@Supertrooper101 I will absolutely be checking out the Amazon one I couldn’t believe the price, it actually hurt handing my card!!

xxcxdonxx · 06/04/2024 15:32

Thanks @Jadeypie 🥰
oh I’m sorry, that’s horrible only having 12 days ‘off’ inbetween, it must take a bit of a toll on you physically too.
Hopefully you can get somewhere with your gp this week 🤞🏻

SnookyPook · 06/04/2024 14:33

@Supertrooper101 sadly can't comfort myself with that as placenta is perfectly positioned - posterior and high up!! I'm sitting here currently getting lots of little kicks and bops after a big lunch so feeling lots better! - think they've enjoyed the food 😂

@JM1997 deffo Amazon cheapies! You get about 50 for £6 😂

Supertrooper101 · 06/04/2024 13:55

@SnookyPook yeah i know what you mean...you dont realise just how many milestones there are tbh...did they mention where your placenta is? That can make a big difference as to how much movement you feel as if its at the front, in theory your babys kicking that not you lol
@Jadeypie defo take some of me with you lol
@Westy22 dont get your hopes up to much with the midwifes, some can be, erm, just there, but not there lol your nausea mite be calm cos your eating loads, eating helps it so you could be easying it without even realising lol
@JM1997 17 for 2 lol sod that....follow the cheap route of amazon lol

Westy22 · 06/04/2024 11:03

Trying to catch up so I'll read through soon guys ha 🙈

Having a right wobble today, weirdly very similar to you @Supertrooper101 I think I've triggered it last night after realising that it was the 11th April when I found I was pregnant last year, then I started over analysing myself and symptoms again...my bowels seem to have calmed right down and slowly feel like there going normal again and nausea is still very sparse, the only change this week is my boobs have started aching a bit again and im still super hungry. Hopefully I'll drag myself out of this mood and the midwife will reassure me a bit on Tuesday - as if I'm moaning for so far having a relatively easy first trimester 🙈🙈

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 10:54

@Jadeypie that is such a good idea! I’ll do that and order some off Amazon, as I currently have ones from my pharmacy just down the road they were clear blue and cost bloody £17.00 for two!! I can’t be affording that every time!!

Sez281 · 06/04/2024 10:50

Jadeypie · 06/04/2024 10:33

@Sez281 I know I was only off for 12 days before it started again how is there even enough lining to shed away?? Anyway I'll be taking the @Supertrooper101 approach and be demanding I need answers for my crazy hormones haha xx

😂 we all need a bit of the @Supertrooper101take no shit approach! 💪 hopefully something just needs a little tweaking like meds etc and it will all get sorted soon because 12 days between is so awful. It only happened to me once, I'd go crazy if it was all the time 🤯 keep us updated x

@JM1997 oh we have all been there countless of times with the testing haha! If it helps you get through the waiting game then order some cheap ones off Amazon xx

Aww I'm sorry to hear that you're in the shit anniversary zone. It's so hard not to replay what happened in those hours and days 😢. And it's even stranger now being in the position we are. Allow yourself to be sad, hopefully when it passes you feel a sense of peace and be able to move forward while also not forgetting x

I know, who forgets their scan pic! I think the consultant flustered me a bit, one day I won't fear her 😂 My nausea has become less frequent, don't know if it's the meds she gave me or the fact that I'm 13+2 today. I decided to stop taking fybogel or lactolose and of course I was crippled again so I think I have to continue taking it every day until god knows when! The joys! 🙈😂

Oh @SnookyPook you poor thing being in that in between limbo of movements. I don't have any experience but I'm sure that's quite normal for your dates? I'm going to have to remind myself of this when I no doubt start spiralling in a few weeks 🤯 I hope they get more frequent and more defined for you soon xx

@Jadeypie oh ffs 8 days and it's only just proper started. That's such a pain! I'm glad to hear that you're back to the endocrinologist in May but agree that you should definitely get it all logged with the GP next week too. Hope you get some answers soon xx

That first section is as meant for you @Supertrooper101 which I'm sure you gathered but just in case!

@Jadeypie thank you so much! You all seem so lovely. Honestly it is like a waiting game waiting to test!! Thank you hun, I’m trying so hard to not test everyday!!

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 09:55

@Supertrooper101 it really is isn’t it! I’m symptom spotting so much!! I’ll try and distract myself though!

Jadeypie · 06/04/2024 09:51

@xxcxdonxx yayyyy congratulations I get the worry but I'm so happy for you!!

Well, I'm still on af! Spotted up till af was actually due then full blown, so now I'm actually on day 8 it's slowing down. It's more like old stuff, but yeh I think we can all agree I have another issue going on and I don't think it's the pcos! I've not managed to get an appointment, so I will try on Monday. I do have a follow up with the endocrinologist in may. But I think I need to have a good sit down with the gp and go over medication see if thes the right dose ect.

@Paws4thought I totally get that feeling because I feel like I cba anymore either!! But there is a part of me that's like don't give up but when is the time to give up and leave all the stress of it behind? I duno.

@JM1997 welcome to our lovely group! Best ladies around these lot! keep you sane when your being a ttc crank 🤣🤣 half way through the trenches of the tww your nearly there xx

SnookyPook · 06/04/2024 09:45

@Supertrooper101 oh bless you, well done for getting through it. My date is coming up (15th April) and it's been playing on my mind too. I've been feeling weirdly kind of superstitious about getting past it with this pregnancy still ok too if that makes sense?!

