Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@Mrshaitchxo That could be a really good sign, got my fingers crossed for you!
I tried temping this cycle but kept forgetting and getting out of bed, plus my wake up times vary so much.
Let's hope this week we get our BFP's.

Mrshaitchxo · 11/02/2024 17:41

Me too @Czzpop!

I'm overanalysing everything this week.. My temp is higher than it's ever been at this time in my cycle so my brain is of course going into overdrive even though it could mean absolutely nothing 😂

Czzpop · 11/02/2024 17:34

Congratulations to all getting BFP's, it's really exciting and encouraging to see. I'm still holding out till AF is due. Any one still on their tww, I'm praying this is our month too 🙏🏽

ButterflySkies · 11/02/2024 17:24

Definitely tell him @KittyFantastica - i just got a lovely cuddle and nicely told to calm down, it's lovely to have the support from hubby and all of you. TTC is isolating enough as it is, even though ive told a close friend i wont tell her for a good few days at least, dealing with the anxiety after a loss in total isolation is a lot.

Good plan @RW269 - take care of yourself and try and stay up beat!! You've been a rock during this cycle, im cheering you on for march already

Im going to stick around until i know for sure if thats ok with you lovely ladies! xx

Mrshaitchxo · 11/02/2024 17:17

@KittyFantastica great news!! I can totally understand your anxieties however I'd definitely say tell your husband as he will want to be there for you. You don't want to be feeling all of these emotions alone ❤️ keeping everything crossed for you!!

KittyFantastica · 11/02/2024 17:16

Thank you @RW269 @ButterflySkies @Noisinmaro and @piechipsgravy, I really appreciate your messages.

I'm fluctuating between feeling calm and freaking out. Ideally, I'd love to be able to sit back, not test again until 14th and tell hubs that evening if no AF appears, but now that I know something is happening - no matter how short lived - I feel as though I should tell him. I think I'd like to be able to show him though and none of the tests are dark enough to see without squinting. The digital and boots cheapie I did were both negative, though neither of them were early detection.

Wishing you all so much love and good luck. I'll be sticking around no matter what to cheer you all on.

KittyFantastica · 04/02/2024 15:27

@PenguinOnTheMoon My surge was sudden! I was worried that my tests didn't seem to be progressing and assumed it would get gradually darker. I managed to catch it and it was back down to baseline within a day or two.

The peak on the OPK coincided with a peak on another OPK brand, CB tracker and CB monitor.

This app are you using. Sorry I am very new to this.

RW269 · 11/02/2024 17:07

@KittyFantastica Got everything crossed that little line stays there for you! I’d tell my husband, the support you’ll get from each other if it doesn’t will be worth it !

Got my fingers crossed for all of you! Im going to hang around a little to see how a couple of you get on who are in the tww at the same time cause I’m totally invested in it for yous! Then I’ll be disappearing, have a week or two of distraction focusing on other things before trying again! For anyone that doesn’t have it happen this month I’ve made a March thread for anyone who needs some March buddies ❤️

@KittyFantastica tentative good news lovely! I know exactly how you feel, if it helps your line is darker than mine on one of those.

Id tell your hubby so youve got support - just couch it as you're feeling quite anxious about things.

I feel like i cant relax myself - im really crampy, feels like AF is inbound to be honest. TTC is so emotionally exhausting! Take care of yourself and try and relax. There's absolutely no reason for it to happen again, im going to try and not test now until tues/weds so i dont beat myself up about line darkness so maybe thats a good idea too?

Xx

Noisinmaro · 11/02/2024 15:52

@KittyFantastica well its defo there, I wouldn't focus on it being faint...prob the test...I'd just get yourself a clear blue or boots I find boots 5 day early accurate...look its out your hands so worrying is pointless....looks good to me...test again in 2 days...and of course it will all work out sure why not..I do try and take my own advise....

I'm heading into tww....I got my static smiley 3 days ago.....dtd more days In a row than ever hubby is usually every 2nd day...never every day...

Hi all. I'm back with a little news. I said I'd test on 12DPO and, even though I've had no symptoms at all and felt very depressed about it on Friday, I decided to stick to the pact I made. I don't really know what made me test today besides that. I've had no symptoms. Still none. Not a single one.

I had an early loss in January and felt implantation strongly that time, so all I feel right now is shock and anxiety. I'm desperately hoping for the best, but all too aware of the worst that can happen.

I don't know whether to tell hubs or not as last time was such a lot of hope and happiness to be squashed so quickly. What would you do? All I can think about is how faint that line is. My lines never really darkened before and I've seen so many much darker positives at 12DPO from other people.

For reference, I'm 35, cycle 2 of TTC (cycle 1 ended with a loss), and totally in shock.

