Just checking if anyone else around CD13 wants to join this thread? Was nice to have a group going last cycle.
I just entered my fertile window today. OPKs says I haven't ovulated yet but they're getting darker every day ☺️

@Applesandcake there was a study that showed that embryos that implant after 12dpo generally result in chemicals anyway, which is why I stop testing at 10dpo.
Ah I'm on my 7th cycle now. With my first it took 6 cycles, second was first cycle/accidental but was ectopic. Fingers cross for you it's positive.
I'm just trying g to keep busy, and not having any tests at home is helping ( I have some digitals but I know they won't test positive at this stage anyway)

@Applesandcake you're very similar to me.both thinking this month isn't the month and resting early then stopping. I also usually test 8-10 dpo then stop.

This month though I haven't bought any tests and I have non sensitives left. I'll see if it helps me feel any less disappointed when AF comes.

Yeah, I know some don’t get tests until 12dpo or even later, and if late implantation happens that would make sense, but given I’ve always had early positives, I just can’t imagine I wouldn’t again if I were pregnant!

Both desperate to test and dreading it to be honest. The sinking disappointment even last month was unpleasant and that was our 1st cycle trying!

I’m not feeling positive about this cycle. I know that means nothing, but what with not being able to dtd as much as I would have wanted and then having a really nasty virus from the day I got my peak and all over ovulation, I just don’t feel like my body will have sent the messages that this is a good time to get pregnant! I’m still fighting off the end of the virus now, so it just all seems extra unlikely.

3 more days and I will start testing every day until 11dpo… after that I stopped last month as I was wasting tests and with my first two had positives on 8 and 9dpo. I know each pregnancy is different but if it’s still negative at 10dpo, I begin to accept it’s over (and then happy to be proven wrong!)

@Applesandcake they actually have stopped selling FRER where I am. You can't buy them anywhere. Think it's because of how inaccurate they are 🤔. I just ordered two boots early tests tonight. Will take one at 9dpo and 10dpo I think 🤔 then I'll just use whatever easy @ home ones I have left from last cycle. Do easy @ home do early ones?

@JunkJane hopefully these are really positive signs.

Glad we're on this journey together 🥰

I’ve never used easy @ home before, but I had it in my mind that they come in either a 10mlu version (early) or a 25mlu version. I bought the 10mlu one.

You can’t buy them here in shops either anymore, only on Amazon/eBay etc.

5DPO for me today. I have also had twinges lower right side, but I also usually have random twinges so I won't ready too much into that. Definitely been super emotional and sensitive the last 24 hours which is unlike me. I love and hate how every pregnancy symptom is also not a pregnancy symptom 🤣

4 more days until test day ❤️

Bb542 · 23/01/2024 18:52

Exactly! Let's focus on getting ti Saturday rather than counting how many dpo we are. Great plan!

I'm telling myself I won't test on Saturday but I probably will 😂 although having said that, I don't have any early tests so will need to buy some. Have you got any early ones or are you using normal ones?

I have some early easy at home (10mlu) ones and some boots wary detection ones (10mlu).

I keep reading terrible reviews about how the FRER tests are no longer as sensitive as they say they are, so haven’t bothered with them this cycle. Which ones will you get?

Mum37of4 · 23/01/2024 21:44

@Bb542 - I actually don’t know as not sure when I ovulated, LH levels elevated on blood test last Monday and suffered cramping Tue and Wed which I think could have been ovulation 🤷‍♀️ - so maybe 6/7dpo possibly. I’m going to test Friday anyways and if BFN then will just wait and see if AF arrives.

Those symptoms sound promising @Applesandcake. Apart from bloating and some tiredness on Sunday, I feel totally normal, so not much symptom spotting going on here 🤣

We're 4DPO now so by the end of the working week we can start thinking about testing 😊

That’s what I keep saying, just get through the working week. Just focus on Saturday rather than focusing on how many dpo I am. I will test on Saturday at 8dpo. No point testing any sooner so it’s just a waste of money. Will you test on Saturday too now?

I’m finding it comparatively easier than over Christmas last month when I had time off work! Easier to at least have the routine if the day and work to distract.

Really hoping I am so I can explain away this GIANT spot which has just reared its head 🤣🤣 6 dpo for me and no other symptoms! Did a test this morning which was obviously negative, why did I bother 🤪

Oh I know, I've a few spots now too which are quite sore but my skin has been quite bad the last few months anyway so probably can't put it down to being pregnant.
Will you keep testing every day?

Hey, still too early for me to have BFP - but noticed my mood swings are awful atm! Deffo not AF as not due that for another 9 days! - but the thing is before I even knew I was pregnant with my youngest my EX husband knew I was by my mood!!

Oh really? That's really interesting. How many dpo are you?

How's everyone today? Any symptoms? 4DPO today, very very bloated 😭

I’m trying hard not read into symptoms but I have had a dull ache with occasional pinching feeling on the right side low down and occasionally on my back on the same side. I’m very hesitant to read into pains though as I do get a lot of tingly aches post ovulation for most of the two weeks. But I admit these are unusual pains and don’t feel like my normal ones. More like ligament paints at times.

6/7dpo is when symptoms begin to be more likely, so they feel like crunch days for me. Previously I haven’t had many symptoms at all when actually pregnant but one which was true both times is that my boobs became sore at 6dpo, when they don’t normally hurt at all.

I’m getting more impatient for testing! Keep thinking about it but also dreading the potential disappointment.

How is everyone feeling?

I’m 3dpo today and feel mildly less obsessed than last cycle. I mean, I’m still thinking about it lots and reading forums the whole time! BUT last month I was absolutely desperate to test already, couldn’t think about anything else, was just counting the seconds away. So that’s an improvement! And actually five days with work and the school run doesn’t feel long and then it’s Saturday and the dreaded testing starts.

Obviously too early for symptoms but I did have some slightly of CM yesterday.

I'm the same as you. Not as obsessed with testing this time around, probably because I'm so busy in work. I feel exhausted though and someone told me today I look really tired 😂 this time next week we'll be testing 😬

5dpo today.

I don't have high hopes for this cycle, due to illness we only dtd 2 days before and 5 days before ovulation. I'm out of tests and debating whether I actually want to buy more or whether to just wait and see if AF comes. I was so excited the first few cycles and now that I'm on cycle 7, I'm just feeling like it won't happen.

I'm ovulating today. Dtd yesterday and every other day the week before that. Have sharp cramps but that's not unusual for me.

Bb542 · 21/01/2024 11:31

I'm 2dpo today and going to try hold off testing until at least this day next week. I actually have cramping in my stomach today which is unusual for me 🤔

3DPO today and started my progesterone. How early is everyone planning on starting to test? I think I'll hold off until Saturday coming which would be my day 9. Historically I've got faint lines starting at 10DPO but I would like to have a control test to compare 😅 anyone else sometimes feel like a mad scientist with all this testing, tracking, and terminology? 😂

Ha! Yes!

I’m 2dpo and am going to test on Saturday also, 8dpo. Which for me is holding off compared to last month when I was tested ridiculously early!

I’m using boots early test which are not officially as sensitive as the frer as they are 10mlu, but I kept reading that the new frer’s are actually a lot less sensitive than they claim to be anymore.
