@KittyFantastica sending positive thoughts and hopes to you lovely. Youve been through so much. Hoping this little bean is your one!! No symptoms arent a bad thing at all, I know its hard but try not to read too much into that lovely.

Dont feel bad love, totally normal emotions to have - sorry i didnt spot your post but i had similar when a friend announced her pregnancy after id miscarried. Be kind to yourself, sending you a huge hug too xx

ButterflySkies · 26/06/2024 21:31

@RW269 you are not!!! It's horrible. Just after i miscarried one of my best friends announced she was pregnant, ive never felt such a stab in the guts honestly. I said congratulations but it took me ages to genuinely feel happy for them. What you're feeling is completely normal. I really want to give you a hug. It's so crap this journey, it's really is. Take it easy on yourself and feel what you feel with no guilt at all.

@Racket81 im so sorry you're going through this. Sending you a big cuddle too. I really hope you're looking after yourself and taking care of you. I hope you're snuggled up xx

Racket81 · 26/06/2024 19:59

So I passed the you sake today and bled through a big towel and my shorts. But illnstill go Friday so they can tell me if it's all passed or not.

RW269 · 26/06/2024 19:43

@KittyFantastica it’s just so difficult isn’t it. I really feel like there’s so little discussed about issues conceiving and after it to be honest!

I have everything crossed all is well! Quite a lot of people don’t get a lot of symptoms if any, when do you have your first checks etc? Got everything crossed 🤞🩷
that’s so sad about your friend but absolute nothing you’ve thought has had any effect on that happening so try not to be too hard on yourself 🩷

I know it's difficult not to see yourself that way, but you're not being unkind in any way @RW269. You're grieving, and anyone in the know should be a bit sensitive to that. Of course we don't want anyone else's joy smothered, but at the same time you don't need it thrown in your face.

I'm having a bit of a rough week. Still no symptoms at all, just like the last pregnancy, so I've convinced myself it's going to be bad news. I also found out that a friend of mine has just lost her baby at 25 weeks. She was due the same week as my first pregnancy and I remember feeling so happy for her, but also thinking 'why me, why didn't I get to keep my baby?' When she told me. Now I feel like the world's most terrible human being. I can't even imagine what she's going through.

RW269 · 26/06/2024 13:33

Goodness, I’m feeling so guilty at the moment. Since losing the pregnancy it was only 3 days before my sister in laws baby was born. I had to be around the baby the first few days of miscarrying and don’t get me wrong I’m so pleased for them but now I’m just so not wanting to be around everything baby but I feel like I’m just coming across as a right **head 😩🤦🏻‍♀️

how’s everyone getting along? 🩷

@KittyFantastica Absolutely understandable. I hope it eases soon, so you can enjoy the positives. It’s so anxiety inducing, isn’t it.

@RW269 I hope it’s all sorted before your holiday, and it’s as easy as possible for you x

I’ve had one of those moments that just sends you off track. My bear friend is just back from holiday and has posted all her holiday snaps of her toddler & bump, and then messaged me that she’s only got two full weeks of work left now and then she’s on maternity. I’m so happy for her - genuinely - and she had an awful loss last year, but I feel a real sense of loss for me too, right now. I was so excited to tell her I was pregnant when she got back from holiday.

Racket81 · 21/06/2024 20:46

Yes they said be best to tale a pill and induce the miscarrage. The baby would pass same day and then bleed for 2 poss 3 weeks after.

KittyFantastica · 21/06/2024 20:02

It's a sad and stressful time @Racket81, did they go through all the options available to you? I chose a D&C because I couldn't stand the waiting for it to happen and they said they couldn't predict how long it would take. My HCG was still going up at the time, so they said it could be weeks before my body realised.

Racket81 · 21/06/2024 18:27

Thanks @KittyFantastica I guess I'm just hoping that the induction of it is no more painful heavy or lasts any longer than when happens naturally as I go to gran canaria on holiday 2 weeks after having it done.

