Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Hey, I am 10dpo and have had sore boobs for quite afew days along with niggley cramps. I had a chemical in Dec also. I took a test today and feel I can see the start of a line, it could just be my eyes though

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/02/2024 10:29

I was wrong - very, very tiny amount of watery blood when I went to the toilet just now and I have some light cramps, so I guess my period is coming early. It's due on Friday. Gutted, so I guess I did have some hope!

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/02/2024 08:57

I'm so pleased to see so many faint lines appearing!

Not got one here, sadly... 11dpo today. Tested using the Premom pregnancy strips yesterday and this morning, but nothing, not even a shadow, so I think that's me out. For some reason, I was really confident this month, so it feels like a blow. Lots of baby announcements amongst my friends this week, too, which is bittersweet!

My period is due on Friday, so I guess I'll probably test again around then, but I don't have much residual hope now.

Hi @UKMummy2one, I drove myself mad with faint lines early on and resorted to SMU. My results were absolutely night and day in difference. I've attached a picture of my 16DPO pictures - top one was FMU and bottom was SMU after a 3 hour hold. I had a chemical last month so know the fear very well.

It's still early to be testing, but I can definitely see a difference in your lines.

Morning, ahh thank you so much for replying and sending this info over. I guess I just can't believe I've been able to be blessed again as have PCOS and funded this cycle myself without hospital monitoring, saw my one and only follicle (just like with my daughter) at CD16 23mm and ovulated CD19 .. it's just incredible to see those words but definitely need to calm down and remember every pregnancy is different and what happened with my first test wise etc is not going to happen exactly the same with 2nd.

FRER showing super super faint line, more noticeable after 3minutes though

MilkyAndFluffy · 20/02/2024 07:46

@KittyFantastica thanks for that info chick, I’ve heard a few people say they like these tests over the FRER’s and bonus that they are cheaper!

I have done another this morning and I can’t see anything so it must have been a false or an indent yesterday morning - it really got me cos it had colour in it argh!

wishing you all the best x

Sorry to see that the FRER was negative @MilkyAndFluffy. I still find those strip tests the most sensitive, though, even than the FRERs. I don't use FRERs and I find them less reliable!

babycandy · 19/02/2024 22:04

Congratulations to all you with positive tests and sorry to those of you that have had their af show up.
I’m now two days late but no positive test for me.
I’m ever hopeful for those two lines though.

Thankyou. I'm useing the premom app and OPK stripps. Started useing them last month and took a bit of getting used to lol. Xx

Yeah it’s one of those things that I feel crazy and confused about until it works out I guess. There’s a March ttc thread already I find it’s easier when there are people around the same stage

Choc29 · 19/02/2024 20:59

Anonxo · 19/02/2024 20:35

@Choc29 sorry to hear that. Sorry if I missed it but how are you tracking if you are?

Hey ladies 😊can I just ask who is at or about to start the beginning of the TWW

MilkyAndFluffy · 19/02/2024 20:35

@KittyFantastica @UKMummy2one thanks girls. I’ve done a FRER this evening after barely drinking today and a 5 hour hold and it was BFN so I’m guessing that was a false or fluke or something :( sad times!

I have my fingers crossed for both of you that your tests darken and have sticky beans 🤞🏼🩷 x x x

Choc29 · 19/02/2024 20:02

I think AF may have just arrived 🥺. Very light and 3 days late. Ttc month 3 here we go. X

Hi ladies, can anyone see anything on this test or am I going mad with line eyes?!

I can see your line!! 😍🤞🏼👏🏼

UKMummy2one · 19/02/2024 09:08

Hello all, hoping to join. I’ve been using Premom app & have had some vvfl since 10DPO on easy@home but read they can give false positives.. tried an FRER and CB that both showed the same faint line and yesterday tried the Boots ED that showed the strongest line yet. My thing is this mornings FMU isn’t showing as strong a line and I’m now 13DPO.. shouldn’t it be stronger by now? (Both have colour just not captured so well on camera)

i did have low hcg levels with my first baby but still had darker positives at this stage 🤷🏼‍♀️

please let me know what you think and if it’s worth trying SMU instead. I'm just wanting clarity 😩

CBED - 11DPO Pm
FRRR - 12DPO Am
Boots - 12DPO Pm / 13DPO Am

@Racket81 I had and still have no symptoms currently.
With DC1 I also noticed my boobs were slightly bigger and I had visible veins which I never experienced before.

Mi3mi · 18/02/2024 21:19

Hi everyone! I am 8/9 dpo and I am feeling warm and tired and have noticed these weird white lumps (I think they are called montgomery’s tabancles) on my nipples since 7dpo. Did anyone else notice these on their nipples around this time? It seems early as the embryo is unlikely to have even implanted at this point, but I’ve never had this before and it sounds like it can be a pregnancy symptom?

Racket81 · 18/02/2024 20:36

@KittyFantastica that gives me hope. My boobs very tender. I'm not due af till Thursday. I also have lots blue veins in them but could just be pms I guess.

KittyFantastica · 18/02/2024 20:34

Racket81 · 18/02/2024 18:24

Anyone had no other symptoms other than really sore boobs at 10dpo and go on to get bfp?

Yep. Absolutely none. Drove myself mad in the TWW trying to summon spot when there was not even a flicker of a single symptom. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and thus far have only had one mildly sore boob since 4w4d. No other symptoms!

RedRobyn2021 · 18/02/2024 19:50

@MilkyAndFluffy we DTD when I got the positive test, but have both been poorly this month so that was literally the only time we have done it

I'm still tracking and I'm due tomorrow according to my premom app, the cycle length would be 24 days

Tbh my cycle varies, since I started tracking I've had months with 23/24 days and other months that have been longer

It is very early to ovulate, I don't usual ovulate that early

I am still breastfeeding my daughter once a day at bedtime too and I do wonder if that is messing with my cycle too
