Sorry ladies just catching up after crazy week or so.

@xxcxdonxx wow that sounds like an information loaded few days! I'm really glad to hear that it wasn't a molar and you can Ttc straight away (if you want) but I also understand how frustrating it must be not to have answers 😣 x

@Paws4thought hope you're doing ok? You're probably coming back into fertile window soon?

@SnookyPook how are you getting on? Are you on Mat leave now? I hope you're managing to get some rest between checking pram and last minute bits!

@Supertrooper101 you must be in the proper buying stuff/nesting mode now too?

@Westy22 wow I'm 4 weeks ahead and only starting to "see" movements on the outside in the last few days, just goes to show that everybody is different. I have definitely put on too much weight and am eating way too much ice cream (my GD test next week 🙈)

@Jadeypie it sounds like you're having a lovely chilled summer not stressing over ttc. Hopefully that and throwing the kitchen sink at it next cycle works, either way it sounds like you're in a great headspace x

No news with me, covid floored me and I've spent the last few days catching up in work🤯. I've totally checked out mentally to be honest. I'm the only person trained to do what I do and they don't seem pushed getting somebody in to replace me so I've decided to stop getting stressed over it because if they don't care why should I 🤷‍♀️ Hoping to get back over to Spain in a couple of weeks for our last break but willl decide closer to the time of I feel ok and if I get go ahead from consultant. Just so bloody sick of this weather 😣

Thanks @Supertrooper101 , consultant actually called me to tell me that it’s not a molar pregnancy now. I’m pleased as it’s less complications but would have been good to have some kind of answers. So now back to not knowing what’s caused it.
How are you doing anyway? You can’t have long to go x

Supertrooper101 · 03/07/2024 07:59

@Westy22 dont weigh yourself lol worry about that after! And like you said, it has gone on yiur belly and you can now see him her move, so the extra pounds cant be that bad. Domt do it to yourself and just enjoy lol
@xxcxdonxx and @Jadeypie its about time you two got some proper support, appointments and answers! Someone had a molar on another thread and it seems the usual scenario...different practise different advice. Be good tonsee what the results come back as though so am plsd they have taken this one seriously.
@Jadeypie think with your boy being ill too, the laid back approach is what you needed at that time anyway 🙂..

xxcxdonxx · 02/07/2024 11:10

Thanks @Westy22 , it would be good to have some kind of explanation for this most recent mc but wouldn’t explain the others. I’m not actually sure if they were able to test my second or not but I should check that out. We’ve not tried this month, was really weird to see peak lh and not do anything about it. I’m hoping I’ll have the results by next month so I know where I stand. I’m really not sure if I can wait 6 months though, it just feels like a successful pregnancy is getting further away and I worry about age gaps and just life generally moving on.

It’s lovely and a bit strange to see the baby moving from the outside. Funny to think of them rolling around in there 😍
I wouldn’t worry too much about weight gain, pregnancy is tough going and you deserve something nice when lots is off limits! I put on at least 3 stone both times when I was pregnant, pretty sure that’s over what is ‘healthy’ but just how my body coped!

A relaxed approach sound good @Jadeypie and hopefully your meds are doing the trick. Good luck for the next cycle 🤞🏻

Jadeypie · 01/07/2024 12:03

Hi everyone ☺️

I think I ovulated later this cycle I duno if my med being higher have altered it abit but I havnt been using any opk. Just waiting for af to show then think I'll be doing a @Sez281 and throwing the kitchen sink in for next cycle haha I've enjoyed my relax approach tho and it's been so so refreshing not even thinking about trc. Lovely to see everyone's updates and it's crazy how far along use all are already!! @SnookyPook whens your due date again? Your the first to welcome little fella rnt you? @xxcxdonxx I'm glad you've got sort of a answer to go by are you going to wait the 6 months? Or leaving it down to nature? @Paws4thought how are you doing? @Westy22 best decision was not finding out! I did have a scan where the nurse said this little lady and I was convinced he was a girl hahah also I had a terrible sweet tooth with my boy cakes mostly the sickly the better hahah xx

Westy22 · 01/07/2024 09:03

Hey @xxcxdonxx
I'm glad your finally getting answers and they are actually looking into reasons for you. I'm not very clued up on molar pregnancy, how do you feel about waiting the 6 months or will you see what's said in July as the advice may be different? As you say if you've had a period then to me that suggests your hcg has dropped to 0 anyway. I know it's probably crap having to wait atleast till you have the results but atleast there may be some answers as to why at the end of it xx

I'm stillll fighting the last reminants of this cold, feels like it comes and goes atm. 22 weeks today and it feels very surreal, I can actually see baby moving now from the outside rather than just feel which is bizarre but helps reassure me,I think baby is also no longer bum down sat on my bladder so that's good 🤣 made the stupid mistake of weighing myself this morning and now I'm worried I've gained too much weight...not for vanity reasons more based on"healthy" pregnancy weight guides, I don't feel like I've changed much its all belly but I may have to review the amount of sugary snacks/ice cream I'm eating 🐷🤣 the sugar cravings are intense. X

Hope everyone else is OK? Xx

xxcxdonxx · 30/06/2024 22:43

Hi @everyone, how are you all? There’s lots i haven’t caught up on here.

