Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Hi Ladies

I didn't post in Jan but was watching your posts.

Jan was our first month TTC im 34 hubby is 39 ( we both had fertility checks last year all came back ok)

We weren't successful this month even though we apparently did the deed during my fertile dates, my ovulation was predicted for 18th Jan on the evening of 17th I had horrible cramps that had me doubled over, I'm not tracking with temps or opks yet may start this is we keep struggling, just been going off when i get my ecm and ovulation pains and when apps say maybe my fertile dates.

my cycles can vary a bit through 26 to 32 days, this month one app said 2nd the other said 6th Feb but I ended up starting today so 27/28 day cycle

Here's hoping Feb is a better month for us all and we finally get some BFP's

8dpo for me, took a cheaply test BFN Obviously 🙄 think I'll do an early response tomorrow at 9dpo

Anonxo · 01/02/2024 14:59

Heyy has any one uses pregona are conception before and it’s delayed AF? If so what did you do if anything to fix this

PinkFlamingo888 · 01/02/2024 13:03

@Phinie I’m only 4dpo and I know it’s definitely definitely too early for any symptoms, however, I had weird tummy flutters yesterday and back pain over night and this morning. I don’t have any other explanation for it but trying to convince myself it’s not a pregnancy symptom is quite difficult!

Phinie · 01/02/2024 12:19

I am 6dpo today and woke up feeling pretty nauseous. I've also been feeling dizzy today. Which could mean I'm pregnant, or could be because I've been having trouble sleeping and getting up early for work, and I'm really sleep deprived now. The insomnia could also be a sign that I'm pregnant, but if fatigue is a common pregnancy symptom, then it's probably a sign that I'm not.

Also since I'm only 6dpo, none of this probably means anything.

I love how everything both is and is not a possible pregnancy symptom.

Phinie · 01/02/2024 12:16

@piechipsgravy Ah that's so difficult, I'm sorry. It's the worst when people make comments like that when you're already struggling.

piechipsgravy · 01/02/2024 11:41

Today I'm CD28, according to NC I'm 14DPO and 3rd day of missed period (was due on Monday). Still BFN this morning. To add insult to injury I was feeling really down this morning and was a bit teary when I got to work. Told my TA I'm hormonal and started to cry- she said 'congrats, I'd guessed you were pregnant' and then had to tell her that I'm not!

So getting a high 2 days after Af finishes isnt that unusual unusuits just a bit quick for me as I only normally het 1 high day thrn straight to peak. I'm just gonna take this as a possative thing and see what happens.

I started getting 'high' one day two days after AF finished this time :). A bit early for me considering when I actually ovulated, but it just means I started ramping up the oestrogen in prep for the Lh surge.

Clear blue fertility monitor

ceruleansky · 01/02/2024 08:30

@hicketypickety
I'm sorry, that sucks. :(
It's unfortunate that they have so many conditions to provide a basic need. I hope things turn out better the next time..

So my monitor says high today cd8 which is unusual for me as it means ovulation is on its way however I normally don't get ovulation till cd15/16 so I'm thinking it's gonna be early this month. Perhaps the accupuncture has done something to me. Also I usually get low then a sudden peak rather than a gradual as in only 1 high day then straight to peak. I also have a massive back ache which I'd put down to perhaps getting the illness all my colleagues have gone down with like a flu. ( work with children 3 months to 3 years so we get everything going) anyway just thought I'd update you have a good day ladies. Pic attached

Hi @Racket81 I used one of these for three months before we started TTC. All of those months, I got 'High' from day eight or nine onwards and then ovulated either day 13 or 14.

This month, I got 'High' from day 9 and 'Peak' on day 16 and 17. I did have a chemical earlier this month, so that could account for later ovulation, but I do think it just sometimes happens.

After the monitor detects a peak, it doesn't require any further tests, so I ovulated day 17 and it's now back down automatically to 'Low'. My OPKs had a consistent mid-range line from day 12 and peaked for one day at day 16 - the same day the monitor and a CB fertility tracker I have gave a static smiley. So I think they're pretty accurate :)

I'm excited to see it ramping up for you!

