Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in February 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Jan to Feb! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Glad to see those expecting are getting along okay, long may it continue.

I'm feeling much more like myself, so I do feel better, but the frustration of all the issues left over from the MC is bad. I'm only on my 2nd cycle since the D&C in March. The first was anovulatory and only lasted 18 days total. Sadly, it looks like this one is shaping up to be the same 😔. I had a pseudo surge on CD9 and nothing since, though both CB digital and monitor are giving flashing smiley and 'high' for the last 7 days. After previously having had such reliable cycles, I'm not coping well.

I have a blood test booked for Monday, so hopefully they can see where the issue is and do something. I'm trying not to hold my breath though, I've heard NHS doesn't like to prescribe anything hormonal aside from the pill. I'm taking so many vitamins, I could rattle if I jumped 😆.

All I can think of is I should be nearly entering 3rd trimester for my first baby now, and now far behind for my second. Nature is so cruel.

Anyway, attached my Premom chart just in case anyone is interested or has seen anything similar and can reassure 😅

@Racket81 congratulations! Super happy for you all the best wishes to get to the 12 week mark! 🤞✨

@KittyFantastica Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that :( I know me and my obsessed ways would still take a test in a week or so to rule out any implantation bleeding. You’ve got this though, it’s good you’re getting back bit by bit to your regular cycle. Very frustrating for you though sending all the love ❤️

Looks like my cycle is definitely still out of whack. I spotted for three days, had one day of no spotting, then had bleeding yesterday. It seemed too heavy for spotting, but a bit light for a period, but I'm going to guess it's AF. I'm devastated as I really thought my cycle had finally returned to normal when I ovulated day 15. It has been nearly 10 weeks since my D&C now and I could scream. It was only CD22 yesterday. My luteal phase was only 4 days before spotting started :(.

Racket81 · 24/05/2024 13:37

Giving birth age 43 is a scary prospect though. I will prob be a c sec as one emergency court sec and a traumatic v back second time ended up in surgery myself after birth. Omg I'm so excited but don't want to get carried away.

Racket81 · 24/05/2024 13:36

Wishing you all the luck too be nice if you were next. X

Racket81 · 24/05/2024 13:34

Thak you @KittyFantastica afyer 2 amd a half years trying amd 1 failed attempt ready I had almost thought it was never going to be. Need to het to thay 12 week ark though which is 16th July I will be on holiday in gran canaria. No.alcohol and no water sports but it's worth it. It won't feel real until I feel.pregnant or start showing. I have a 10 year old amd 8 year old already from first husband I just can't wait to feel pregnant and so exciting for my partner as this will be his forst if it all goes well.

KittyFantastica · 24/05/2024 13:02

Congratulations @Racket81! It doesn't get more real than that!

Hey @Noisinmaro good to hear from you. You are absolutely right, it is a total head messer all this TTC. Even if you're not usually an emotional person, it's very difficult not to invest or think of the what ifs once you see that line. I've been there twice now and no matter how hard I tried to detach, I was still devastated. I highly recommend the digitals too! I got pregnant last time using them and the OPKs in conjunction. They are so pricey though. Keeping all crossed for you.

Hiya @RW269 that must be so tough, at the same time trying to feel happy. Three of my friends announced their pregnancies the week I had my D&C and I kept thinking how out of the four of us I was that one, that statistic. I'm thrilled for them but it hurts still. We'll be here to cheer the sexathon 😂.

Glad to hear you and baby Olaf are doing okay despite the issues @ButterflySkies. I'm glad your work are being reasonable, that adds so much stress when you have to worry about consequences for things you really can't control.

I don't think this time has been accurate with the temping as it's been through my smart watch. I've bought a proper thermometer for next time, though according to my temps and the chart, it now thinks I actually did ovulate. None of the OPKs showed any kind of rise on that day though. I had a very, very slight rise to 0.5 on day 9 and a rise to 0.42 on day 13, but that's it really. Usually I'd have a blazing OPK around 10:30 - 11am, but not this time.

Hi all @ButterflySkies ,@KittyFantastica @RW269
Glad @ButterflySkies your ok, blood pressure issues are a pain, I get high blood pressure so I know can be very hard to stabilise it etc.....
I highly recommend the clear blue ovulation sticks the 4day one...very expensive but after 3 Packs I got pregnant, used this month again ( buying them nearly killed me) and I got my static smiley so I did ovulate.....yeah I just started again after my mis, im not in the habit of feeling sorry for myself, cause I had to draw a like under it and my head wasn't in a good place the crying I did was a surprise as I really don't do feeling sorry for myself, but after couple weeks I started to forget the pain and saddness it Hits me in Waves but I got a positive pregnancy test so I will again...so I have to move forward for my mental health if enough else....its messes with your mind all this ttc....

RW269 · 22/05/2024 20:48

@ButterflySkies glad to hear baby Olaf is fine and well! But sad to hear you’re having a time with your blood pressure! Have they got you a bit more stable with it? Glad work are being supportive!
sexathon is ago from today until about 30th haha! Plodding on, my SIL is due in about two/three weeks so I’m now fully surrounded with baby stuff everywhere it’s a killer, though don’t get me wrong I’m very excited for her haha! Xx

Thank you ladies!! Sorry for slow reply, ive been in and out of hospital this week... had a big scare again but baby olaf is doing really well! Just need to get me sorted out! My blood pressure is on the floor which is making me feel awful. But im being looked after and work are being amazing.

@KittyFantastica i never got on with temping... i found it so confusing, my charts looked like yours! I think it can take a little while lovely to settle, so go easy on yourself love.

@RW269 how was your break? How's the marathon going?

@Noisinmaro hope you're well too! Xx

RW269 · 22/05/2024 19:33

I’m still bobbing along here too :) wishing you two all the luck for this cycle! ❤️

OP posts:
Racket81 · 22/05/2024 15:47

@KittyFantastica it can take a whloe sometimes to het back to normal..as fornthe charts I've never done temping so i really have no idea on those. X good luck all crossed for you too. X

KittyFantastica · 22/05/2024 08:52

Hi @Racket81, I'm still here too. Crossing fingers, toes, eyeballs and bellybutton for you.

I've been temping with my smart watch this month just to see if I'm ovulating again now I'm testing negative, but I can't say I understand it. The temps all look ridiculously low to me and I'm pretty sure I'm not periodically hypothermic as the temps here suggest 😆 I did OPKs from day 8 as well and every single one has been negative, so I guess my body isn't back to normal yet. I've put my chart below in case anyone is good at interpreting.

Hi Ladies

I'm still hanging about but nothing to report. I'm due my period today so I guess it's wait and see but my guess is period on way. Trying not to think about it all.

KittyFantastica · 17/05/2024 09:43

Whoops, was messing around with user names for another thread I didn't end up using. Changed back now 😆.

BBTnewbie · 17/05/2024 09:41