Little update from me is that I had a call from the consultant earlier in the week for my results from pathology and genetic testing. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to do the genetic testing as there was maternal tissue in there too but pathology suggests that it might have been a partial molar pregnancy. So, they have sent the pregnancy for investigation (there is only one in Scotland) and the earliest I should expect to hear back is mid July. If it is a partial molar then I’ll need to have regular urine tests to check my
hcg is down to zero but I’m quite optimistic that that’s the case already as I’ve had my period and my peak lh yesterday.
The consultant said that it’s advised not to try for 6months but on reading other threads here that doesn’t seem to be the same
advice.
Anyway so TTC is on hold for me just now until I get the results. A very different Tww for me!

SnookyPook · 26/06/2024 08:09

@Westy22 I still don't feel sorted and been told he'll be here within a month! Still a chance he could be a little earlier too. Just can't make it feel real!! One of the ladies in my due date group has just had her waters go at 34wks too and two if my nieces came then so I really need to get my sh*t together!! I think I have everything we'd need for imminent arrival but not checked condition of pram yet etc and need new mattress for cot/next to me. 😩

Supertrooper101 · 26/06/2024 08:02

@Westy22 nar my boy was dinky at 6lb.. girl around 7.10. .... my kids have constant coughs, never ill until this year either 🤬.... exactly the same as you re buying stuff. And when i did, id get a scare, like getting told one has measles or me with a rash. Right mind fuk !

Westy22 · 25/06/2024 21:03

Ah I'm back now @Supertrooper101 so enjoying the weather here..although it's much better when your sat by a pool 🤣 do you usually have large babies? I've got a feeling when they start measuring my belly they will say I'm big 🙈 it's really popped out but I think it's lack of stomach muscle holding it in tbh 🤣

@Sez281 hope your feeling better, I've still got a cough/blocked nose driving me insane and I've given it the OH. Glad baby is moving lots for you though, I had a day of little movement yesterday and started to get anxious but it's definitely reassured me today all is well...even the OH got a good kick 🥰

Anyone else struggling with committing to buying anything lol its so weird I literally look at things and then think ill just wait a bit longer 🙈 thought I would've gone wild by now x

Supertrooper101 · 24/06/2024 15:56

@SnookyPook less than a mth wow..thats crazy! Seems my area do do bloods at 28wks, iron and blood type....again lol said my belly was measureing off the chart so sent me for a scan, had my consultant appt today anyway so timed well. Seems to be the opposite to you and slightly larger than average 🤷‍♀️..
@Sez281 thats shitty timing but good that shes been moving more now tho... my boys rash cleared up. There unsure what it was. Av a random rash on my hands tho which ofc, they dont no what it is 🤦‍♀️... asked 4 ppl too lol
@Paws4thought think it was snooky that said that saying 🙂 good that your feeling ok about things.@Westy22 forgot youbwere away...... just when were having our week of summer too lol

SnookyPook · 24/06/2024 14:46

@Paws4thought aw yes indeed! Hopefully this will be your LMP date!! Great that AF looks more normal too, hopefully means your cycle has properly normalised and all ready to go!!

@Sez281 aw no! Sorry you're feeling so rotten but great that little lady is doing her best to reassure you! Hope you feel loads better soon!!

Feeling very surreal today - 33wks and I've realised that means little man should be here within a month! 😬😄 Cannot believe we're at this point! I've got 3 days left to work - tomorrow and then Mon/Tues next week!! Can't wait - head is totally not in it anymore! Still not really feeling prepared 😂 Growth scan Friday so hoping he's plumping up still.

Hope you're all ok xxx

Paws4thought · 24/06/2024 12:39

@Sez281 that's typical when you've gone to the effort to get ready, glad youre started to feel better and baby is reassuring you too!!
@Westy22 I can imagine a little party going on every time you eat ice cream 🤣

Af arrived so back to the start, seems more normal compared to last couple of months tho so I'm taking that as a positive and I think I remember @SnookyPook saying a while ago to think of AF as potentially the first day of a new pregnancy so I'm hoping that'll come true this time :)

Sez281 · 24/06/2024 12:21

@Westy22 yeah there's only so many mocktails and soft drinks you can stomach 🙈

I had lovely plans for the weekend, shaved my legs and put on some fake tan for the first time in months to go to our local street festival and enjoy the weather. Murphy's law had different plans for me as I never got to go because I ended up with Covid. it's a really bad dose too so I'm completely bed bound with high temp and aches and pains 🤒 I'm still sick but seem to have hopefully turned a corner today and am luckily getting lots of baby movements. It's like she knows I'm worried so is reassuring me! 🙏

Hope everybody else got to enjoy the sunshine xx

Westy22 · 22/06/2024 12:08

Lovely to hear from you @Jadeypie and glad your in a more positive place and theres things planned in 🥰

There's still time @Paws4thought everything crossed for you.

@Sez281 ah I bet that was scary with the movements, baby is clearly very comfy in there 💓 understand why you would panic tho.