RW269 · 21/06/2024 18:20

@KittyFantastica Awwh bless you, you’ve been on a rollercoaster couple of months im not surprised your emotions are all heightened. I hope your counselling helps bring you a bit more peace and calm so you can enjoy the positives a bit more 🩷🩷🩷

I'm so sorry to hear such sad news @YouveGotAFastCar and @Racket81

@Racket81 The same happened to me for my last loss, I found out at 10 weeks baby died sometime between 7 and 8 weeks. It's a pain like no other. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to talk about it or have any questions.

Thank you @RW269 I'm actually not doing too well and am laying low for a bit. I've been struck with some sort of delayed grief since my positive test and am having some really awful mental health struggles. I keep having frightening thoughts and fits of tears. I know I'm hormonal, but it's never been this bad. I'm booked in for some counselling to try and make sense of it all. Not the experience I thought it would be considering how lucky I am!

RW269 · 21/06/2024 17:38

@YouveGotAFastCar Oh no my love! I feel your heartache 😞 sending all the love and hugs!
It’s just such a crappy couple of weeks isn’t it. Today was meant to be my scan and I’d emailed them to cancel it and they just phoned me asking where I was. So awkward!
We’ve all got this guys! 🩷

@KittyFantastica & @ButterflySkies hope your little beans are ticking along lovely 🩷

Oh @RW269 and @Racket81, I'm so sorry.

@RW269 Ive had the same as you this cycle. It hurts so much, doesn’t it. Mine was a fortnight ago now. Waiting for ovulation day again.., it’s already later than last month but hopefully will be soon. It is really hard to think about, but I’ve stopped crying now; thankfully. I’m still sad but also a bit hopeful and feel less destroyed.

@Racket81 I can’t imagine how that must feel; but I’m really sorry and I hope this is over for you soon x

Racket81 · 21/06/2024 17:23

Ladies I went for a early scan today 8+4 to be told the baby died at 6 weeks. I've had no bleeding so theybare hoping I will miscarry naturally within a week of not booked in to habe the induction of miscarrage next Friday. Very sad but I'm ok just want to het this over with and move on. 3rd time lucky here's hoping. X

RW269 · 20/06/2024 23:07

Thanks you three 🩷
I’ve had a week of tears, cups of tea and about 50 films but I’m starting to pick myself up again now, still sad thinking about it but it’s going to happen just got to keep believing that!

Hope you’re all doing okay! 🩷

KittyFantastica · 13/06/2024 13:39

I'm so sorry and so sad to see this @RW269, I'm heartbroken for you. This whole journey is so full of exceptional highs and debilitating lows.

Let yourself feel all you need to feel and give yourself time. I'm glad you're off work; take this time to focus on you and don't rush yourself. We're here if you need us, lovely.

ButterflySkies · 13/06/2024 11:46

@RW269 oh lovely, im so sorry. I want to give you a massive cuddle. It is the absolute worst feeling in the world. I had two losses before this pregnancy and it's so horrendous. I remember the first just feeling absolutely helpless and wanting the bleeding just to stop, so we could get on with the next cycle. Be really kind to yourself, I'm pleased you're not working lovely. Snuggle up and feel everything you're feeling. Get some yummy food in and look after you. Always here if you want a chat love xxxx

RW269 · 13/06/2024 09:02

Thank you guys ♥️
Had some paracetamol and a hot chocolate and cuddled up with my dog all day with the worlds cheesiest movies.
Yeah, I’ve spoke to manager about what’s happening in the end cause I’m just a ball of spontaneous tears at the moment and she’s been very kind and rotad me off the rest of the week.
Hope you’re all doing okay and everyone’s plodding along nicely ♥️ xxx

@RW269 oh lovely. My heart is hurting for you. It's absolutely horrible. Im really really hoping it's not what you're worried it is and it settles down. Can you take tomorrow off work and get all comfy and cosy? Got everything crossed for you. Sending so much love xxxx

KittyFantastica · 12/06/2024 18:21

@RW269 Oh lovely, I know how much it hurts. It feels like a betrayal from inside out. Take a paracetamol, have a nice warm drink and try to give it some time. I know the waiting is so, so hard.
