I went to reply and you were right, the thread was full so I couldnt post a link to a new thread, also, because it's a new thread it wont give me a prediction to tag when I type a name, so I have just copied and paste the names off of everyone who posted on the very last page of the thread, I hope anyone else can find it OK. Sorry, maybe there is an easier better way... if anyone else can remember extra names and spellings, please tag 🙂

@Ladyinpink1 sorry AF is imminent :( I do like the warning that bbt gives you, though this watch is a bit temperamental with it. I know it seems so hopeless this many cycles in, but if I can do it you can. I feel like every cycle makes us make changes and do things differently that gets us to where we need to be in conception. I know you feel so far away but you're closer than you've ever been.
On the vits... sorry if im going on 😂 How much ubiquinol are you taking? The recommended dose was 400mg - 200 with two meals. But I tried taking 600 (200 x 3 meals) whenever I could remember. That's what MIC Lucy Watson did after a few years of infertility then conceived. I was taking coq10 for ages but only 100 a day. Also 800mg folic acid instead of 400. Very expensive but I had the logic hopefully same money over less time if it works. Hopefully it has this time but consumed by anxiety now the shock has worn off 😅

@HerbaceousPerennial thank you so much - you're definitely right! I missed people too.

@moosey89 hopefully AF pays you a visit soon. I totally get that feeling of just wanting it to be over and move on. I was desperate for that

@UrsulaSings123 the not knowing is deffo the worst part. I found not keeping up with my CD or any tracking, plus keeping as busy as possible distracted me from it and made everything in life a lot better

@Mummysparrow felt for you so much in your post ♥️ I also had healthy baby in 2021 and TFMR in Jan 2023. Hope something happens for you soon - like I said to Moosey, totally get just wanting the pain/sadness to be done and to try again

Mummysparrow · 02/07/2024 09:07

Mummysparrow · Today 09:05
Can I join? I had a medical management for a TFMR on 23rd May so I am nearly 6 weeks post TFMR but only 3 weeks since a negative test. I am still awaiting ovulation or a period ..... Just something to happen. I have had 2 pregnancies and first one resulted in a healthy girl born in 2021. I got pregnant in February with a much wanted baby but discovered at the dating scan that the NT measurement was high which led to to me also finding out that baby only had a single umbilical artery and severe CDH so was unlikely to survive so had to let go off the pregnancy at 14 weeks. Still in the early days of grieving but I am 35 so feel this ticking time bomb and keen to get trying again as I don't know how long it will take 😔

Ladyinpink1 · 02/07/2024 08:30

So frustrating @moosey89 you just want to try again ASAP don't you. Really hope it comes very soon for you so you can ttc again 💜 will ypu try anything new this time around? x

No plans @HerbaceousPerennial ,which I'm happy with because it feels like no stress, hopefully weather will be dry enough for a few bbqs, maybe a day trip.
Are you tracking ovulation? 2 weeks is long, you must be exhausted from that.
My period is due tomorrow and my bbt started to drop today so it's def coming. I knew I wasn't pregnant because I got sore boobs early on (I get them much later in positive cycles) and i had no cramping etc the last few days (again cramping is a early ph sign), but I never tested for the first time ever, and I have to say this was the most relaxing luteal phase! I am very conscious that I am going onto cycle 12 ttc now since my last loss. Never thought I would be here but I'm still hopeful. x
Sorry that ended up being an essay, I just typed while I thought lol x

I'm sorry @UrsulaSings123 pms is horrible especially on holiday, did you test or are you waiting for af? I hope you feel a bit better as the day goes on and you get some lovely weather.
I am 13dpo today, my period will be here tomorrow, so if this ends up not being the cycle for you then we will be cycle buddies x

OP posts:
UrsulaSings123 · 01/07/2024 21:32

I'm 10dpo and this is the hardest part of the month for me. I struggle really badly with pms anyway so to add feelings of loss on top of that is just so difficult. If someone could tell me early in my cycle 'you won't be pregnant this month' I feel like I could cope with it so much better than coping with those feelings just before my period when I feel shit anyway. I'm still on holiday but I feel so rubbish 😥 hope it doesn't ruin the rest of the week.

@moosey89 it's so frustrating waiting for things isn't it. Just feels like wishing time away constantly. TTC has so much bloody waiting around, it's torturous.

HerbaceousPerennial · 01/07/2024 17:16

Ah @moosey89 it’s rubbish isn’t it. I’m sorry AF hasn’t turned up. Here’s hoping it turns up soon. I’ve had my first one post miscarriage but it lasted 2 weeks which is not ideal, hoping it hasn’t delayed ovulation even more than is usual for me. Just feels such a relentless grind eh.

