Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in March 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Feb to March! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Hi all, I'd like to join too!!

Going into round 2 of TTC 1st baby. Now on CD7, period finished Sunday. Premom says fertile period should start on Thursday with ovulation around next Tuesday. Will be tracking with opks again. Got a busy weekend ahead looking after my niece and nephew so will need to find some time for tracking and baby making 🤣 going to start my opks on Wednesday ☺️

RW269 · 19/02/2024 23:19

@Chaz693 sorry to hear about your miscarriage! :( got my fingers crossed for you for good news asap ! Here’s hoping March is all of our month! 🤞✨

Hey ladies, would love to join. Currently on cycle day 10. This is our first cycle ttcing after a miscarriage in January. We already have a little boy who is 4. We thought we were one and done but this surprise pregnancy made us realise that we wanted another. So we're back after 5 years to ttcing. It took us 2 years to have our little boy so I know it may take a while before we are lucky enough to have another but really hoping this time round it won't be as long. X

@TTC1990 &. @LK2610
welcome to the thread! The place to be for overthinking haha! No but I know what yous mean every cup of tea I have, which I have cut down to 1 or 2 a day I feel guilty haha

We’re now on our merry way for the next week, if you catch my drift. I’m overthinking everything, from whether it’s ok to have a bath to making sure I’m not drinking too much caffeine. I can’t bear to give it up completely though, I need my morning coffee! I’m a newbie to all of this so I’m sure I’ll get used to it all.

LK2610 · 19/02/2024 21:31

Hope you feel better soon and it passes quickly @RW269

TTC1990 · 19/02/2024 19:19

Hi all,

jumping on this thread too if that’s ok!

TTC Cycle 4 baby no.2. Happened on cycle 2 for our first, so feeling quite disheartened it hasn’t happen yet, although I know it is normal to take a few months at least! I am nearly 34.

Waiting for AF to arrive (was due today) but got a BFN so know I’m not pregnant.

Sending everyone baby dust and looking forward to hearing everyone’s updates! X

DearDarcy · 19/02/2024 18:28

Hi all, hope it’s ok to join this thread!

Bit of background - started TTC in December, didn’t happen for us , January ended up a CP at 5 weeks, our 3 time trying , fingers crossed has been a sticky one and I had a faint positive FRER yesterday and a 1-2 weeks on clear blue this morning! We didn’t plan to start so soon after my CP but we both felt ready.

Will try not to overthink this one and just let it be what it will be be, honestly ladies from experience, put down the tests save your sanity and your money! I was a serial tester the last 2 months and became obsessed… this time( although I know easier said than done!!) I just went with the flow and only tested after I had missed my period.. I honestly think no stress has really helped this time! Also.. hoping this gives hope to the ladies that have had CP’s!!

Sending you all lots of luck and baby dust x

RW269 · 19/02/2024 16:35

@SummerSun24 oh yes! That reminds me to take my vitamin D tablet haha! Hope you’re all keeping well! I know a few of yous will be coming up to the big week!

Vitamin C helps reduce duration of colds! Pile in the fruit @RW269 !! Just give yourself plenty of chance to rest and let your body do the work.

RW269 · 19/02/2024 15:43

@Dogscanlookup luckily I’ve booked off work for a couple of days for my birthday so todays been a bed day haha! So frustrating isn’t it! I’ve told my husband he’s to stay away from me as much as possible today to try not to pass it on 😂

OP posts:
Dogscanlookup · 19/02/2024 15:06

@RW269 antibiotics if it’s bacterial… just lots of rest though!! It’s so annoying when you or partner is unwell on the DTD days. You have 5 days so hopefully you’ll be better by then!

RW269 · 19/02/2024 14:18

Due to ovulate in 5 days and been struck down with a chest infection & cold how frustrating! Anyone got any quick tips how to get rid ? 100% still going to try hope it doesn’t effect it!

