@jt130593 I've been ttc since July caught twice and mc both at around 6 weeks had mva both times and retained product with second, this is my first cycle since 2nd mc. Haha cheap tests are the way forward. Was this your first pregnancy?

@Supertrooper101 good point about the spotting see what other bloods they can check for that. I know these next bloods I'm getting for the crohns and celiac there's one for thyroid in it too. But the ap will be getting brought up al just say to him look at the state of that hahahha 😂 xx

@Paws4thought well hopefully these bloods can shed some answer and yes I hope they will monitor you better now too xx

@jt130593 loads of cheap ones from Amazon if you need to test early haha. Ttc just makes you crazy so nothing is off limits in this group haha ranting, symtom spotting, early testing and messed up hormones hahah

My background short and sweet.... 31, son age 3 had a ectopic in feb/march 23 been trying ever since but I have pcos and messed up cycles. Currently on metformin to try and help and that's it for now just plodding along with all these lot to keep me sane. Xx

@Paws4thought @Jadeypie well its my first week back at work since my TFMR so that might keep me busy! Going to try and wait till AF is late but know that probably won’t happen haha

@Supertrooper101 thank you, definitely feeling more relaxed! Hopefully cycle will go back to normal so peak is easier to find this time :)

@Paws4thought the wobble you had must have kicked af out haha. Plsd your back to normal and got your bloods booked, hope your more relaxed now x
@xxcxdonxx it dosent make sense as like you say, you got two young ones already so why all this. I suppose if you did want to keep trying, after nxt week maybe you will get proper help, tests etc, if you wanted them ofc x

@Jadeypie maybe to see how you have been getting on, and youl have to tell them youve already had to upp your dose lol use the app to get something for the spotting too. Infact use it for anything and everything haha

I always cave and test early in tww, only advise I've got is try to keep busy :)
@Jadeypie ah I see, at least your af seems to start consistently. Hopefully they'll be able to tell you something helpful, June isn't too far away now.
Bloods are to check thyroid etc see if anything obvious causing miscarriage I think. I'm hoping it'll mean they'll monitor me closer next time

@jt130593 tww is a killer tbh!! We all hate it. Only thing I can advise is keep busy plan things to keep your mind from constantly thinking!! I would say don't symtom spot but that's impossible. Just go with the flow and hope it goes quick haha. I always have a good glass of wine if af arrives and onto the next cycle xx

@Paws4thought I'm 10dpo today spotting is very light only when I wipe but be like this for two days then af will start fully! What are your bloods for next week? Xx

I've received my appointment for the endocrinologist in June little wait like but glad it's been made not really sure what the follow up is for coz we now no I have the pcos xx

I’m trying to catch up with everyone’s stories but can see there’s been 4 threads so might take me some time 🥲

My first question, has anyone got any tips to help cope with the TWW? I didn’t have this last time as he was a surprise, my period was just a few days late, I felt weird in a way I can’t really explain, and cried at everything so I kind of knew. So this is the first TWW I’ve had to go through and I’m already finding it difficult!

@xxcxdonxx so sorry you're still in limbo, I hope the week goes quickly for you and although I think its right to think the worst I'm still hoping there might be a positive outcome. As the others have said maybe let yourself have a break before making any decisions.
@Jadeypie sorry to hear AF is on her way, how many dpo were you?

AF has arrived properly for me now and I've got bloods booked for next week 😀 hopefully can keep the positive for a while now!

I did ask the sonographer @SnookyPook if there was any chance that I would come back next week and things look more positive and she did say she would be very surprised. I knew as soon as she said that she’d need to do an internal scan it wasn’t good news as by this stage an external scan should show everything I would imagine.

It is unfair @Sez281, the not knowing why is hard for me too especially when we have two already.

@Supertrooper101 yeah I kind of knew what to expect going into it but just hoped I was wrong. We had said before that this would be our last chance, I just can’t keen doing it to myself, feels like life has just been on hold.

@Jadeypie we hadn’t actually told anyone yet so that’s one of the worst bits having to break bad news.

