Thank you for the reply @CoolSummer89 ! It says ‘if you don’t see any high fertility days (flashing smiley) it may be that your estrogen level is not high enough to be detected. Alternatively it may be your hormone changes occur close together. Even if you don’t see high fertility you may still get peak fertility’ so that’s kinda okay - but now I’m worried about the possible implications if any of my estrogen level is too low ! But hopefully I’m just one of the 40% who have a rapid surge …..!

I tested again there at lunch and a stark negative! I feel I'm out this cycle, 11dpo! Onwards to the next cycle, I would really love a Christmas baby!! We're starting treatment next month so I'm really hopefully it will work 🤞🏻❤️

So I taken two tests one yesterday and one this morning both BFN ☹️.

if any of you don’t know. I had my left tube removed 30th Jan 2024.

had a period that lasted like 8 or 9 days after the op. It was dead on the time I would have started my period. That was the 5th February. I have a 29 day cycle. So that puts me to about 4 days late now.

I have no cramps like I usually do. My boobs are sore. They were way worse a few days ago but now not to bad. I’m soo tired and I just want my AF to come if tests are not going to come out positive as I can then try again.

anyone had similar experience then it turned out they were pregnant?

@catmumma84 i know from using the cheapies with the Premom app that about 40% of women have a ‘rapid surge’ so you might skip the high readings that other people have and go straight to the peak. I think this means that you will ovulate in 24-48 hours.

what do the instructions on the CB test say?

ive been using the cleablue ovulation tracker for ‘4 most fertile days’ I was getting circles up to cd12 then on cd13 straight to peak static smiley, never any days of flashing smiley - is this normal? Dtd yday (cd12) soon as I saw it lol so fingers crossed not too late ..

I've literally just joined mumsnet to hop onto this conversation. It's my first month of trying, I'm 8dpo. Annoyingly I went to stay at my dad's house right over my fertile window so didn't have a huge opportunity to try this month😂but hey, only takes the one! Good luck all!

So happy to see all the BFP’s over the past couple of days! Congrats to you all and best of luck for line progression, remember that HCG doubles every 48 hours so don’t get too discouraged if the next day isn’t any darker.

And for those still waiting, I’m so sorry the TWW is such a cruel mistress. I wish you all the best, even if that is just AF arriving on time so you can plan for the next cycle 😊

My last cycle - the first one tracking - was absolutely text book. 27 days with ovulation on CD13.

This cycle not so much, temperatures all over the shop and ovulation on CD16 (tbc). Due to other commitments meant we only DTD one day in fertile window. However it is what it is and it’s better than nothing, so not letting it get us down. Maybe the universe really wants us to have a Christmas baby next month 🎁

As always so grateful to have people in the same boat who understand and over the moon to see so many successes!

For those with early negatives I'm holding out as last time I got negatives till 13dpo which was really disheartening at the time. And I mean also you in the face blanker than before I peed on it negative 😂 Then a good positive with evening urine out of no where on 13dpo!

@RW269 definitely test again!! False positives are less common than false negatives so 🤞

Has anyone has indents with boots? With my naked eye there is a very visible pink line but when I put my torch on there’s a colourless line up the middle of the pink line? Also it’s way clearer in person than on camera

I tested again today 14dpo and negative on a CB early detection 😩

So looks like I'm out this month, AF due tomorrow still no major symptoms of her and I'm still feeling a bit iffy 🤔 but guessing I'm probably just zooming into stuff. She'll show her ugly head soon I assume.

@waltzingintomonday I feel like I’m symptom spotting like mad which never works well for me lol. I’ve started having mild cramps now on my right hand side and mild shooty type pains in my actual vagina (sorry I don’t know how else to describe it!), really gassy and absolutely exhausted for some reason. I’ve had all of this before though and had BFNs. How are you feeling? :)

Had a dream last night I did 3 tests and they were all positive and I was so happy then I woke up 😅

Managed not to cave on the testing this morning, holding out till Sunday. Although last night partner said they felt like this month wasn't the month 😕

@TTC1990 I use the clearblue OPKs! This cycle I had 5 days of flashing and then a static cycle on day 18. My cycles are usually 29-34 days. Keep testing and I'm sure you'll get a peak soon!

@Dogscanlookup Could totally be a coincidence, hard to know for definite but it's certainly possible. My PdG yesterday and today both negative, on the app says levels are medium but not high enough to confirm ovulation. Trying not to stress too much, will see what next few days say and maybe I'll spring for a blood test next month to confirm whether I've got a progesterone issue. Did you do one today?

I might have not ovulated when I thought because my bbt is still high but af is supposed to be due tomorrow and my bbt always drops the day before.

Another BFN for me at 11dpo and my period is due tomorrow so pretty sure I’m out. I’m going away for the weekend so just going to relax and have a few drinks, won’t be able to test anyway as I’m not lugging my pee cup with me 😂.

Slightly panicked myself!!
Did a final CB test today. Defo positive.
My first test was 13DPO, then 14DPO, today 15DPO

I was testing with cheapies since 8DPO.

Issue is I’m still getting NADA on the cheapies and my CB are not getting any darker.

i never even knew to worry about line progression my last pregnancy. But I read some threads on here and here we are. So stressed now.

does anyone use the clear blue OPK’s? Has anyone ever had a flashing smiley but never a static one (peak). I’m CD16 and it’s on the third day of flashing…my cycles are between 28-31 days so seems a bit late! Next cycle I’ll start tracking temp I think. It’s all so confusing!

@RW269 you're prob right, do one tonight and try it panic about it all day! I looked at your positive and Iv never seen a strong evap line like that before x

@RW269 try again in a few hours, sometimes smu works! With my chemical last year at 9dpo mg FMU was negative but then I tested again with smu and got a postive! Just tested myself there, BFN
