Hi ladies... my apps think I am ovulating today so about to enter into the dreaded TWW and thought it might be nice to see if I have any 'cycle buddies' out there!? It would be lovely to see some BFP's on here!! We have been trying for a good few months for our first but have really given it everything this month (we're both sick of the sight of each other now😂). Currently have VERY sensitive nipples but other than that feeling good... had quite bad ovulation type pains the last few days but that has stopped now. x

@Figtree11 I totally get you, the not knowing means there’s still hope. I also find the days between BFN and CD1 the hardest so the less of those there are the better haha

Thank you, trying to stay positive but realistic🤞🏻🙏🏼

Figtree11 · 22/02/2024 19:56

@SophMumBles haha I’ve not always been like this! I like to live with a little bit of hope for a while before crashing back to earth with a BFN 😆

I read your last post about why you are testing on Monday - I would be the same, and I really hope you get a positive result

SophMumBles · 22/02/2024 19:46

@Figtree11 You’ve got incredible will power to wait another week, wish I had that in me 🤣
I had no symptoms until 6+ weeks with mine either but they say every pregnancy is different 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Figtree11 · 22/02/2024 19:33

@SophMumBles I’m not sure, I was thinking of giving it another week yet. Trying to just bury my head in the sand about it haha.

With my first pregnancy that ended in MC I had no symptoms until later on, so I don’t know if I’m over thinking it & these are just non pregnancy related things that are happening!

SophMumBles · 22/02/2024 19:29

@Figtree11 I’d say your symptoms sound promising 🤞🏻 When do you plan to test?xx

Figtree11 · 22/02/2024 18:57

Hi everyone, how are you all holding up?
Not sure how many DPO I am, but have been feeling a bit lightheaded last couple of days.
I have also had a lot of watery CM since the weekend. I’m not sure what this is about? It’s very full on! Also feel normal amount of hungry, but nothing takes my fancy like it usually would.

I don’t want to test yet as seeing the inevitable BFN puts me in a bad place. But I don’t feel like myself either.

Familyfirst12 · 22/02/2024 18:51

@SophMumBles I so so hope this is the month for you, and you see two lines on Monday.
@Herewegoagain0 8dpo is still so early… but I know how many times I have tested around then and been desperate to see literally anything. Test again in a few days, I’ve got everything crossed for you!

SophMumBles · 22/02/2024 13:19

@Herewegoagain0 8DPO is still early! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

MelonSmoothie · 22/02/2024 12:23

It's still very early @Herewegoagain0 - don't give up hope yet!!!

Really hoping for a positive for you @SophMumBles xxx

SophMumBles · 22/02/2024 10:46

@Familyfirst12 Im so hopeful for you! Hopefully your husband is sensing something 🤞🏻You can do it, next Friday will be here before you know it.
I’m testing on Monday… quite early…but I found out I was expecting one week after my friend and she’s having her c section on Monday. When we lost the baby, my husband told me that we would be pregnant before she has her baby to help ‘soften the blow’, so I’m putting all my hopes on this as it’s the very last chance of it being true 🤞🏻 I’ll be testing too early but praying for a miracle 🫠 xx

Herewegoagain0 · 22/02/2024 10:45

Tested this morning at 8DPO and got a BFN. Really hoping it’s just too early…

Familyfirst12 · 22/02/2024 10:28

Hi @Emilyx00 really hoping for 2024 babies for us all! I have never been that active on here before really but finding it so lovely and like a big supportive group chat. It's such a release to be able to vent and chat as most of us won't have too many people around us who know what's going on.

OP posts:
Familyfirst12 · 22/02/2024 10:25

@SophMumBles That's exactly how I felt! I'm going to just try and trust my body and see how we get on. DH seems really excited this month and keeps bringing lovely things up like when we might tell friends and family etc... gosh I really hope it works out the month. I never wait the full 2 weeks!! I wish I could say otherwise but I normally test from around 8dpo. This month though I am not going to test until next Friday (11/12dpo ish) - please hold me to this! When are you going to hold off until? x

Hope everyone is managing to stay distracted, it's soooo hard to not test early isn't it. Also agree with the advice to "relax" it's easier said than done.