@Ladyinpink1 hope you’ve had a lovely relaxing day! Do you have nice plans for your time off? One of the silver linings of the first MMC for me was getting a bit of time on my own with DH.

moosey89 · 30/06/2024 17:10

5 weeks 2 days post surgery. Waiting for my period to come back is so frustrating. 5 1/2 weeks was how long it took the first 2 times but I've had zero signs it's coming any time soon 😭 all I want is to get my cycle back so we can try again, why is that so much to ask!

Ladyinpink1 · 30/06/2024 15:08

@samilicious oh yes the cramps are definitely a good sign, I remember my first pregnancy I had them so strong (and it was a successful one). That's brilliant no bleeding too. I'm very hopeful for you. Yes please don't leave us🙂
It really can be, so that was very considerate of you. x

So glad you are feeling a bit more normal @HerbaceousPerennial bbq sounds lovely. I'm actually off work soon for a bit and dh too , no plans so looking forward to chill time and it coincides with my fertile time so so hopefully more time for dtd x

OP posts:
HerbaceousPerennial · 30/06/2024 10:34

@samilicious definitely stay on the thread! It’s a bit strange isn’t it, I know I get ridiculously over invested in everyone’s journeys and once folk get a BFP I feel sad to not be able to chat to them about how they’re doing any more. I know this is a TTC thread but actually when I did get my BFP I almost needed folk more, I didn’t feel ready to move on. The grad thread helps, I still lurk on that to see how everyone is doing. But then I think I’ve got to quite a different headspace to where I was after my first loss and that’s maybe why. I find some pregnancies in real life triggering and some fine as well. Honestly I think hot tubs and wine are definitely good conception aids 😂 exercise, and good diet, also help. But less fun! You deserve a run of good luck, hopefully your work situation resolves quickly and you and your DH both find dream jobs.

@Ladyinpink1 i feel a spate of BFPs coming for sure! Sounds like your GP is good, hopefully testing either finds a fixable problem or gives you some reassurance. I’m feeling almost back to normal now and went to a friend’s for a bbq yesterday which was lovely. Have you been up to anything nice?

@13lucy yeah the Professor Reagan book is very useful I think. Big takeaway for me is that just being under a clinic and being looked after (what she calls the TLC treatment) massively increases successful pregnancy rates, even with no medical intervention. It’s a really weird phenomenon and just goes to show how the mind must influence conception. She believes difficulty conceiving and early miscarriage are one continuum. It’s all very interesting! For Tommy’s I just asked them to call me in my email and they did relatively quickly, I was pleasantly surprised. Keeping my fingers crossed you get your negative quickly so you can get some closure, continued positives in this scenario are such a kick in the teeth

@CluelessInLondon thanks, I’ve been keeping an eye on the other thread and pleased things are going well for you! Good to read hopeful stories

samilicious · 29/06/2024 21:01

@Ladyinpink1 I feel ok thank you - apart from really really tired and achey pains almost constantly low low in the pelvis. I didn't have this last time so hoping it's a good sign, more like my only live birth pregnancy. We'll see I guess. I also bled the whole time last time and haven't so far last time / haven't in previous pregnancies. Just walking to the shop to get a 'how many weeks' test or two. Got some strip tests too, bought a CB when we were away. Not sure whether to check line progression on them or not.

If I can do it (and things are ok this time) you definitely will! Glad it's given you hope. Honestly even if it doesn't go right this time I'm just happy I finally got a BFP 😂 didn't want to post the pic because they're a bit triggering aren't they.

Need to stay on here and keep typing because I'm too invested in your journey, and the rest of the gang's to duck out at this point! Will just keep the preg stuff on the DL

13lucy · 29/06/2024 20:58

@Ladyinpink1 it was quite faint so hopefully nothing to worry about (last time I had retained tissue). Will test again a week later and hopefully it'll be negative then.

