I went to reply and you were right, the thread was full so I couldnt post a link to a new thread, also, because it's a new thread it wont give me a prediction to tag when I type a name, so I have just copied and paste the names off of everyone who posted on the very last page of the thread, I hope anyone else can find it OK. Sorry, maybe there is an easier better way... if anyone else can remember extra names and spellings, please tag 🙂

It makes me sad to be one of the few left now too @HerbaceousPerennial . I did join that other group quite a few months ago along side this, but I had found it quite triggering at the time with alot of bfp pictures etc, maybe I will try it again as will be different again now.

Lovely to see all your names ladies, I miss you all! Hope everyone is good, this thread only has a few comments left so we will keep them for our good news hopefully then 😊 x

@samilicious I can’t believe you’re 12 weeks already! I’ve not checked the grad thread in a while, hope you are doing ok, I can only imagine how difficult the screening must have been. I’m rooting for you xx

SnookyPook · 15/08/2024 16:00

Also following still and wishing you all well! Do update when you can 💗

samilicious · 15/08/2024 08:24

Hello! I'm still lurking too

Haven't been on MN much in general because the 12ww/screening stuff has been a bit of a mental rollercoaster 🥲 but still as invested in your journeys as ever

UrsulaSings123 · 14/08/2024 22:48

I am still very invested in your journeys and I'm so sure you will get your BFP's. Please when you do update this thread so we can congratulate you!

HerbaceousPerennial · 14/08/2024 21:29

moosey89 · 14/08/2024 21:05

@HerbaceousPerennial @Ladyinpink1 I joined the TTC after loss thread, think it's ok no5 now! Come on over, there's lots more people there. Unfortunately we do seem to be some of those who are still here longest after loss but we can will each other on xx

CluelessInLondon · 14/08/2024 20:02

I'm still reading and willing you all on too, I so want to see some more BFPs and have you all join us over on the grads thread. ❤️

Wise0wl · 14/08/2024 19:14

@Ladyinpink1 @HerbaceousPerennial I still lurk and keep up to date on here, I’m so invested in your journeys, so let me know where you end up! X

HerbaceousPerennial · 14/08/2024 17:37

I think there’s another TTC after loss thread, I wonder if we all just jump on that one? I’m really glad there are so few of us left but it does make me a bit sad!

Ladyinpink1 · 14/08/2024 17:26

@Mummysparrow I'm sorry you have no more answers today, pink can be implantation... bit then not sure if a test would show up before then... aw it's so confusing. I hope you get answers soon!

Yes most people have got their bfp so not very many of us left on the thread now x

OP posts:
Mummysparrow · 14/08/2024 14:06

Today doesn't make anything any clearer. My cheap tests are negative and I have a very light pink tinge when I wipe so I am wondering if I am out and period is on its way.
I have been in and out of the chat and it looks thin on the ground now. Have most people got their positives?

Ladyinpink1 · 13/08/2024 21:42

@HerbaceousPerennial hoping that the high you have been getting is building to a peak very soon. I get alot of ewcm too so I find it hard to know exactly when ovulation is without other methods. Oh good, glad dh is home and there if you need him lol
That's a good healthy way to feel 🙂
Yes got a hat with another lady, this thread is getting close to full, I know there isnt really many of us left ... should I make another? x

I think I can maybe see something, but I can't tell if there is any colour. I hope it's good news for you and you get a clearer test soon @Mummysparrow x

Hi ladies I hope everyone is ok.
I had blood test done by my GP and everything came back as fine so I have no issues there thankfully so no idea why I had a week long LH peak. I am potentially 11dpo (going by the highest peak) and I have serious line eyes going on. I did a LH strip this morning due to have no cheap tests left and I have a high level on the strip so I did a FRER and I am now seriously confused as I think I see something.

@Ladyinpink1 I did a couple and they were coming back high but not ‘peak’ - but then I get that fairly often anyway. I get a lot of EWCM and DH is back now so keeping my fingers crossed. I’m ovulation symptom spotting like a crazy lady, boobs are a bit sore but then that could also be PMS. Who knows?! I do actually feel really hopeful at the moment, it’s a bit scary but I just feel really ok and it’s lovely. I don’t feel necessarily that I’ll be pregnant very soon, but one day. I think maybe my dad’s wise words have sunk in and given me the perspective shift that I needed. I’m glad you’re feeling hopeful too. Did you get any responses to your 12m+ thread?

