I just feel so desperate. I've convinced myself this is my month after wanting this for the past couple years. So much POAS.
My previous pregnancies (have 5yo) have all been 5/6 days late before a positive test so I know it is a wasted effort testing early.
Does anyone else feel this combination of hope & sadness?

meepthebeep · 13/02/2024 08:26

Can I ask a BBT question? What sort of BBT would be normal during your period? I tested yesterday afternoon (CD3) and got 35.67, and this morning I got 36.51. I know you’re supposed to test first thing, so I think the temp from yesterday afternoon should/could possibly be disregarded, but do they seem a bit on the low side? I’m a bit concerned about the link between low BBT and hypothyroidism, and that and miscarriage, although I suppose at least it would be an explanation.

I sent off the Hertility kit yesterday which also measures TSH so that would be an answer to the thyroid thing too. TIA x

RaisingCornishWildlings · 13/02/2024 08:25

Thank you everyone. I'm so so sad and disappointed, I really had been hopeful this time.

My mood is angry and black today- I've been vile and shouty and the kids already, and my bloody SIL are coming over later as they're down in Cornwall for half term. I need that like a hole in the head as I really don't like the woman. The kids will be all excited and over -loud with the cousins and I just want to hide in bed and cry!

So sorry, @RaisingCornishWildlings 😔 take good care of yourself today, it’s so disappointing x

ThelastRolo20 · 13/02/2024 08:09

@RaisingCornishWildlings oh how frustrating! So unfair when she gets our hopes up.

@123456789ss I think a lot of people on this thread can relate 😂

123456789ss · 13/02/2024 08:04

I have a problem.
Tested at 6dpo

The wicked old crone has made her appearance

Ah sorry.
Let yourself be sad and treat yourself x

Figtree11 · 13/02/2024 07:35

Oh I’m sorry @RaisingCornishWildlings 😔

miamiamia869 · 13/02/2024 07:18

@RaisingCornishWildlings ohhh gutted for you. Why does she have to do it.

I swear there's gonna be positives in here soon!! It needs to happen!!

@Westy22 welcome and sorry for your loss.

Thanks everyone.
Well I'm pretty sure I'm out this month- I know you are meant to temp in the morning first thing, (I did at it was still high 37.2), but just took it this evening, and it's back down to 36.7
I'll take it again in the morning but I reckon blooming Valentine's Day or Thursday I'll come on!! 😡😖

Oh wel

Hey, hope you don't mind me joining, currently ttc after losing my first pregnancy last May, took approx 9 weeks for cycle to return following loss and they've been regular since between 27/32 day cycle. (Was on pill for 19 years, conceived after 4 months off...so super quick)

Age is not necessarily on my side as I'm 37 😑 Poas addict, early tester 🙈 obsessed. CD 11 and this month is dragging x

Figtree11 · 12/02/2024 20:27

@RaisingCornishWildlings dont worry at all! This is the place to let those feelings out with people who can relate and understand.

I’ve no idea if I’m in a 2WW or not 😂 If my cycle somehow regulates then I should be due a period at the weekend

Claudiasaz · 12/02/2024 20:18

@RaisingCornishWildlings that's what this group is for it drives you mad and you have to let it out somewhere 😂

bluebunny2 · 12/02/2024 19:54

@RaisingCornishWildlings sounds Like you’re still in with a chance. Especially if your tests were the less sensitive ones 🤞

I’m currently cd23 in what is usually a 27/28 day cycle but can go up to 30 days. I was feeling hopeful late last week but much less so now as what could have been symptoms have disappeared, plus I’m starting to get the niggling cramps I have around now most months.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 12/02/2024 17:50

Thank you all for being so patient with me - I feel like I've been awful and in my own head! Very self absorbed, I'm so sorry!
Only a few days til OH deploys, so pretty stressful plus all my children keep getting ill! I'm losing my mind 🫠

Really hope ONE of us has a positive result that stays positive this cycle! Anyone else in the latter stages of the 2WW and still in the running?!

AF has arrived today for me. A relief in a way that I seem to have gone back to the same cycle length I had before my mc, albeit still slightly too long but I can cope with that. Hoping my clomid/letorozle trial helps bring ov forward

miamiamia869 · 12/02/2024 17:11

Glad you are feeling better @Figtree11 ....

Yes there is still hope @RaisingCornishWildlings reslly holding out for you. Based on your other and cm it could be a winner

I do hope so!!

We are all rooting for you! Xx

Figtree11 · 12/02/2024 16:42

I really have my fingers crossed for you @RaisingCornishWildlings I didn’t do any tracking with the baby I lost last year - I didn’t find out until around 5 weeks. I didn’t have any symptoms at all until I started feeling very bloated so did a test.
Just shows what a MC does to you with symptom spotting & worrying. Whereas before we didn’t even realise!

RaisingCornishWildlings · 12/02/2024 16:09

Just back to add that looking at my very vague notes from Sept, I had sex on 7 and 9 and recorded high sex drive (no cm Notes!) but then a week later had stickier cm and I got my positive Weds 27th so basically almost 3 weeks from ov.. so perhaps there's hope for me 🤣

ThelastRolo20 · 12/02/2024 16:08

@RaisingCornishWildlings as they say you aren't out until AF arrives! Fingers and toes all crossed for you ☺️

RaisingCornishWildlings · 12/02/2024 16:02

@Claudiasaz @Figtree11 @miamiamia869

Trying to make myself more positive that I might still be up-duffed (however I don't want to get my own hopes up and then be disappointed!)

I just did some counting and discovered that each of my living babies, I found out I was pregnant (working from EDD for each of them),

dS1 -5w2d (period was about 4 or 5 days late, hubby kept saying pee on a stick, but I was convinced period would turn up!)
Ds2 6w 4d (only symptom was suddenly getting runners diarrhoea 2 days before I tested! and had pretty irregular cycle lengths!)
Dd1 5w5d (period had disappeared after covid jab and I was getting frustrated so saw dr about it as wanted to try for no 3- she dipped my wee and hey-ho a positive !!)

So I am not someone who has previously had loads of symptoms (and therefore I'm guessing perhaps my HCG is slower to rise?

So now giving myself hope of holding off testing til mid/later in week and perhaps I might get my positive! Or AF will turn up!

I wish I had tracked cycles when fell pg with my MC baby as I'm now assuming I was slightly further along than i initially thought! The first test I did was a bit of a squinter line, but no idea on DPO!

Thank you @RaisingCornishWildlings @Claudiasaz @miamiamia869
I am actually feeling a bit better today now after messaging you all, so thank you.
I’m going to try & keep this positive mindset. The weather is nice today, and the sun makes me feel happier, so hopefully when we move into spring, things will be a lot different for all of us.
I really am sorry that it’s not just me having a tough time. I’m hoping for good news for us all soon 🙏

ThelastRolo20 · 12/02/2024 14:34

@emmatcc1 we're thinking of taking a longer break until April, we're on holiday mid April and it will stop any anxiety whilst away....but I am so keen to get pregnant again we'll see how I hold out! X

miamiamia869 · 12/02/2024 14:22

@RaisingCornishWildlings sorry I seemed to have posted 1 minute after yours nor realiseing you had already posted about your negative.

I really thought it was going to be a good month for you! . We really need a positive in this group...you still never know without af but like you say its hard to stay positivr with negstive tests

Hope you are okay x
