Just checking if anyone else around CD13 wants to join this thread? Was nice to have a group going last cycle.
I just entered my fertile window today. OPKs says I haven't ovulated yet but they're getting darker every day ☺️

@Applesandcake that how I'm feeling. Also 38 but I'm on cycle 7 now. First time was 6 months at 35 and second (ectopic)was accidental at 37.

I have one good ovary and one that keeps growing cysts and doesn't really ovulate anymore. I don't have a tube on the side of the good ovary since the ectopic. I've been told the other tube will pick eggs up from the good ovary but I'm not feeling convinced. I really just want to know it's possible. My gynae doesn't want to refer us for further tests until we've been trying a year as we've conceived twice before.

Applesandcake · 26/01/2024 10:37

7dpo and I tested! Only a cheapy to curb my urge to waste a proper one. Obviously negative. The weekend and Monday are the big ones. Very nervous. I can notice symptoms but they can be explained by other things and not unique to this month.

I just really want it be pregnant! And practically this month would work very well for work and life commitments.

If someone could just say you’ll definitively be pregnant within 6 cycles, I could relax but there is always that slight worry in the back of what if I can’t have another? Which is irrational as it’s cycle 2 and I’ve conceived three times before easily, but I’m 38 and still breastfeeding and you never know!

Bb542 · 25/01/2024 23:12

You've plenty @Applesandcake !! Way more than I have. I must order more. I've two boots ones and a few cheapies.

Haha @Applesandcake you have plenty! I have 3 digitals too but I know they won't show pregnant til much later, also they are left over from my first pregnancy 2.5 years ago.

I bought wondfos this time as I've stopped trusting easy@home as I kept getting a second line after the timeframe. The issue with testing this early is I keep looking at the test thinking I'm seeing a line but I'm not.

@Pololol congrats!

You're giving me some hope, I'm feeling rather nauseous tonight (in both my pregnancies I had evening sickness rather than morning!) though they didn't start until 8weeks and 5 weeks, and I'm only 8dpo right now but who knows...

I've been telling myself it can't be a sign of anything this early on.

Trying not to symptom spot but it's given me a reason to pee on a stick tonight. Really trying not to get my hopes up!

Thank you so much!
I succumbed and did my digital test this evening which was a BFP, so I’m delighted.
Me and my partner are a bit in shock as we thought it might take a few months, but so excited too!
I am wishing all the positive vibes for you all 💕💕

Every day is now agonising waiting to tests! 6dpo today. I know myself and I’m going to end up testing on a cheapy tomorrow just to curve the urge. I won’t use a more expensive test though as that’s really just throwing money away.

I’ve ended up ordering some FRER off Amazon despite saying I don’t trust them anymore! So by tomorrow when they arrive I will have 18 easy@home tests, 3 boots early tests, 2 FRER and a digital!! Enough do you think?!

I feel sick this evening also, which is interesting, but like you Confusedddddd I didn’t have sickness until 6 and 7 weeks with my first two (and then oh my god, I had it horrendously), so can’t really think that’s a sign. More likely I hadn’t eaten enough before taking my vitamins!

Bb542 · 25/01/2024 21:44

How's everyone this evening? I'm a bit worried because I don't have many symptoms and went for a run this evening and felt fine. Was nearly hoping I'd feel tired 😂

I've also started to get the urge to test... 7dpo tomorrow but trying to wait until at least Saturday 😭

Morning ladies, how is everyone doing? So I tested this morning as I have woken up slightly nauseous the last 2 mornings (plus have had very tender breasts for a few days). It seems like it should be too early for a positive test as my Natural Cycles is telling me that I ovulated between a week and 5 days ago. Am I just seeing things or do you see a positive line on this? Tested twice as I didn’t believe the first one! The top one is about 15 mins old, so not reliable, but the line I see appeared within about 2 or 3 and got darker after it evaporated. Ahhhhhhh - input on how early it is would be very appreciated to see if I can trust the result!

Congratulations @Pololol ! They look very positive. I'd say you're about 11-13dpo with tests like those 🥰
@Applesandcake hope you're feeling better now but I think a migraine is a good sign! Only two more days until we can test 🤞🏼

@Pololol ahh imagine! That would be amazing. Keep us posted on how the line progresses ☺️

I’d secretly love twins - although I already have a 2yo -so I think my husband would have a breakdown 🤣

JunkJane · 25/01/2024 14:31

@Pololol I'd say that's a positive! Congratulations!