Dogscanlookup · 19/02/2024 12:43

@Mrshaitchxo i looked into the flo app recently and it looked really good! But I sort of do all my own tracking and use OPK which really helps put my mind at rest

Dogscanlookup · 19/02/2024 12:42

Hey all! I was in the previous TTC but no luck… I’m CD8, due 10th March. Cycle 4 for us after two MC last year. I’m excited to be on the TWW with a few of you!

Need this to be the month… feeling so empty since losing two pregnancies.

Mrshaitchxo · 18/02/2024 10:57

I'm CD 4 currently so a little behind the majority here I think!

Does anybody pay for the premium versions of apps such as Premom/flo/fertility friend?

I feel like I'm at the stage of wanting to pay for one of them but at the same time, i don't know if it's worth it & I know that my struggle ttc is down to only having one fallopian tube so would it even be worth having further insights to my cycle when it won't change anything 🫣😂

Wyewaving · 17/02/2024 13:40

Hi all, hope it’s ok to join.

We’re TTC #2. I’m on CD2 so the next cycle will be cycle 6 for us. I’m 39 this year so panicking a bit that we’ve left it too late so I’m booked in for day 21 bloods the first week of March and my husband is booked for sperm analysis next week.

I’m not being chilled out about any of it annoyingly, we caught with my daughter the first month we tried and after only DTD once 🙄

I’ve booked some reflexology for just before I ovulate and I have more of a plan in mind this cycle (we have never managed to DTD on the day I ovulate as we’re always too tired by then so I’m going to make sure we do this time) so feeling quietly hopeful still, but as each month goes on I lose a bit more hope.

RW269 · 17/02/2024 11:18

@SummerSun24 & @LK2610 Awwh that’ll be so nice we’re all about the same time, definitely helps having people to go crackers with when it’s that wait haha! :D

Me @RW269 I’m on day 7 too, AF due around 11th March 🥰

SummerSun24 · 17/02/2024 11:05

@RW269 oooo I'm so close! CD6, AF due 12th March 😊 yes be good to have someone to go stir crazy with!

RW269 · 17/02/2024 10:41

Will anybody be the same tww as me? :) I’m currently cycle day 7, due AF March 10th be nice to have fellow tww buddies due around the same time when it gets to it!

Thanks @skr97 yes it's only second month but I seem unable to start something without it becoming my entirely personality and consuming every waking thought. 😂
I have deleted all the apps this morning and hidden my BBT thermometer. If nothing has happened by June/July then I might let myself start again then (although I wouldn't put it past me to be eating my words next month).

I am the exact same! I've not bought anything at all because I know I would end up absolutely obsessed with it all!! It's like you say when I want something it becomes my personality until I get it.

I remember the first time round the TWW was the longest two weeks of my life and I Google every symptom and possibility 😅

Telling myself I will be more laid back this time when it comes to testing, I think I was doing test 7/8 dpo, but I know I'll 100% start too early and wind myself up again 😩

skr97 · 16/02/2024 17:24

@piechipsgravy Sounds like a good plan!

Mrshaitchxo · 16/02/2024 10:55

@piechipsgravy so sorry you're feeling this way, I had a month or two where my temp didn't really rise much and it really stressed me out not knowing if I'd actually ovulated/what my body was doing. I even considered buying a test to confirm ovulation but I thought that would just stress me out even more 😂

Do you temp at the same time every morning? I struggle doing it accurately because I'm up at different times every day and sometimes get interrupted sleep if my husband is working night shifts/early shift. I discovered the other day that there is a website where you can 'adjust' your bbt if you have taken it at a different time to usual however I'm not sure how reliable that is..

I'm debating not tracking my bbt this cycle as I've been finding myself trying to analyse for hours on end and comparing charts everyday and then towards the end of my cycle praying it wouldn't drop, getting hopeful when it would still be raised a day before my period and then being super upset when it did drop the next day.

I think for me personally LH testing is handy because I seem to get my peak at different times every month so I like knowing that we're catching the right time (again, with the different shift patterns of my husband we have to make sure we plan it all in!!) but can totally understand how that can also stress people out. It's so hard isn't it!

I'm with you making everything my personality - cannot do anything by halves!!