I had a TFMR in March as our baby boy was really unwell. I let myself have one period and then we TTC in my recent fertile window. I’m only 2 or 3 DPO and finding it tough.

With our first he was a surprise, and once we got over the shock we were so excited and so ready. So this is the first time I’ve ever tracked ovulation etc, also did it because I just wanted to get some understanding of what my cycle is like after my TFMR!

@xxcxdonxx i suppose its good you half expected that 🙁.. but not to wait another week tho. Just live how you want to live this next week...i.e...drink what you want lol did you already make a decision that this would be your last try?

@xxcxdonxx I'm so very sorry to hear this, and also that you are still having to be in some kind of limbo for a bit longer. That is always extra cruel when you just want to know clearly whether there is hope or not. You seem to feel pretty certain that there isn't going to be good news next week so I'm sending you a massive hug and whilst I'm keeping absolutely everything crossed I appreciate where you're at and why. I sometimes wish they would just be more definitive with what they tell us in such scenarios.

I'm really so very sorry that you are having to go through this (again), and particularly with thinking this was probably your last attempt. Now is not the time to make any big decisions though so take your time to grieve and regroup.

Hey everyone, bit of a bleak update from me unfortunately. Had my scan this morning and while there has been growth since last time, it’s not where I should be at this stage. There was no heartbeat etc. and I should be 8 weeks by now so should be seeing much more.
As there has been some growth, I’ve to keep taking my medication and go back in a weeks time when they should be able to make a call on it for certain. All seems a bit cruel and pointless as it’s pretty certain that it’s another miscarriage.
This was probably our last attempt as well so it’s all just a bit sad that’s it’s ended this way 🙁

I read that any first blood is a shift in hormones which should count as the lp....but...others say a full day of bleeding is the 1st day, oh and coming on at nite time dosent count 🤣 bullshit int it. Some are told spottings normal orhers get given sumat for it ... pot luck lol

@Sez281 i dont know all this resting heart rate etc, not sure id like a watch like that haha my girl on the other hand is...and records hers ha.. just been thr all the testing with her ecg etc. I have iron overload, seems she has too. But ecg was fine 🙂... when are they going to review your results? Bet you cant wait to do one can you 🤣
@Paws4thought its shit all the worry.. have you had a period since the last mva then or will this be the first? Thing is, even if you called a dr or anyone, they probably tell you to 'wait' .. i would call someone anyway if it dosent come by the end of the week.

Af is on her way so I'm out! I did have abit of hope but it's OK it is what it is. Next up is these bloods to finally get to the bottom of things.

Question....if I start spotting at 10dpo then get af fully on 12dpo does that mean my lp is 10? Or 12? Xx

@SnookyPook aww I love the fact use pass stuff it's going to be so cute seeing your new baby wear your big baby's stuff. I'm gutted I never kept any of my sons I gave them all to my friend apart from his first little outfit. I've kept his cot tho that's stored away. Xx

@Paws4thought sorry you're having a wobbly. Hopefully it's just that everything is still normalising after all you've been through. Have you any further appointments coming up?

@Supertrooper101 well, I'm 25wks tomorrow! 😲So think my Trust do it anytime around 24/25.

@Sez281 yeah I'm starting to feel a bit panicked that we've not done more prep... Haha. We did have lots of stuff left but things like the car seat and pram etc I think we might need to replace as they've been through a few house moves, stored in garages etc and bit damp. We're sorted on the clothes front! Me and my Sis have been passing things back and forth for the last few years and she sent me a pic of about 8 boxes full of baby clothes ready to come back my way 😂 Although they are the fun bits anyway and I do want to get little man a few new bits all of his own 🥰 Were also moving my son into a big boy room and I want to do up that and the nursery... But a bit overwhelmed at getting started!! So... Yeah, in some ways it's fine. I know from experience that actually new babies need very little and in reality the nursery doesn't need to be perfect until they're at least 6 months old anyway etc... but in other ways, I'm definitely feeling the urge to nest and get on top of everything. It's nice to be at this stage though! I barely dared hope early on that we'd be at this point.
