for your kind words, planning to call gp tomorrow as we've been trying for over a year now and 6 months since last mc, any ideas on what I can ask them to do? I'm fully expecting them to say as I've got pregnant although unsuccessful that they won't look into it until it's been a year of nothing but its worth a try!

Happysoul111 · 18/08/2024 09:43

@Sez281 @xxcxdonxx hi both, thank you for your messages. Hope you are both doing okay. it's so strange my period is just not usually like this at all. I have now practically stopped bleeding as it's super super light an there is nothing much there which will mean my period has only lasted 2 days. I want to test but I just know it'll show negative but iv also had cramps and lower back pain too. I also had really tender breasts more than usual before this period but that seems to have gone. So yes don't think there is anything to it perhaps.

xxcxdonxx · 18/08/2024 07:09

Hey @Happysoul111 , totally agree that TTC journey is a minefield!

I can often have brown blood from about a week after ovulation to the run up to my period. Ive had this and it’s turned in to my
period and times when its stopped and it’s turned out I’ve been pregnant. I’ve only ever had one clear experience of implantation bleeding and it was bright red bleeding that I knew was too early to be my period. So it’s all been a bit of a mixed bag really, as Sez says, that only way to know for sure is to test. How has it been overnight?

Sez281 · 17/08/2024 22:37

Happysoul111 · 17/08/2024 21:19

Hi all, hope everyone is doing okay this month and thinking of everyone on this journey too! I am so confused this month (why is this whole TTC journey so difficult) so I had quite a lot of dark brown blood for 5 days prior to my period which is unusual, I then started my period a day later and the first day of my period it seemed usual quite heavy red blood but now the second day seems strange, it's quite light, very light pink every now and then but then also has been brown today too. I'm really not sure whether I should take a test or just trust this absolutely can't be implantation bleeding and it is just a strange period. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hi @Happysoul111 I totally agree the ttc journey is awful as many of us on this thread can confirm!
We started this thread 18 months ago in May 2023 after many of us had MMCs and losses, fortunately some ladies have gone on to have healthy babies, some of us have got our BFPs and some are still waiting.. with regards to your earlier question I've been on high dose folic acid and it's never affected any of my previous cycles.. in relation to the odd period that you're having I think we do tend to over analyse everything whether it's symptom spotting in the tww or when AF arrives praying that it's implantation... of course there's still a small chance that if might be but the only way you'll know is to test.. best of luck xx

@Paws4thought it really is deflating, especially when you felt a glimmer of hope for this month. I’m sorry xx

xxcxdonxx · 17/08/2024 11:50

I’m so sorry @Jadeypie , it’s incredibly cruel to have that hope and then it’s taken away. You really have done everything that you possibly could to make it work.
Sending you so much love xx

We always said after the ectopic that we would give it one more go so that's it for me now I admire women who can go through this multiple times but I have my little miracle and I feel like he's all I need now I tried for him twice and I just couldn't go through this again x

I totally get it, it's just so awful when you get your hopes up a little bit only to have them dashed😔. You are so lucky to have your little lad and like everyone says give him an extra cuddle tonight 🩵 .. something was obviously working for your whether it was the drugs or health kick so try to take some heart in that should you decide to try again xx

@Jadeypie enjoy your cuddles with your little one 💕

@Supertrooper101 still no af yet, I've had lower back ache most the day though so that might mean I'll come on tomorrow, if not I'll test with fmu.