Ladyinpink1 · 29/06/2024 20:55

I'm sorry, that's horrible being in limbo @13lucy is the test got much of a line? I hope it goes negative for you very soon. x

Ladyinpink1 · 29/06/2024 20:51

@samilicious how are you feeling? Any symptoms so far? That's great you have appointments booked already, very very hopeful things are going to go smoothly for you.
I hope something good comes up for you soon jobwise too xx
awk, thank you for typing that all out, you have done some typing for me over this past year with this and all of the "starts with the egg" info, if I concieve soon, you can have about 27% of the responsibility I think for helping 🤣.
I am still taking the vitamins you recommended (nac, inositol and unbiquinol rather than the onne one).
Will try to exercise more and less sugar too. x

OP posts:
ThelastRolo20 · 29/06/2024 17:38

@samilicious sounds like you really made a lot of positive changes between now and last time! I have everything crossed that it all goes smoothly for you ❤️❤️

samilicious · 29/06/2024 17:04

@Ladyinpink1 so things I did differently this cycle (quite a lot, I was going hard 😅)

  • being way stricter with eating than I have previously, especially around blood sugar and meals (not eating sweet breakfasts mainly or snacking on choc etc before a meal), cutting down sugar. Did slimming world online, lost 4lb but wasn't mega strict doing it every day. Put most of it back on on holiday tbh 😂 but must have done something
  • stopped breastfeeding after 3 years - maybe low estrogen? Though my prolactin and thyroid tests were normal
  • walking way more doing that 60 mile month challenge, trying to spread it out doing a bit every day.
  • second month taking most of the vitamins in the doses from It Starts With The Egg (much higher coq10 and folic acid than I've been taking previously, plus NAC) and a better multi vitamin recommended on their list (Inessa brand)
  • didn't dtd much, literally two or three times and I the one that must have caught was CD10. Also DTD in the morning which is rare for us. This is the only way I ever catch apparently.
  • kept busy doing fun stuff (gigs etc, stuff for me) to distract from ttc. I never usually go out or travel down the road. Drank a few times as well (didn't get mega drunk but merry), plus the odd sunny evening beer/glass of wine. My main aim of progress this cycle was to have an uneventful period where I didn't get too upset and was prepared for it with menstrual cup and emergency choc

Who knows if it will stick, but 2 years since my last BFP where I was not in a healthy place at all with eating, sleep, mental health etc so hoping that means a better outcome this time 🤞🏻 if it doesn't work out, will just get back on it straight away. Main worry at the moment is me and DH not having a job and how that works with mat leave etc 😅

@13lucy impulse purchase sounds like trusting your gut! Must be the right next step for you, hope it all goes ok and the consultant is good. Good news about the ewcm too

@CluelessInLondon literally four weeks to the day yesterday. I was so in denial, 3 days late. Hope you're getting on ok lovely ♥️

@UrsulaSings123 thank you! Hope your break os lovely and relaxing for your little eggs too

@Wise0wl thank you! Lovely to see your name

@moosey89 retraining sounds good, so hard to do as an adult but definitely doable! Students don't pay council tax at least

13lucy · 29/06/2024 15:48

@Ladyinpink1 glad you got somewhere with the GP and that they were supportive. Yes they will be to check your hormones through the cycle and a good starting point. Hopefully you get a BFP soon and don't need any of it!

@UrsulaSings123 my periods got marginally heavier but still nothing compared to what they were pre miscarriage. It didn't seem to matter as I conceived in April and everything was looking ok but had another MMC so just recovering now. Feeling anxious as to what my period will be like when it arrives. How have you been?

Been a mix of a week for me
I still have HCG in my system which showed up on a test the other day which really upset me. That horrible time when you actually want to see a BFN! Starting to get EWCM but can't use OPKs until HCG goes. We've been DTD anyway but I hate being back to not knowing when my cycle will return.

13lucy · 29/06/2024 15:42

@samilicious that's great news! I did another impulse purchase in that I've booked in with a consultant for next week. I think having a plan in place will make me feel much better! Went for somewhere fairly local and cheaper for now but they get good reviews. Hoping it at least clears my head, gives me some reassurance and a plan going forward (with a list of tests to take to my GP!).

@HerbaceousPerennial funnily enough she's next on my reading list! That's a good idea about Tommy's. They were useful via email but could never get through when I called. I need to do a lot of prep for the consultation next week so I get the most out of it as it's not cheap!

@Ladyinpink1

CluelessInLondon · 29/06/2024 08:05

@samilicious That is amazing news, so pleased for you! ❤️ How far along will you be at the moment?

Hope everyone else is doing okay, I know there are a few quite recent losses on here so I hope the recovery from those is going as well as it can and that the waiting for periods to come back etc. isn't proving too stressful. @moosey89 Sounds like you've got a lot going on in particular, I'm sorry to hear there are so many health issues in your family at the moment.

UrsulaSings123 · 28/06/2024 22:57

@13lucy did your periods go back to normal? I know you said they were light. I worry about scarring causing problems.

