I don't know....
I've used clear blue before lots and lots and lots of times, I'm an experienced tester, never had a one that gave me an incorrect result...always get a blank screen....then odd time took a test out of a bin get a grey evaporation line....but its a line grey line....
This wasn't grey was blue came up straight...
I got a blue line straight away was in disbelief within the 3 minutes its says 3 minutes on this early one...
Haven't retested as afraid ill get a blank so going to try and wait until Saturday.....

@ButterflySkies oh I’m so sorry to hear you’ve got HG really hope the meds do level it out for you for the rest of your time! 🩷 So good you’re being supported by your work and that’s now a stress on you! Kit is such a cute name love that!
I’m alright thanks, just starting the tww again, what a draining 10 months 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 no giving up here though!

@Noisinmaro keeping everything crossed for you, that is very early still! 🤞🤞

@KittyFantastica

14 weeks Awwh how lovely! Are you planning to find out boy/girl or are you going for a surprise? :)

Hi @RW269 @Noisinmaro @ButterflySkies and everyone.

I'm doing okay, thank you @RW269. I'm 14 weeks now, though it still feels surreal and fragile. I'm sick every day, but it's not too bad, honestly. I'm quote lucky.

Sorry to hear you've got HG @ButterflySkies it's just awful how often it can happen and the feeling hungry and sick at the same time makes it even worse! Hope you've got some medication to help. Kit is a great name, will that be Kit Olaf, by any chance?

Ahh @Noisinmaro sorry you've had a disappointment on your last tests, it's still early though, there's time, right? Those ClearBlue tests are a nightmare, they get so many people's hopes up! I found the digitals even worse and they need such a solid concentration to provide a positive. I've got everything crossed for you!

Noisinmaro · 22/08/2024 10:34

@Butterflyskies Im a bit distracted didnt mean to ignore your message Sorry you have HG, girl at work had it was terrible for her, hope your being minded and you don't have long to go......

Noisinmaro · 22/08/2024 10:23

I just did a clear blue not the digital within first minute I got a line a blue one not a grey one , I presume it's a false positive and it's an evaporation line as did 2 boots and a boots digital last couple days....and all negative....
Im only day 24 out of a 30 day cycle since the mis in May....so I did test very early with boots on day 22 and 23 i know bit silly....anyways my anxiety will sore now wondering...why do I do this to myself....

ButterflySkies · 22/08/2024 10:02

Hey loves! @Noisinmaro sorry to hear that lovely got everything crossed for you!!

@RW269 how are you doing? Pleased your appointment has come forwards!! Good news!!

Sorry for silence my side - finally diagnosed. I've got the dreaded HG... throwing up between 8-20 times a day and feeling totally awful. Anything and everything sets me off from movement to lights to smell to food...! It's been a slog getting the right meds and support for it, but I think I'm levelling out again now! Very, very happy baby Kit (I think we're settled on Kit, for now anyway!) is growing ok and super active but I am feeling very sorry for myself, and you cant help but worry (I'm about a stone down over the last six weeks). Work are being amazing, working from home (often from bed), taking the time I need when I'm super poorly and definitely considering stopping early...! Xxx

RW269 · 21/08/2024 20:14

ButterflySkies · 04/08/2024 16:27

@KittyFantastica @RW269 hey loves so so sorry for silence had a horrid couple of weeks not being able to hold much down!

@KittyFantastica what fantastic news!!! That's such a lovely update to have seen - and how wonderful baba was thumb sucking too. How are you feeling lovely? I really do hope this is smooth for you from here and the wait to seeing baba again at 20 weeks doesnt feel too long!

@RW269 how are you doing love?? Thinking of you lots.

I'm third trimester now over here...! Which feels like such a milestone to get to. I managed to make it out yesterday and indulged in a very cute little baby grow and I think baby has a name...! Just hoping this relentless sickness stops at some point and I get a little bit of time between it and the baby's arrival... x

KittyFantastica · 04/08/2024 12:43

Hi all, how are you doing? I really hope you're all doing as well as can be.

Just going to leave this here as a little positive update. I'm still mostly keeping my head low and my heart hopeful.

We're 11 weeks today and we are measuring 11+4. Baby was moving around, stretching and sucking their thumb. It's the furthest we've ever got, and we were in floods of tears.

Keeping you all in my heart ❤️

TTC February 2024 ✨
KittyFantastica · 27/07/2024 15:03

Thank you for thinking of me @RW269 and @ButterflySkies, I'm really touched.

Sorry I've been quiet, we've had a hectic few weeks, and I've been trying to just keep moving forward.

My last scan at EPU was at 8+5 and all was looking good, so despite a total lack of symptoms, all going well. Having had the MMC before, I dread the next scans as I'm always afraid it will be the worst news. We have NIPT end of next week, and my 12 week scan is happening when I should be just passed 13 weeks. It still feels fraught, but I know I'm so, so lucky.