Pololol · 25/01/2024 11:51

@Applesandcake thank you! Trying not to run away with myself too much and will take a digital at the weekend to share with my partner if that’s showing as positive!

Pololol · 25/01/2024 11:49

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 11:20

@Pololol I used LH and natural cycles at the time of my first pregnancy, never had a LH ‘high’ either and apparently managed to conceive 7 days before supposed ovulation - you never know what your body is actually up to 😄 congratulations!

This makes me feel reassured that it’s not just a false positive!
I have just been wondering to myself whether it could be that I did ovulate when I thought but it’s twins.. as I’ve heard about higher HCG levels for that. My dad is a fraternal twin, so there is a small possibility 🫣.
Im trying to keep the excitement at bay and plan to take a digital test on Saturday to share with my partner as he will be more excited by that than the 2 lines I’ve been hoping for my whole life!

Definitively two positives! Congratulations! You must be more than 7dpo to get tests like that. I would guess at least 10dpo. If you did ovulate cycle day 13 or 14, you’d be 12/13dpo, which makes more sense in terms of those results.

Pololol · 25/01/2024 11:11

@robinmarl glad it’s not just me!
yes that was 3 mins after taking it. I’m cycle day 26. Possibly I did, but I was taking LH tests twice a day and never got a positive the whole time..! Although on CD 13 my LH test did have a line but it wasn’t strong enough to count as a positive. My basal body temp tracking data led Natural Cycles to estimate my ovulation date on cycle day 18-21.

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 10:56

@Pololol That looks positive to me! I can also see a faint line on the second one, is that within the time frame? Maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought…? What cycle day are you on?

Pololol · 25/01/2024 10:50

@Applesandcake Have my fingers crossed for you that the migraine is good news. Have never had one but can only imagine it’s awful, headaches are bad enough!!

Applesandcake · 25/01/2024 10:19

6dpo, woke with a migraine which could be a good sign as mine are linked to hormones, so could be hormones up and down. However, I can’t help see it as a bad sign as I normally get them when my progesterone dips, which if I wasn’t pregnant it would be around now that it would begin to dip.

One boob hurts! And I felt a bit sick this morning but that most likely is because I had a migraine.

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 09:20

TBH january is the worst month to be enduring tww!

@Confusedddddddd i have also done the same having said to myself that I was going to take it easy this month ha.

Got a negative on an easy @ home strip this morning (obviously - only 8dpo!) With my first, I only got a faint negative after my period was 2 days late so I don’t know what I am expecting!!

Confusedddddddd · 24/01/2024 23:03

Well I've been feeling super crampy and twinges today, I've had this in the past, and it's not really meant anything, but who knows?

Of course after saying I wasn't going to order any sensitive tests, I have. Partly because I've had a shit week and I want some wine tommorow so will make sure I'm not pregnant first :).

JunkJane · 24/01/2024 16:27

Lots of clouds in this thread today. Come on ladies, we're all still in this. Happy thoughts. We got this! Lol that's my best cheerleader impersonation 😅

Saying all that I've had a sinus infection for about 4 weeks now and just have been feeling overall run down all winter. It'll be a wonderful pick me up if that test line appears.

Bb542 · 24/01/2024 14:18

5dpo today, having some weird twinges on the left side of my stomach. I never get ovulation or period pain so I don't know if this is something totally unrelated. Also very thirsty today and have a bit of a headache, which is weird, because I'm drinking so much water. These probably have nothing to do with pregnancy but it's very hard not to symptom spot 🤣

@Applesandcake there was a study that showed that embryos that implant after 12dpo generally result in chemicals anyway, which is why I stop testing at 10dpo.
Ah I'm on my 7th cycle now. With my first it took 6 cycles, second was first cycle/accidental but was ectopic. Fingers cross for you it's positive.
I'm just trying g to keep busy, and not having any tests at home is helping ( I have some digitals but I know they won't test positive at this stage anyway)

That makes so much sense. I was going to say that the only exception to my getting early results was when I had an unplanned pregnancy last spring. I didn’t get a test until about day 13 or 14 dpo. It ended in an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. I always have wondered if the fact I didn’t get an early test was linked (I’d been testing early as although unplanned I knew there was a chance, as we’d dtd what I thought was 7 days before O, but then I showed signs of ovulating 2 days early)