@13lucy I’ve signed up for fertility acupuncture, I feel weirdly nervous about it! Hope you are doing ok

Ladyinpink1 · 10/08/2024 14:59

@HerbaceousPerennial oh good, I'm glad we are old together 😂 yes I know what you mean, all of us on here had this whole plan in our heads of ages and timings, and even of our own age when we would be giving birth, then suddenly iour plans were taken away from us and changed and I feel like we are scrambling to try to catch up with our 'plan' but the feeling of no control as the time passes is tough. Oh yay for the spotting stopping! Will you take any opks to check if it's ovulation? Have you had any other changes? I hope your dh isn't away for long.
I lwas overthinking everything last night so naturally came on here lol, I ended up starting a thread for 12+ months ttc to see if I would get some encouraging stories, or company of others in same boat but I got no replies 😂 which hasn't filled me with confidence.

I know what your mum means, mine says to me it will happen all the time but I feel like shouting "i need it to happen now!" Lol. Do you feel hopeful atm? I noticed I felt really hopeful today and I suppose it's good to do that, but I wish I didn't because then the letdown is always worse when AF arrives

Sorry I have rambled a bit there lol x

HerbaceousPerennial · 10/08/2024 14:18

@Ladyinpink1 if it makes you feel any better I’m 37! My mum was trying to be comforting telling me about all the people who’ve got pregnant in their forties so I’ve plenty of time, she meant well but I did snap and point out I don’t want to have my next baby at 43, I want to have it now. Or well preferably several months ago but there we are. My spotting has finally stopped which is making me feel a lot better - however DH is away and I’ve therefore convinced myself I’m ovulating. Glad you’ve got your peak, how are you feeling?

@ExTriTrying I’m 100% with you on the age gap thing, I’m constantly imagining how old DS will be if I get pregnant now, I was so smug thinking I’d timed my perfect age gap before my first loss. But I do see friends with a variety of age gaps and they seem to make no difference at all to how well the kids do or don’t get on. I’m trying to focus on how much I get to enjoy time with him 1:1 still. Fingers crossed we don’t have much longer to wait

Ladyinpink1 · 09/08/2024 19:30

@ExTriTrying it's so hard when things don't work out the way they have in the past, especially when it takes longer than previously.
I understand about dtd too early, we have been doing that alot lately then by ovulation day onwards, we have both have enough, but this cycle we didn't do as much before and it was better. I got my positive opk yesterday and temp rose this morning so if it stays up for next few days then I must have ovulated last night/early hours if today so i'm not far behind you x

OP posts:
ExTriTrying · 08/08/2024 08:55

Thanks @Ladyinpink1 . Also, I realised I muddled this thread up with another, so my apols for radio silence makes little sense! I think I'm just putting a lot of pressure on myself because I really wanted the age gap between DD and "imagined no2" to be smaller, so every month is just one month greater age gap, but I realise there are positives to that, too. DD was conceived first cycle trying as was the baby we miscarried (first cycle after 3 years due to pregnancy/breastfeeding), so I guess I've also been quite naive about how long it can take, and painfully aware I'm a few years older than I was with DD.

Still, of course, obsessing over dates. LH rise started on PM of Aug 1 (DTD), peaked on AM of Aug 2 (DTD), and EWCM CM was lots on Aug 1 and 2nd, and basically gone by Aug 3 (didn't DTD), all suggesting ovulation was either late Aug 2 or early Aug 3. But BBT didn't go up until Aug 5. I have read it can take 2 days though, which would make sense with an ovulation date of Aug 3.

Who knows... hopefully next cycle (3rd post D&C) will be more normal, and can make sure to DTD on surge day and the day after, so I don't spend 2 weeks fretting.