I'm still struggling with grief for my last baby even now. I can't even think of October when my due date should have been. It was going to be just a few days after my own birthday too, so it's like salt in the wound. I'm extremely grateful for my hopefully February baby, but my new due date just doesn't feel the same. Makes me feel awful saying it. To be leaving this year without either of our miscarried babies (and passed my 36th birthday) still childless will be very hard. I'm seeing a therapist, but I don't gel well with her, so may have to change that.

@ButterflySkies So pleased to hear that baby Olaf is cooking along nicely! It's amazing how quickly the time goes for others, I feel like the last 10 weeks have absolutely dragged.

@RW269 After my last MC, I went to the dr as my cycle seemed off and they were happy to do a comprehensive hormonal blood test. She checked for everything, the only thing she left off was vitamin c. Of course, by the time I had the blood test, I was actually pregnant so the results were skewed, but if you wanted to explore them, they should be happy to do it, especially if you say your cycle hasn't been usual. I hope the laid back next few months are good to you!

RW269 · 27/07/2024 11:28

@ButterflySkies next have some nice baby bits on sale at the moment ☺️ hope you’re keeping well! ✨🩷

OP posts:
RW269 · 08/07/2024 22:38

@ButterflySkies oh lovely! That’s definitely something worth doing, I think we’re going to have an easy 2 months just roll with scrapping the OPK etc just cover the main week/2 weeks just to keep the stress low then we will probably look at those tests if we’re in the same place :)

Ooo let me know if you find anything cute! Xxx

OP posts:
ButterflySkies · 08/07/2024 22:28

@RW269 really good lovely, im pleased for you. Not to add any pressure, and i cant remember off the top of my head what to ask for, but my GP offered to do bloods on certain days of my cycle while waiting for a referral when I asked. We didnt get that far because this baby stuck, but she had done a full blood test for everything just before the cycle this baby stuck (hormones, deficiencies, etc) and that did show some stuff we could try and change the dial on. So if you feel like you want to do something more quickly, it's definitely worth being persistent with, especially with a good GP. But also just take the break mentally now for a bit, if you want it. It does the world of good sometimes. Got everything crossed for you lovely!! I just know it's your time soon ♥️

Oh Sainsburys is a good tip too, il have a little mooch next time! Xx

RW269 · 08/07/2024 21:42

@ButterflySkies Yeah, I’m glad they’ve done it cause initially they were saying it’s 2 years of trying to be referred if you’re struggling and I thought that’s a long time!
Im not certain, if it happens again I’m going to ask my GP about testing hormones maybe I’m not sure if he can do that, I know he will if he can though I am very lucky to have a really good GP thankfully.

Hahaha love that, it feels like two separate things doesn’t, it the pregnancy then the actual baby onwards! Oooo next have some lovely stuff in, so do sainsburys actually I keep having a look for my sister in laws baby when I pick up any shopping bits and the quality of their stuff is lovely!
Definitely, keep me updated too! Looking forward to hearing lots of baby Olaf updates! 🩵

Oh lovely. I'm pleased you've got the referral, I'm sorry for what youve been through to get there but that's something moving in the right direction. That feels like quite the wait, really hoping it comes round quickly or something comes up sooner, and they get things going super soon when you see them. Can the GP do anything in between? Sending a huge hug, it's such a tough time when you're in the thick of it. Hope you're doing as well as you can do, and having the referral takes the mental load off a little bit.

I know, it's absolutely flown by looking back. I've started having "oh sh*t I've got to actually have this baby" moments now...! But I have finally been through all the baby stuff from my first, I think it's just practical bits (bottles etc) and some nice clothes on top, but I finally let my daughter choose a couple of bits for him recently and I'm going to whizz her into Next to look at the sale on Friday. Oh a glow for Christmas would be lovely! Stay in touch love and keep me posted, think of you loads, you've been such a rock - I'm always here if you need me x

RW269 · 08/07/2024 19:15

@ButterflySkies goodness me! 25 weeks that has flown by! So excited for you to hit that third trimester milestone! Bless you!
How are you getting on with baby decorations/purchases etc? So many sales just starting!
Who knows you might end up being one of those people who have a mega after birth glow!

Im plodding along, been to my doctors and cause I’ve had 3 miscarriages/chemicals and no successful pregnancies sticking he’s referred us to a reoccurring miscarriage team, won’t see them until March so he’s advised we just plod on keeping trying until then and hope it happens in the meantime but they’ll be able to start any tests then to see if there’s anything causing them and how they can prevent it happening. So I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed and hope it happens and we won’t need to go through that route 🤞🤞🤞 xxx
