1 DPO TTC 1st - company for the TWW?

Hi all, my partner and I have been trying for a while with no success (+1 year). About to start fertility tests. I am on cycle day 16 and had a positive ovulation (LH surge) test 2 days ago so think i'm 1 DPO. DTD yesterday and two and three days before test. Hoping this will be the month.

We've also both started taking pre conception vitamins, which includes vit D and folic acid for me. I really struggle with sympton spotting and i'm going to try and relax this month.

Would love to connect with some people in the same spot/keep us all sane during the TWW!

@tryforbabynumber2 this is cycle 10 for me TTC so I'm just very pessimistic at this point! I've been testing and getting nothing, should be DPO14 today. Maybe the HyCosy I had in the follicular phase messed up my cycle dates this month. Oh well, going on a weekend retreat so that will be a nice distraction, no screens or pregnancy tests in sight!

@CatmumTTC thank you! I wouldn't be so sure if I was you, I was fully expecting AF to come! I was moody, had cramps, even a light amount of spotting. Next day had my BFP! Xxx

I'm expecting AF any day now and think it's coming because I'm in a foul mood! Oh well, on to the next!

i must say I find some comfort in these group chats where I see 1 or more of you get a bfp. Hopefully not too much longer for the rest of us. x

This looks promising ? How many dpo are you ?
I'm currently 12dpo and tested negative yesterday but it wasn't a sensitive test. Been getting lots of left sided sharp ovary pain.

I’ve been getting sharp pain near my left ovary too! And feeling queasy. I’m 8 DPO. I’ve been getting quite a lot of pink - almost light red CM/spotting yesterday and today so had assumed I’m counted out. Who knows though.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up until I get a proper dark line 😬 but there's definitely a faint line on all my tests! Xxx

@shoto2024 that sounds like a good plan. If I'm not pregnant this month I think I will try to do the same xxx

I decided not to do ovulation test this cycle, take the pressure off myself completely and see what happens. Will try and Dtd during my fertile week, as have clear idea now of my likely range of days in cycle where I could ovulate most likely cd13 to cd17. Just aim to dtd before and in between these days. But that’s it in terms of trying for this cycle. As just want to try and not stress so much particularly in tww, just wasn’t fun for me. That way I can just live my life and enjoy my time without the pressure. Will still take supplements and eat healthy and exercise.

@tryforbabynumber2 @LCJar feel like i can see a VVFL on voth of yours?!? have you tested this morning??

CD29 today and have woken up to some spotting :( thats me out then, have mild cramping too so AF definitely starting. what a rollercoaster. I don't think we're going to try again for a few months now as I'm debating starting a new job! we'll see..... fingers crossed for the rest of you ladies xx

@LCJar No I'm not late yet, AF due on Saturday 😬 I've got some FRER and Clearblue coming today so might check with one of those. Fingers crossed for us both xxx