SophMumBles · 22/02/2024 09:19

@Familyfirst12 Oh really! Thanks for letting me know that because I’ve been stressing more about it so probably making even more prolactin 😂 Pleased you got some reassurance for another blood test though!
This is why I stopped using NC…I found it confusing and didn’t add up to what I thought was happening! Do you usually wait the full 2 weeks before testing? I got a positive at 8DPO with my first but not until 10dpo with the two I miscarried.

@Emilyx00 Sorry to hear about your loss. Fingers crossed for 2024 baby for you 🤞🏻 xx

Familyfirst12 · 22/02/2024 08:56

Okay so Natural cycles has now predicted that ovulation happened on Sunday, which does line up with temp increase. So NC now thinks I am 4dpo, whereas Flo and pre mom think I am 2/3dpo so god knows when to test!

Familyfirst12 · 21/02/2024 22:08

@SophMumBles I have read that your prolactin can actually read as high from ‘stress’ from collecting the sample. For example, people who struggle with needles etc can have a high reading when their blood is taken at the doctors. So basically, ours could have read as high purely because it wasn’t very pleasant milking our fingers into a tube😂 I definitely wouldn’t pay to do it again… just ask your doctor to run a blood test if you are worried. I feel so much happier now but tbh wish I had never done the Hertility one!

Hi ladies, can I join? Pre-mom says I peaked on the 18th (Sunday). I’ve got pulling on one side today though so I’m assuming I may actually be ovulating today. DP is away for a few days so no sex for me, so hoping that we’ve done enough this cycle if I did ovulate late. I should be due end of June/start of July so I would really like to be ‘bump pregnant’ by then (eg showing!) and would still like to have a 2024 baby. Trying not to symptom spot. How is everyone feeling?

TWW... starting now!
Figtree11 · 21/02/2024 16:17

@SophMumBles thank you, it really is so consuming. I agree about the lack of control - I’ve booked myself in for reflexology soon, to help maybe relax me a bit about the situation

@Familyfirst12 trying to chill is impossible! I have a busy few weeks with work coming up which I am hoping will take my mind off it

SophMumBles · 21/02/2024 15:16

@Familyfirst12 Oh really! I had the same thing, it said my prolactin was quite high but I’m struggling to find any information about how to lower it. Perhaps mine is inaccurate too. I begrudge paying another £149 to have it checked again so I may see if I can get it at the GP too.

It’s so hard to chill about something that means so much to you. Everyone says you have to chill for it to happen, but it’s impossible. I stopped measuring BBT as I felt it was making me more obsessed 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just use the ClearBlue digital ovulation test now.

Familyfirst12 · 21/02/2024 14:46

@SophMumBles that's so interesting that you were confused by your results too. I have had my results back from a blood test at the doctors to look into very high prolactin (reported in Hertility report) which has now been confirmed as okay... so just a pelvic scan in a few weeks to go now. So sorry to hear about your devastating MC's, I can't imagine how difficult that must be for you.

This entire process is so difficult, I feel like I have never wanted for anything so badly and it just feels so unattainable! I don't think my CM was great this month so trying not to get my hopes up, and ovu hasn't yet been confirmed by BBT so trying to just be chill about the whole thing.. and failing!

Looking forward to seeing your test on Friday @Herewegoagain0!

@Figtree11 I totally agree, MC has definitely changed me. I feel so anxious about getting pregnant again incase it happens again too.

Really really hope it happens for you soon, I know how consuming it is. Wish there was more than we could control about the situation

Figtree11 · 21/02/2024 13:21

@SophMumBles i’m so sorry to hear of the miscarriages. It’s so awful. I never realised how a MC can affect you until I had one myself. I’m still struggling with it now.

I’m TTC my first, I’ve been trying since July 23. And one MC in that time. I am feeling desperate to conceive again but nothing seems to be happening

SophMumBles · 21/02/2024 13:09

@Figtree11
I’m trying for #2, when TTC my first, we started the IVF process but I very fortunately got pregnant naturally a week after a HSG test.
We started trying again around Christmas 2022 so a little over a year. Had a MC at 10 weeks in August and again at 5 weeks in Dec. Such an emotional rollercoaster 😔
How about yourself? Have you been trying for long?

Herewegoagain0 · 21/02/2024 13:02

Also trying to hold out testing at 7DPO here! Will probably test on Friday. X