UrsulaSings123 · 28/06/2024 22:54

I'm really pleased that spurred you on to contact the GP @Ladyinpink1 . Yes I think the day 5 & 21 tests are to check hormone levels are normal and you're ovulating. Also to check lh isn't too high early and late in the cycle, which can indicate PCOS.

@samilicious congratulations that's wonderful news - I kept checking in as I knew it would happen at some point! I was in Woolacombe and now in Kingsbridge in Devon until Sunday. I'm due on thurs so hoping I will have similar good holiday luck. But been quite poorly this cycle and still not recovered totally so doubt it for this month.

Ladyinpink1 · 28/06/2024 18:56

@13lucy it's so tough and still so fresh for you. Thank you and also @UrsulaSings123 because of our chatting I rang the GP , and I got a callback quite quickly after and he was brilliant, he was very understanding and said he had been through a similar thing so I am booked in for MORE tests lol. But happy he took me seriously, so it's for progesterone on day 6 and 20 I think it will be which I have never had done before and he said he will put in tests for a few other things too that are done as standard with it, but I didn't pick up exactly what as was on my way into work.
I feel like I definitely ovulate Is that what the test is for or just to check the levels?
Well I take a vitamin d that 100% works as one of my blood tests showed a really high level of it in my system, happy to pm you the link if you like x

@HerbaceousPerennial aw your boss sounds so lovely! That was very kind and thoughtful, yes I rang and got tests for progesterone and some other things too, thank you. Have you any nice plans for your weekend? x

Aww congratulations 🎊 @samilicious this gives me hope as I know you have waited as long as me, i can only imagine it feels so not real right now? I'm more hopeful for next cycle now after seeing your news.
Tell me everything you did differently! 😅. xx

@samilicious congratulations!! This is wonderful news ❤️

Hello to all of you, sending love and lots of baby dust. I’m especially sorry things sound like they’ve been so tricky @moosey89 x

moosey89 · 28/06/2024 12:16

@samilicious congratulations!! I love seeing good news in this thread, it keeps me going ❤️

And thank you - other half is looking to retrain as office work has made him so unhappy for a really long time, so we're trying to figure out how he can do that financially. A lottery win wouldn't go amiss 🙈

@HerbaceousPerennial thank you, I'd not heard of them so I'll read up and see if they are available where I am in the UK. Just taking one day at a time currently. Finding it really hard when friends with babies are moaning currently about things - they're totally allowed to (and if I do have a successful pregnancy/baby I will reserve the right to moan about all the hard things 😂) but it's hard to see them with what I do desperately want.

samilicious · 28/06/2024 11:47

@moosey89 that's horrible about your gran, and your cat :( my dog got cancer when I was really struggling with ttc last time and it was the final straw that sent me off sick with work. Really hope things calm down soon ♥️ is your other half still looking for a job?

@13lucy the spend is a good motivation to keep at it and make it worth it though! Such a hard thing to decide on. Could you try the recommendations in the books for 3-6 months, then enquire? Changing my lifestyle and supplements has massive helped me. Shocking if they charge more for recurrent loss! The Tommy's idea sounds brilliant @HerbaceousPerennial

Also @HerbaceousPerennial you were right in the hot tub and wine! I think exercising and healthy eating and going out and having fun helped massively too. That 60 mile challenge helped! Plus I raised £300 for Tommy's! Just got to finish it before June ends 😂 very close, 15 miles to go. I'd say the same - and a little challenge like that has been really good for me. Watching tv on the treadmill walking or good audiobook walking around the block. Little dopamine hit for getting a few miles in each time. Progress in the absence of progress elsewhere. Keeping my mind busy in evenings I might start doing housework or scrolling instead and doing something for me - again, less possible when you're busy with a newborn

@ThelastRolo20 thank you! I still feel very much in shock 😂 but rang Fetal Medicine Unit and got advice on what happens next. Got an EPU scan then NIPT all being well at 7/8 weeks to test for the chromosomal abnormality I had last time 🤞🏻 hope you're doing ok lovely xxx

ThelastRolo20 · 28/06/2024 11:34

samilicious · 28/06/2024 09:01

Girls... you're not going to believe this. I have a BFP 🤯 two in fact

Omg! What fantastic news! 👏🏻🎉 How are you feeling?

HerbaceousPerennial · 28/06/2024 10:51

😱😱😱 @samilicious congratulations! That’s wonderful news! Sounds like stopping breastfeeding plus a hot tub is the way to go! How are you feeling?
