Anyone else hoping for BFP this week?

I'm on cycle 3, due on tomorrow. I have tested today but it was negative. Weirdly I have no period symtoms (apart from being moody AF the past week).
I know it's only cycle three but I really thought it would happen quickly. I have been pregnant twice before (I have one daughter) but both were surprises. I've never tried to conceive before and have been using Flo and ovulation sticks - any tips? Should be be putting my legs up in the air after sex etc?
Would love to hear from other people who are on, or have been on, this journey!

I've started Spotting so I think I'll be fully on my period later today. Gutted!

We are using the clear blue ovulation sticks but this month I think will try and have sex every other day up until peak, then every day for a few days.

Fingers crossed for everyone else this weekend.... I had no symptoms and kind of knew it wasn't happening this month, so there's hope for you!

@mamataylor Update from me…due on today or tomorrow but my temp shot up yesterday & has stayed up today too. Trying very very VERY hard to stay grounded & not read into it as really don’t want the disappointment. I’m having a lot of shooting pains & cramps & spasms all over my tummy but they feel different to AF, they aren’t so deep in my vagina like AF, more like all over my abdomen. Who knows! Going to test on Sunday if AF doesn’t arrive🤞🏼🍀

We’ve just been having sex every 2-3 days through my entire cycle. It’s how we fell pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago! I’ve never tracked ovulation by using ovulation sticks or temping.

any signs of AF for you ladies yet?

Acronyms are a bloody minefield on here 🤣😂
so I have DTD/BD (do the dead/baby dance) every other day between AF (Aunt Flow - period) & ovulation & then I have sex on day of peak & for the next 3 days. I then don’t have sex in the LP (Luteal phase between ovulation & period) I just feel like I don’t want to disturb anything that might be happening…probably stupid as I’m sure it’s fine to. I think if you aren’t tracking with opk (ovulation predictor kits) or bBT (Basel body temperature) then you should probably just DTD throughout the whole cycle so you don’t miss your ovulation but if you know when you are ovulation you can be a bit more strategic about it

I have a little lower back ache this morning and couldn't stop weeing last night but this usually happens before my period.

Just wondering, how often do you have sex during your cycle? Last couple of months we've tried to have sex on all high and peak fertility days and the day after ovulation. I think both times there was maybe one day we didn't. I have to admit this month we haven't had sex at all after these days, but we've been really busy and had colds. I'm wondering whether we should be making sure we have regular sex through the entire cycle?

By the way I'm very new to all this so you might have to explain acronyms to me!

Hey ladies!

I’m also due on tomorrow or Saturday. I tested at 11 & 13dpo and both were negative although they weren’t with early detection tests. I’ve had a few symptoms in the TWW but again could be linked to my period 🙈
I have a 2.5yo and had a miscarriage back in November so this is cycle 1, post miscarriage.
I think I’ll try and hold out on testing until Saturday/Sunday but let’s see!

@sorcha1292 yeah I have had some weird symptoms which I haven’t experienced before but it could just be my period coming. But these are my weird ones:

5DPO:
Weird tummy muscle spasms I could see, my whole stomach was moving.
Sharp shooting pain in same place, to right of bellybutton & down a bit. Shooting pain in same place in the night, woke me up.

6DPO:
11am had lots of cramps & stabbing in lower abdo.

9DPO:
Very stressful & vivid dreams.

10DPO:
very vivid dreams again.

11DPO:
Boobs feel a tiny bit tender if I push them. Got that low down period ache feeling. Got that same twitch kicking feeling in the same place as 5DPO & had shooting pains down low.

12DPO:
Achey uterus area. Ovary twinges. Lots of cramps down low. Some muscle spasms in upper abdo. Tender nipples but not at bad as ovulation time. Lots of gassy bubbles in tummy & wind.

13DPO:
Big rise in temp up to 36.84 usually hanging around 36.5 at this point in cycle?! Boobs hurt in the middle when I push them. Muscle spasms in upper abdo. & loads of twinges & cramps down low.

@sorcha1292 oh god that must have been awful coming on 4 days late. I’m quite lucky that my periods & ovulation are very regular. Have you had any symptoms at all over the last week?

I'm definitely going to wait a few more days before testing again, although I'll probably come on my period. Weirdly I was four days late last month and I'm normally like clockwork - really got my hopes up.

This is my fourth cycle technically although the third where I've been tracking ovulation etc. I'm 31 but my partner is 40.

@sorcha1292 its so hard not to test isn’t it! I don’t have any tests in the house so no temptation for me! Lol. This is only my 2nd cycle & I’m 37 so not expecting it to happen quickly for me. What about you?