Ladyinpink1 · 07/08/2024 17:23

Thank you @UrsulaSings123 i hope so too. I hope all is well with you x

@ExTriTrying hi, sorry about all the waiting and frustration, we have all said on here at obe point or another that the myth of "you are more fertile right after a loss" just makes it so much harder when it doesn't happen right away. Hoping you dont have long to wait. I'm not sure about your charts as it's dif to what i'm used to, but I have read that dtd before ovulation and having the sperm waiting for the egg is good and you have def done that so in for a good chance. Also your temp will rise after ovulation so whatever morning you do your bbt abd see your temp go up, it means you ovulated the day, or night before x

I'm sorry that date is here for you @HerbaceousPerennial The waiting game is so anoying isnt it, but that sounds really nice just being more relaxed abd dtd whenever, really hopeful that works for you.
I am in a similar position as my last loss started on the 19th August last year and so I keep thinking, how good it would be to have a positive test now a year later... i don't know if you feel the same but with the hope after this amount of time it's hard to imagine as well... if we get a bfp soon we will be so appreciative that's for sure. I feel so old now, I'm technically a geriatric now at 36 😂 any nice plans for the rest of the summer? x

@Ladyinpink1 ah I’m sorry, a new baby in the family is really difficult. Glad you’re doing ok. It’s so frustrating essentially just being able to do nothing but wait. This is about when I conceived my first loss so been trying over a year now and further back than when we started. My tests are all clear too, again good but means I just need to wait too! Still very very faint spotting and so completely at sea cycle wise. Sticking firmly to testing once a week and DTD just whenever we feel like it, it is strangely liberating.

@ExTriTrying it sounds to me like you’ve got a good chance! I’m afraid I’m hopeless on the ovulation vs DTD timing as I only ever have the vaguest idea at the best of times so no useful insights but fingers crossed

ExTriTrying · 05/08/2024 09:36

Hello!

I hope everyone is doing ok, some good news stories and some struggles.. love to all.

Sorry I've been radio silence. It took my 37 days after D&C to ovulate, didn't fall pregnant, and I was feeling a bit low. This cycle it took 30 days... so hopefully on the way to being more normal but it was till a very frustrating 15 or so extra days.

I have a question which probably sounds stupidly obsessive, but I can't stop Googling, so I'm asking.

Usually, my LH surge starts around 10am and peaks about 4pm. This cycle, it started some time around 4pm Thurs (estimate, was "high" by 8pm), and peaked about 7am Friday. I had a lot of EWCM on Weds, Thurs and Fri, it stopped by Sat AM. I also had a series of really sharp twinges approx 9pm on Fri night. Temp has risen a bit, but it always takes a few days, I expect it will go up more tomorrow.

We DTD on Tues, Thurs and Fri, but not Sat, by Sat EWCM was all gone and we were kind of tired having had sex every other day from CD12 (I expected to ovulate around CD17).

Imagine you can see where this is going... was ovulation likely Fri night, or some time Sat?

I see a lot of conflicting info around if conception chance on ovulation day, some seem to say it's low, others say it's the best day.. thoughts, for an obsessive Googler driving herself crazy?

@HerbaceousPerennial that's good she didn't think it looked like there was anything wrong, and that you have a plan going forward. After my MC I thought it would go back to normal straight away, I didn't realise it could take so long. It's so frustrating that it can have such a long lasting effect on our cycles.

@Ladyinpink1 sorry to hear about that, it must have been very difficult. Will you have to see them very often? I definitely think it's worth your DH getting checked out. It takes 2 to tango and if there is something amiss then at least they can try and address it, rather than not knowing. And if everything is fine with both of you then at least you know it will happen at some point. I know I will log on here one day and you will be sharing your BFP, I'm sure of it and I'm holding that hope for you, even if you can't hold it for yourself sometimes.

Ladyinpink1 · 04/08/2024 07:50

@HerbaceousPerennial

Sorry I havent replied until now, a family member had their baby and it was tough feeling for a bit but all good now.
Yes it's good that it's normal but frustrating too. I don't know if there are any next steps for me as I am ovulating and hormones fine so I think it's just a matter if waiting... which I should be great at now haha. Maybe I will ask dh to go to his GP to get checked, although I feel like unfortunately now... it's a case of "it just hasn't happened yet". Thanks for asking xx
That was great to get an appointment quickly and good news too that everything looks good. How long until the swab results are back? It sounds like you got a good GP too with her having a plan in place for a few weeks. How do feel with having that plan etc?
Will you try anything else to balance hormones? x

How is everyone else getting on? x
