AF arrived for me yesterday. Waiting on hormonal test results, trying to think positive and do what I can from my end.

teampacey · 03/03/2024 11:22

@Wednesdaysotherchild fingers crossed for this transfer for you. Must be so tough

teampacey · 03/03/2024 11:21

@Meryemg thanks! The cramps and bleeding had stoped by yesterday morning so we were able to crack on! I'm trying SMEP this month so day off today and then gearing up for Mon/tue/Wed when I'm due to ovulate. I've got to go away for work overnight on Tuesday which is a pita but we'll just have to have an early morning go on Tuesday and late night Wednesday. So spontaneous lol!
I've also got pressed to use this month too but forgot yesterday in the heat of the moment!

Wednesdaysotherchild · 02/03/2024 14:54

Started ttc at 37, still going at almost 42. 15 miscarriages down. Transferring last embryos, I’m almost done now, and on immunes treatment. It works for some, doesn’t for everyone.

Thanks guys. It was this afternoon, it was fine until he pushed the contrast through. I had a massive really painful cramp. He said everything looked clear though and hopefully has flushed out any mucus. He will see me in 4 months if no success before then.
I'm now crampy and bleeding so curled up on the sofa ready to have a Chinese takeaway for tea.
Due to ovulate next week....

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Glad it's all over and all looked clear fingers crosses this month is you're month. Hope the cramp has eased off today x

Morning everyone. I've got my HSG this afternoon- bit nervous as seen various comments about whether it hurts or not. Some say lots and others not at all!

I've never had a hsg so can't help but would like to wish you well with it all.

Sorry to hear you had a bfn at 13dpo but you're not out out till the red lady shows

And good luck to anyone nearing test day x

I’ve been obsessing with the opks and dtd at every given opportunity, but going to try just every 2nd day through the fertile week and see how that goes for us over next few months

susie1984234 · 01/03/2024 06:59

Im 13 DPO today and tested BFN - but we did only DTD once as partner is on holiday. Oh well back to it next month!

MrBigsCat · 01/03/2024 06:56

Happy 1st march everyone
im 8dpo today and will do a test even though it’s far too early!!

Meryemg · 29/02/2024 16:48

I'm 39 and ttc #3, first baby with my second husband. He had a vasectomy reversal Jan 2023 and all our recent tests came back good. We had a chemical last month and I have a HSG tomorrow. Hoping cycle #16 is the one 🤞

BabyBorn · 29/02/2024 16:17

@Meryemg know what you mean! You get so disheartened that you feel like stopping don't you! I haven't got to that point yet as trying to distract myself but if we get past spring and it still hasn't happened then I will start to panic. Hope you are feeling better about things today?! X

Onetwobuckeroo · 29/02/2024 09:40

At 38, we conceived (our surprise) 3rd baby almost immediately after me stopping the pill as it was messing me up. Husband was booked for a vasectomy and stupidly we thought aaaah, it’ll be fine while we waited for the appointment. I thought I’m too old to fall pregnant…. A year later, now proud parents to 3 🤣

Love this what a way to complete the family. How did you feel when you first found out about it? X

@SequinCola I am CD 20 and 5 DPO. Just been to yoga for the first time in around 8 years!! It was hard work but de stressed me and was nice to do something different.

@Meryemg if you need a break I would take one, see if you feel any better whilst you do, we will all be here for you when you return. Flowers

I say I'll miss this month but then csnt help but think what if this is the month so will just see how it goes. Feels like we've tried forever at 8 months now so 2 months at 38 is amazing x

I've 3 kids. The first took a year to conceive and I was 31. The second time, I was 34 and it happened first time. Third baby, I was 38 and it happened second month trying. I'm not TTC (sadly!) but my age didn't seem to have any impact at all.

@Revelatio do you have regular cycles? Have you been scanned to see if everything is ok? No cysts or fibroids or anything else that could be getting in the way? Sounds frustrating. Hopefully you will get a positive soon x

SequinCola · 27/02/2024 23:20

I've got a solid smiley on my ovulation test today. CD 14 but few days earlier than I might have expected. And we're away from tomorrow... Sharing a room with our 3 year old. Not ideal!

Where is everyone else in their cycle?

Awe lots of sticky baby dust your way for this ovulation. İ am currently on my reds and am unsure whether to take a break trying this month I feel like I need a break from the anxiety a late period brings then the upset when she shows weird way to deal with it I know x

@BabyBorn

Yes, I’m very lucky, I have a 2.5yr old. I had an ectopic about 18m ago and not a whiff of a positive since then (had the fertility tests after the ectopic and have both tubes). I have had previous miscarriages before my child.

It’s just very frustrating I’m getting nothing at all. I don’t there is any point contacting my GP as I already have a child.
