Anyone else 'on a break' from TTC to avoid a Dec/Jan baby?

We had DD1 on Dec 28 2006 and are planning no. 2 - only been trying a couple of months but debating having a break until May to avoid another December baby (DH has a Dec bday aswell as DD!). Interested to see if anyone else is 'on a break'? I'm due to ov in next few days and am veering towards the sod it lets get pg side of things right now .

Well...DS1 was due in feb but came just after new year

Best laid plans and all that!!

It depends on how long yuo have been trying and if you are happy to wait. I have to say I would think it was 'wasting opportunities' for me

But I am known for my ttc-bullying on other threads so perhaps don't pay me any attention...

Not going to try this cycle (according to dh, anyway) and maybe next as my due date would be Dec 24th - my brother has 27th Dec as a birthday and has always hated it. Both my children have late Jan birthdays so might have to sit out the next cycle as well...