I'm driving myself mad at the mo longing for more movements. I'm sure I'm feeling them occasionally but not enough to completely put me at ease. Think I'm in a bit of a weird place mentally ATM and trying really hard to keep positive.

Supertrooper101 · 06/04/2024 09:37

@JM1997 hellllooooo... sympton spotting is awesome isnt it and.......it never goes away lol i would say try and distract yourself but we all know on here that nothing really works lol
@Sez281 been a bit of a shitter week in the head as its a year this week i had the bad news then the procedure 🙁... havent been really sure how to process it tbh... but..... i know am not alone lol as if you forgot your picture 🤣... well under all the gas and bloating and extra stone ive put on, i think i felt a bump. Been checking every day for weeks waiting for it to 'pop' like google says 🤬 lol but when they listened in yesterday it was the place where i fort it felt it so must be moving on up lol am completley lost at how far you are or will be tuesday..... 13 or 14 ? Lol.hows the sickness now? Ive just got a really expensive relationship with rennie and fybogel still. Found bananas help too with the acid.... and the bowels, well, bloody leave em to it lol

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 09:01

@Sez281 I am so sorry that it was loses that brought you together but it really sounds like you’ve all supported each other through everything which I think is so lovely. Thank you for the insight as well, I’ll make sure I don’t get my hopes us as you like you said it could take up to a year! Fingers crossed it happens this year 🤞🏻Good luck with your private scan on Tuesday as well, let us know how it goes ☺️

JM1997 · 06/04/2024 08:59

@xxcxdonxx thank you so much for letting me know when you saw a positive. I have 3 days until I’m 11dpo. I’m trying so hard not to test and to put it to the back of my mind, but it is so bloody hard!!

Sez281 · 06/04/2024 08:17

Welcome @JM1997 I think @SnookyPook has explained it well. ( I can't believe we're almost at the year mark on this thread) Unfortunately it was losses that brought us all together😢. For some of us it's been a very long road of trying again since then and some people are still trying.
You could be really lucky first time but I would suggest maybe don't get your hopes up too much as I think for most healthy couples with no issues it can take up to a year. We've all been there with the symptom spotting too it really messes with your head! 🤯 Fingers crossed for you this cycle, not long to wait now!

@Supertrooper101 I'm booked in for a private one on Tuesday. I actually forgot to take my scan pic from the 12 week one so hopefully we'll get a good one this time 😂 Although obviously my nerves will be gone by then and all I really care about is that everything is going ok 🤞
How are you feeling? You must be getting a bit of a bump now? Maybe that'll make it feel real? 😂

@xxcxdonxx that's interesting, I know it was the progesterone for me but I definitely think that the conceive plus worked too 🤔 I think as others have said how that you know about the sticky blood thing and they'll monitor you there's every chance of it all being ok 🙏

@Paws4thought so sorry that you're still in limbo. I totally get what you mean too. It really messes with your head the happy/fear combo even when you do get good news😕

@Jadeypie I hope your messed up cycle has resolved itself, and if not that the doc has seen you or that there's a plan xx

Thanks @JM1997 and welcome 😊

Similar to snooky, I don’t think I really had any symptoms this time around. Nothing that made me feel certain I might get a bfp anyway. From both my successful and unsuccessful pregnancies I would say that symptoms vary so much. Sounds like you’ve only a few days left before you would be able to test anyway, I’ve normally seen a positive from 10/11dpo. Good luck!

JM1997 · 05/04/2024 21:56

@SnookyPook thank you so much for taking the time to welcome me, and to give me a background of the group. I love that you’ve all supported one another through everything and that there have been successes!
Thank you for sharing your symptoms as well!
At the moment I’m 7dpo, but really trying to not symptom spot, but it is so hard, like tonight my boobs seem more inflated than normal, and I’m already unpicking why 😂

SnookyPook · 05/04/2024 21:45

@JM1997 welcome 😊 So, as you may gather from the title etc, us oldies on the thread all met up around this time last year due to sadly all having losses around this time of year. Since then we've got each other through lots of ups and downs. We've had 3 rainbow babies born to the group, a few more losses and thankfully recently a spate of BFPs which appear to be sticking too 🥰

In answer to your questions I'm currently 21+4 after 3 losses last year and this time I didn't have any symptoms before my BFP - I wasn't tracking that cycle as I was planning a break from it all when this little one decided to surprise me! Previous pregnancies, things I spotted in tww (always after 8dpo) included cramping, achey/heavy boobs, gassiness, increased appetite.

JM1997 · 05/04/2024 19:13

@xxcxdonxx omg congratulations!!
Keep us updated as to how it goes!
Could I ask what symptoms started showing before you got the positive??

JM1997 · 05/04/2024 19:08

@Sez281
I am new here!!
Can I join in with the conversation please??
I am 7dpo, and it is the first month of trying, and oh my goodness the symptom spotting I am doing!!
I am due on next week, fingers crossed for no period next week, but who knows! I have been having cramping at the start of this week, nausea in the mornings, extreme exhaustion, I feel like I keep forgetting things like yesterday morning I was getting ready for work and started putting my pyjamas on!!
I did a test though yesterday because I couldn’t help myself and it came out as negative, so I think I’ll be trying again next cycle!
How is everyone getting on??

Paws4thought · 05/04/2024 19:01

@xxcxdonxx hopefully this one will go to plan for you! :)