Ah it's been a lovely chilled break but I have got a bit of a cold/infection..voice keeps going 🙈 I'm persevering tho and once I'm outside rather than in AC I feel better. I'm so over mocktails too lol there's only so much fruit juice and syrup I can take 🤣 Baby is moving so much now and getting into a bit of a routine of activity (I know they say don't track until a bit later) it loves a good ice cream..goes wild🤣

Sez281 · 22/06/2024 09:04

@Jadeypie that's amazing, I love hearing that about proactive gynaecologists 💪 All those tests are really good ones. And just FYI I know a lot of ladies that have conceived within 3 months of the blockages scan (including me) don't know if it's a coincidence or not but great that you're having it. Also it's the best mindset to try chill now that it's out of your hands and focus on family stuff and enjoy the summer 😎 xx

@Paws4thought those niggly feelings would have gotten me thinking positive too. Hopefully it was just too early but either way it sounds like your body is ready and back to normal now 🤞 xx

@xxcxdonxx how are you doing?

@SnookyPook hope any recent appointments have gone well!

@Supertrooper101 hope the rash has eased off and you've no more weird stuff going on!

@Westy22 hope you're lying by a pool somewhere sipping a mocktail! 🍸 😂

I'm just plodding away trying to distract myself as much as possible. Had a bad day Thursday with very little (practically nothing) movement wise. After deciding to go get checked that night of course she started to wiggle just as we were getting in the car 🙈 It's so hard finding the balance between listening to your body and trusting it but also acknowledging that they could just have changed position or be having a lazy day in there 🤷‍♀️😂

OP posts:
Supertrooper101 · 22/06/2024 08:39

@Jadeypie that sounded like a really good appointment, after so long to get the right help and attitude must feel good and you can relax now because you know you have that lot coming up 🙂 are they testing your partner too?
@Paws4thought you never know 🙂 have you done anymore or waiting on tomorrow?

Paws4thought · 21/06/2024 13:46

@Jadeypie ah that's all very positive and moving in the right direction! How is your little boy now?
@SnookyPook oh there's still hope then 🤞 hopefully he will have growth spurt for you before next week then :)

SnookyPook · 21/06/2024 09:27

@Paws4thought aw I'll keep everything crossed for you - I've never had early positives so you never know... Hopefully a late implanter!! 🤞🏼 Next growth scan is a week today ☺️

@Jadeypie oh that sounds hopeful! Glad you've got an enthusiastic gynaecologist and that things are starting to get moving. Hopefully will lead to a healthy rainbow bean before too long. 🙏🏼

@Supertrooper101 think 28wks is just a normal midwife appointment in my Trust 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jadeypie · 21/06/2024 08:56

Morning everyone, sorry I've not been around! Just a lot going on family wise. I will have to go back and catch up!!

I'm entering my fertile week, I think. I have been referred to the fertility specialist finally! My gynaecologist was lovely and said his mission is to get me pregnant, haha. I'm waiting on a scan to check for any blockages, and I have day 2 and day 21 bloods to have as well, so I feel like it's going in the right direction. Just need to get my bmi under 35, which won't take long at all for the meds they give. I think it's clomid? In the meantime, I'm not tracking, not actively trying, and just enjoying some me and family time xx

Paws4thought · 21/06/2024 07:28

@SnookyPook that's great that little man has grown, hopefully he might speed up a but so he can stay put a little longer! When is your next scan?
@Sez281 glad everything looked good on the scan, sounds like she's a good size :)
@Westy22 right in the middle of the scale must be good! Bet you can't wait to find out the sex, it'll be a lovely surprise, I've always thought I wanted to know the sex but the surprise seems good too.
@Supertrooper101 how are you feeling now? Did you find out what the rash is?
@xxcxdonxx that's good AF arrived quickly at least you know where you are now :)
@Jadeypie hope you're OK!

I'm 12dpo today and did a test which was negative, not completely out til Sunday but I would have expected a faint line today. I convinced myself this was my month cause I've had the most random dreams every night and little pulling sensations similar to when I've been pregnant too.

Supertrooper101 · 18/06/2024 14:33

Wonder what the 28wk ones are then? Any idea @SnookyPook lol actually, think she said another iron one... so no not been offered a diabetes one ha

xxcxdonxx · 18/06/2024 11:42

Lovely news @Westy22 , so glad that everything went well. Looks like you have a very active little person in there!

SnookyPook · 18/06/2024 10:30

@Westy22 it seems to vary from Trust to Trust. Mine only do it if you have risk factors so I've not had one. Loads of women in my due date group have just had them routinely though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sez281 · 18/06/2024 09:41

@Westy22 I think the diabetes tests depends where you are. I'm on both UK and Ireland WhatsApp groups and it totally varies. They are done automatically here if over 35yo or over 30 BMI. Luckily it's a really early appointment so hopefully the fasting won't be too tough as I tend to have to eat something small within an hour of waking still 🙈 She's measuring 637g (1.3lbs) which is just about average I think. She was similar to yours at my 20w scan, they take a massive growth spurt then 🥰
