TTC February 2024 ✨

I checked back on my Flo app and we DTD three times in my fertile window in September which is when we conceived the pregnancy which ended in MMC, so it could still happen 🤷🏻‍♀️ just a waiting game now, we’ll see 🙂

Thanks @orangeoctupus and @ButterflySkies - I wouldn’t know where to start with at home insemination and unfortunately I’ve missed the end of my window now, but I’m OK with it 🙂 we still DTD every other day in my fertile window including static smilie day, until the thrush happened, so what will be will be, and it was only our first month trying again.

The pessary seems to have done its thing and everything is a lot more comfortable now, so now I’m just into the 2WW 🙂

Morning all!
Still no AF for me but had a temp drop from 38.1 to 37 this morning so although that's still higher than my usual baseline I'm taking to mean it will come soon. Have banned myself from testing til Friday regardless. Hope everyone is ok!

@meepthebeep sorry i meant to reply - oh no thats not what you want! Get the pessary done and hopefully it will be cleared up in 12-24 hours... you won't be out the game too long then! i had it badly intermittently throughout my last pregnancy but it always cleared up quickly, and i remember being told to dial down sugar in take when i had a flare up x

Reporting for duty for the February TTC club. I am on CD5, this is our second cycle of trying but first one using OPKs and apps so hope we give ourselves a good chance. Predicted ovulation day of Feb 8th.

@ButterflySkies I'm due for AF on 10th Feb according to Clue (I don't think it has updated well as I'm ovulating later than usual on day 16) and 13th Feb on Flo and Premom. I'm really hoping the latter two are correct and my luteal phase isn't too short.

One day late today and felt just off all day at work.

No other symptoms just felt ugh. Me and the darling husband haven’t stopped giggling.

Oh wow, we'll have a buddy in each other for the TWW @ButterflySkies!

I didn't get a peak on either machine last month (but I got pregnant and had a chemical, so clearly did ovulate). I've only just found out this week that testing with fmu isn't a great idea with them, so I waited for the second wee of the day. I'd say it's pretty accurate this time!

I have had one positive from the tracker before in November, but we weren't TTC at the time, I was just trying to get my head around my cycles. It gave the peak same day as the monitor though, so I'd say relatively accurate based on my own experience only.

Here we go!!

How accurate do we reckon these clearblue sticks are? They wouldnt give a false positive? If it's like they're early pregnancy tests i have to say i take this with a pinch of salt!

@KittyFantastica that kit looks amazing!!! No doubt about that giving you an accurate reading!

Thanks @KittyFantastica! Will keep a look out to see if one crops up on eBay or FB marketplace. Interested to see how it compares to other methods.

@CLazz92 Thank you! It's the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. I've found it pretty reliable and it's very easy to read. I got this one second hand off eBay with a box of barely used sticks. A lady used it and fell pregnant first time, so thought I'd give it a go.

They're really expensive new, but there seem to be quite a few on eBay every now and then for around half the original price, so worth having a look :).

@YouveGotAFastCar bless you, it hurts doesn't it when it seems like everyone else is pregnant. We didn't tell anyone when we started trying and we didn't have any luck at all. Then our friends told us they fell pregnant first month trying, and then the day I had a miscarriage, my other friend told me she was pregnant 🫠

It's hard to see other people with their bumps or babies, even though I'm obviously very happy for them. Weird mix of emotions.

@KittyFantastica got everything crossed for you! Can I ask what the top device is in your photo? I've given up on OPKs because they always seem to say that I'm ovulating all the way through my cycle. Didn't know whether to try a different testing method.

Right, I'm officially back in the game. Hubs and I are still sad about our early loss, but we're sadder at the thought of not trying again, so we're doing it. Wish us luck!

We didn’t manage to DTD last night because I definitely have thrush, presumably brought on by too much DTD 🙄 it seems such a cruel joke, I’m feeling a bit frustrated with my body, although I know it’s been through a lot.

I’ve read everything I can find on Canesten over the past 12-ish hours and it sounds like the pessary and cream are safe for TTC and pregnancy, so I’ll get to the pharmacy later.

I’m not optimistic about our chances this month because of that, as I’m not sure how easy it is for sperm to survive or implantation to happen, but we’ll see. We DTD every other day from the end of my period up to ovulation, and two days back to back on the day before and the day of my static smiley OPK, but not on the day of ovulation itself. Maybe that’ll be enough but who knows - I think maybe the thrush could be my body telling me to let it rest a bit longer 🤷🏻‍♀️

Morning all. I'm due on today but no sign yet. I'm lightheaded, sore boobs, temp has stayed high and thin white discharge HOWEVER got a BFN this morning. Not really sure what to think/feel!

I’ve got one DS, 2. Thought we’d have had a second when he was around a year, but my period didn’t come back until last October… for some reason really through this was my month, but I’ve come on today. Everyone I know is pregnant, my closest friend told me yesterday she’s 8 weeks but hadn’t wanted to tell me yet because she knows I’m the last not pregnant one. I obviously don’t want a baby just because everyone else is having one, but it makes it hurt more, somehow.

My fingers are very crossed for everyone still in this month 🤞🤞