Congratulations! I can completely understand why you are feeling apprehensive. I suppose if it were to be a loss again- would you want your husband to know? If so, then you should definitely tell him. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you that those lines keep getting darker!

@RW269 so sorry lovely ☹️ it's always a gut punch when she shows, even more so when it's early!

ButterflySkies · 11/02/2024 14:35

Thanks ladies! Im holding my breath I have to say, I've had two CPs recently so fingers crossed this little line sticks around. @Noisinmaro fingers crossed for you!

@Mrshaitchxo im 12dpo i think, keep us updated!

@RW269 oh no... im so sorry to hear that lovely. AF feels so cruel when you're TTC. Hope you're ok, sending a hand hold. Take care of yourself and snuggle up today xx

emmies86 · 11/02/2024 13:03

First month trying for number 3 forst time actually ttc and my OPKs are all over the place had 5 days of cheap ones being positive and 4 daysbof clearblue solid smiley with a blank circle in the middle. Wishing us all positive results. Is anyone due their period around the 25th? When is the earliest I can test with a 10ml early test?

Noisinmaro · 11/02/2024 12:44

Ah congrats @ButterflySkies I find clear blue very accurate come up, starking white for me im never confused so I'd say yours is a postive...

RW269 · 11/02/2024 12:36

@ButterflySkies that definitely looks like a positive! can see the line pretty clear! Congratulations super happy for you! ✨🎉

I’ve woke up this morning to be greeted with a 3 day early AF, so disappointed:(

Mrshaitchxo · 11/02/2024 12:35

@ButterflySkies I definitely see it 🥰 how many dpo are you now?!

I did another test this morning, BFN again! Not entirely sure whether the easy @ home tests I've got are early ones though so could be pointless lol. Feeling a bit crampy today more like AF so I think I'm out anyway 😣

Think if she does appear I will make a doctors appointment to get the ball rolling..

ButterflySkies · 11/02/2024 12:28

So I obviously couldnt wait and added a clearblue to my tesco shop last night 😂 i think, i think it might be positive... appeared straight away so i dont think it's an evap. Got some amazon cheapies turning up later so will see what that looks like tomorrow...

@RW269 @Mrshaitchxo @meepthebeep how are you ladies doing?

Happy Chinese New year everyone. How lovely would it be to have a baby in the year of the dragon.

Mrshaitchxo · 10/02/2024 11:44

@Stramas congratulations!🩷 stick baby dust to you ✨

@ButterflySkies ohhh exciting - i'd say if you've had lines on all 3 then it's definitely a positive and not evap!! Keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻 keep us updated.

I tested this morning as I just couldn't help myself after my weird achy legs and back yesterday but it was stark white as expected! Not giving up hope just yet as I'm only 9dpo (8dpo according to FF but it's only my first month using this app so unsure how reliable it is) but I needed to know either way 😂

I have a bit of a stuffy nose this morning so either I'm coming down with something or my body is having fun tormenting me 🥲

RW269 · 10/02/2024 09:45

Congrats to those getting their bfp!

@ButterflySkies oooo, that’s exciting but also nerve wracking!! Can’t wait to hear on Monday if it’s a line line!! 🤞🤞🤞

@Mrshaitchxo @RW269 im really sorry i broke our pact... i was woken up at 5am, DD thought it was morning and in a moment of sleepiness i did a test, which had a vfl appear quite quickly. So have now done three bands of tests, all the same, and i have no more so i cant test until at least monday. Im going to be questioning whether they were cruel evaps or lines all weekend 🫠🥴 have binned them all so i dont torment myself! Why do i do this every month 😂

@KittyFantastica i am so so sorry, what an awful time for you. Sending you a huge hand hold and a huge hug. Any one if those things is horrible on their own, you're incredibly strong and allowed to feel all the things you feel. Please take time to rest and process - we're all here for support xx

Itsasomething · 10/02/2024 08:26

Joining as I can't stop myself from symptom spotting. 7dpo (I think), had mild cramping tingles and dizzy spells last night. Woke up today nauseous with lower back ache.
I know it's crazy early, but it's so hard to not obsessed.

RedRobyn2021 · 10/02/2024 07:49

Congratulations everyone on your BFP that's wonderful 🌟

After my earlier post my LH levels have dropped and I've had a few very mild cramps which usually happen a week or so before I get my period, so I think I must be having an extremely short cycle,

My Premom app says I am 6DPO and my period is predicted to arrive on the 19th Feb which would make my cycle 24 days

On top of that we only managed to have sex once on my peak day, we have both been ill and DD has been waking in the night

I wish I knew how to put less pressure on myself
