@Cazzy87 Ah yes I'd just keep trying, I'm sure it will happen! It seems like your cycles are still regulating after coming off the pill - mine took a while to settle down too, but now they're pretty regular and predictable within a couple of days, so I'm sure yours will do the same :) xx

Cazzy87 · 06/02/2024 11:05

@CharliP33 ive tested both morning and evening and still the same 💁so no idea! i'll keep testing once a day in the hope that the line will get darker at some point this week!

CharliP33 · 06/02/2024 10:52

@KittyFantastica Oh thank you so much lovely - yeah I'm hoping I'll feel a little bit more clued up after this cycle!

Yeah I'm the same haha - it's deffo a good indicator!

Aw, I'm thinking about you! Deffo crossing everything for you too - I (and I imagine most of us in here) really know what it's like to want it so badly!!

Yeah I think for your own sanity, it's good to have a date in mind, and it's a goal to work towards. Good luck! xx

CharliP33 · 06/02/2024 10:48

@Cazzy87 Ahh.. what time in the day are you testing? It's definitely better to test later on in the day from what I've read, as the hormone increases as the day goes on, so maybe you'll see something later in the day? I'm testing at lunchtime and 8pm ish x

CharliP33 · 06/02/2024 10:46

@4LeafCloverBaby Yeah I think we will :) and ahh fair enough - my temp starts rising quite early in my cycle usually, a few days after my period, and kind of stedily increases, so I suppose I'll just have to see what the tests say! - here's last month's chart (the ovulation prediction on here is wrong IMO, it's just what the app says) and what's happened this month so far too x

@CharliP33 that's fair, I've tested every day from CD10 to when i usually ovulate and the day after this time round to understand my cycle better xx

CharliP33 · 06/02/2024 10:39

@Lowrilawson I'm unsure, I've never tested properly, but my apps seem to think around day 15, but I always feel like that's too late, and the one time I tested, i think it was 12/13, so want to regularly keep an eye on it for a few months, so I can get a better idea x

Cazzy87 · 06/02/2024 10:25

thanks @4LeafCloverBaby i hope there is, just wish my cycles would be more regular!

Hi everyone, please may I ask you to take a look at this? Usually it is stark white but FMU today and I can see a line?

Oh yes I can definitely see something!

Lowrilawson · 06/02/2024 09:35

I know the feeling @KittyFantastica I hate the wait so much! I'm only 4dpo but have had a lot of symptoms but I know it's just progesterone rise! X

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 09:33

@Cazzy87 my cycles were 32 days & the latest I ovulated was CD21 so there is definitely still time for ovulation if you are having a long cycle 😊 x

Crossing all my fingers and toes for you @CharliP33! Definitely doesn't hurt to DTD every other day and cover all the bases. If no joy this month, I think that's what we will do next month. We've done smep the last two cycles (kind of) and also just any extra days we want to as usual. We usually end up doing five in a row as I get randier before ovulation 🤣. It's a good indicator, I guess! It's exhausting though, so will try every other day next time.

Good luck with the strips and digital! Hopefully that should cover all the bases for you and get you some nice results. Excited to see your progress!

I'm DPO7 and driving myself mad with the wait. I've no symptoms at all and I can feel my brain straining to feel just ANYTHING. I've had weird dreams the last two nights and I have to keep telling myself it means nothing. I felt absolutely nothing until DPO9/10 last month and I think it will be even longer than that this month if there is any m thing to feel as I ovulated a bit later.

I've been wondering if ovulating later will mean implantation might take a bit longer, or whether a positive test would take longer to be detected. Either way, I'm not testing until 12th at the earliest.

Cazzy87 · 06/02/2024 09:14

@4LeafCloverBaby this is only my 4th cycle since coming off the pill, i've had 28, 40 and then 29 and i've been on the pill so long i cant remember what they were before!

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 09:12

@Sunandsea13 sounds good! 🤞🏼🍀

@Cazzy87 how long are your cycles usually hun?

Cazzy87 · 06/02/2024 09:10

@CharliP33 Hi! i'm good thanks i'm CD17 and weirdly still no sign of ovulation so i'm worrying , test again this morning was barely a line still 😕
your plan sounds like a good plan to me!

Sunandsea13 · 06/02/2024 08:43

@4LeafCloverBaby thank you! It is hard to know as I have PCOS but on an ultrasound last Monday they saw a corpus luteum so if I take the Sunday as ovulation then I think I am 9DPO. Hoping it sticks. The CB digital said NP but I know that can take longer so I’m going to do another one tomorrow morning

4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 08:39

@Sunandsea13 I can definitely see something there 😊 What dpo are you?

OP posts:
4LeafCloverBaby · 06/02/2024 08:37

@CharliP33 hey 😊 yes start DTD every other night until you get your leak. Your temp will only rise once you’ve ovulated as it’s the corpus luteum (cyst) that releases the egg that also releases progesterone which elevated your temperature. Any rises in temperature during the follicular phase are kind of irrelevant. Good luck & keep us updated! 🤞🏼🍀

@CharliP33 that sounds like a really good plan! what day do you usually ovulate x

CharliP33 · 06/02/2024 08:24

Hey @Cazzy87 @Lowrilawson @4LeafCloverBaby @KittyFantastica @Mummysparrow <3

Been reading the thread and all your comments today, hope you're all doing okay! xx

I'm on CD9 and been doing OPK once a day for the last 2 days, going to go up to twice a day today, lunchtime and evening; I've got the E@H ones and CB digital, so we'll see how it goes! Chatting to hubby and we might start DTD tonight anyway as my temp has just started to rise (I mean, it can't hurt right? haha) as he's going to be away again a lot over the next few months, so it would be reeeeally good if it happened this month 🙏

Hey @Barney2009 Didn't see your post there, it got lost in between everyone chatting I think!

Sorry to hear you've been having some troubles. Sorry I've not used this app before, so I can't tell when you've DTD but if you've got a static smiley, then I would DTD that night and the following night. Once an egg is released it survives for 12-24 hours, and once you see a Static smiley it mean it's soon to be released, so you have 24-48 hours - so that should be the chances that you get :) Message back if you've got anymore questions!

Lowrilawson · 05/02/2024 18:49

@4LeafCloverBaby really praying for it! I'm grateful to have this group! xx

4LeafCloverBaby · 05/02/2024 18:45

@Lowrilawson well let’s hope it’s a good sign 🤞🏼 If you don’t normally get it…it could be 🍀🤞🏼 x