This is a really interesting machine what’s it called?

hicketypickety · 01/02/2024 07:46

@ceruleansky and @ButterflySkies thank you both so much for your kind thoughts! its definitely not good news - had a lot more bleeding and a negative test today so I want to push EPAU today on whether they think I’ll be accepted to the recurrent loss clinic 🤞🏻I was incredibly upset last night while mix of emotions but today I feel sort of at peace with it (sort of). Until they tell me at EPU the molar doesn’t count and I have to have another 2 miscarriages first 🤣🤣

@hicketypickety
Okay, please @ me anytime you want to talk, i hope you'll be fine. I'm praying for good news from you. If not today, sometime soon. ❤️

RW269 · 31/01/2024 22:23

@ButterflySkies Awwh sorry to hear you’re having a bad day! Glad you’re cosy with a hot chocolate! Fresh day tomorrow! It’s totally normal to feel like this though, I’m always fighting this thought too! Constantly got my mil asking when she will have a grandchild (doesn’t know we’re trying) and every time in my head I’m like 😫😫😫)
very insensitive though with the comments being made to you especially at work where you should be able to just focus on that. Here’s hoping for a super cheerful Thursday tomorrow! X

Sorry to hear that @CLazz92 - you arent out til AF shows so fingers crossed!! Lucky cycle 17 hopefully lovely. The mood ups and downs are so intense arent they.

That makes sense @meepthebeep - i think i am desperately trying to put some control round the process and maybe it is the fact I know it's now out of my hands.

I'm under a blanket now with a healthy fake hot chocolate, am avoiding non-essential g&ts atm though I do wish it was one 😂, then it's a new day tomorrow and hopefully a more positive one!

Keep us posted @piechipsgravy and i totally get that @PinkFlamingo888 xx

Anonxo · 31/01/2024 20:30

Hi Ladies Hopefully it's not too late to join in I am coming to the end of this cycle and should be seeing AF soon. Then the tracking begins. Is there anyone else about to start would love to find a sanity buddy lol.

CLazz92 · 31/01/2024 20:29

@ButterflySkies sorry you've had a bit of a rubbish day. If it's any consolation I've been miserable as sin all day and been ratty with my innocent junior colleague as well as husband. Felt bad, apologised and then cried. Topped off crap day with a stark BFN so consoling myself with chocolate buttons 😆

I know I'm not out til AF arrives but I have sneaking suspicion I'm onto cycle 18 🫠

meepthebeep · 31/01/2024 20:21

@ButterflySkies so sorry you’ve had a tough day 😔🫂 I can completely empathise with a bit of a post-ov come-down - I wonder if it’s because, when we were in our fertile windows, we could do something about it, but now it’s the TWW, we just have to wait and it’s out of our hands.

🫂☕️💐 to you x

ButterflySkies · 31/01/2024 20:01

@hicketypickety sending so much love and huge luck for tomorrow's appointment 🩷 this group is here if you'd like it to be, totally get coming and going from the boards. But we're all here if you need us x

ButterflySkies · 31/01/2024 20:00

I feel really down today, like i could burst into tears! Been super clumsy and tensions are high at work, plus babies and baby chat absolutely everywhere, feel like I just have a knowing feeling this is not our month (again!).

One of the key workers at nursery said my DD said she was waiting patiently for her baby and she would like a sister. Someone well meaning but with zero social skills at work explaining why two kids are better than one and that i needed to get on it because you're more fertile with a smaller age gap... what the actual f was my response in my head! And someone bought their newborn into the office...

Is a post ovulation down day normal? First time I've had one. Annoyingly nursery let DD have a two hour nap so she's totally hyper, and I just want to sit and cry!

hicketypickety · 31/01/2024 15:52

@ceruleansky going to EPAU tomorrow as it was the earliest they could see me but just did an easy at home test and not even a sniff of a positive (though I’ve had a lot to drink today it should have shown something I think?). EPAU basically told me there’s probably going to be nothing to see but they’ll do some bloods given medical history. TMI but if it is then it’s not like the miscarriage I had before it seems…slower but I’ll see what they say tomorrow. I’m glad you’re doing well!
