Anyone tested this morning??
I'm 8dpo and trying to resist the urge to test. I have tender nipples and this empty rumbling feeling like I'm really hungry and need to eat but I had toast for breakfast. Prob just pms. Really want to wait see if AF arrives as keep wasting mo ey on tests.
Had my first accupunture yesterday and was really relaxing and although I'm 42 the lady said that from all the menstrual info I gave her I dhould have just as much chance as anyone else of getting pregnant again. She was trying to flush my body and interestingly said I have more reaction to tje needles on left side of my body which is interesting becuase I believe both my boys were conceived from left ovary.

Racket81 · 19/01/2024 09:54

@Mum37of4 I would say that ovulation but can't be sure. Have you used opks?

Mum37of4 · 18/01/2024 23:14

Heyy, newbie here, so me and bf not actively trying but also not preventing. Im in day 16 of cycle, DTD sat eve (13th), been cramping but more in the lower back with constipation like I usually get a day or two before AF.
not due AF until around 2nd Feb! Do you think this is Ovulation pain and would chances still be high of pregnancy from DTD Sat eve? BTW don’t usually have this cramping at ovulation but had it now past 3 days. CM was thin stretchy around the weekend then went to just clear and watery now it’s more cloudy thicker but I don’t get much of it anyways so it’s minimal.

Bex4567 · 18/01/2024 21:55

I'm currently 7dpo and the only symptoms I notice is really sore boobs..normally from ovulation to af there sore but nothing like this ...one inparticilur is very sore more than normal I'm hoping that is a good sign

mumto1girlie · 18/01/2024 19:37

@Sct13 ive no experience with them but surely 3 tests wouldn’t read wrong!
maybe test with one of the boots/clearblue first thing in the morning! it could just be that they haven’t been as sensitive as the first 3 you tried which is why it’s not shown yet! i did a tesco and it was faint, i did a clearblue the next day and it didn’t show at all! it wasn’t until i did the boots and then a clearblue digital that it showed properly! xx

holly12388 · 18/01/2024 17:08

@iwasgonnasay I end up prodding mine so much like 'are you soreeeee???!' They end up being sore 😅 what're we like.
I say take a test Saturday eve or Sunday FMU if af no show.. I have a feeeling for youuuu!

iwasgonnasay · 18/01/2024 16:41

@holly12388 it was a Morrisons one - should have waited for FMU but you can't help but think if you're having "symptoms" and it's 2 days away you'd SURELY get something on one by now! 😩
@Sct13 I don't have any experience on them but I would be very surprised if 3 were wrong?! Were your boots etc ones afternoon and the premom FMUs?
I feel crampy again but my BBs burning - probably because I keep feeling them to see if they're still sore, of course they are! 🤪🤪

Sct13 · 18/01/2024 16:34

Hey, can I join you all?
Does any rate premom branded tests? I had faint lines on them for 3 days (from 9dpo), and a positive this morning at 12dpo. I went out and bought some Clear Blue and Boots own tests and all negative. I know levels can be lower in the afternoon but there's not even a hint of line. Obviously I'll test again in the morning but I'm thinking the premom tests were faulty...

holly12388 · 18/01/2024 16:08

Giirrrlllll I feel you! @iwasgonnasay
What test did you use?
BUTTT you know you're not out till the witch arrives. You still have time x

iwasgonnasay · 18/01/2024 14:58

And I can talk the talk but apparently I can't walk. Just tested and blank as anything BFN. Due on Saturday so really should take that as my cue to leave and wish everyone else the luck 💫🌟🤞🏻

holly12388 · 18/01/2024 13:17

@Linalou12 I did opk's for 2 months but jsut found it to add more pressure if I'm honest.

I think I'm going to start monitoring temp & see how that goes. The more info the better I guess.

Oh gosh the tww really does drag doesn't it.
It's strange I was saying to a friend just recently that although when af has shown up it's heartbreaking but it does feel good not to symptom spot for a few days if that makes sense 😂

I'm hoping to see a few more BFP in this thread ladies! 🌟🌟🌟 baby dust to everrryyyooonnnneeeee x

iwasgonnasay · 18/01/2024 13:14

@TheFamousMrEd you can hope no news is good news!
If only there was ONE universal clue before missing AF!
Pretty sure with my DS, the month I had the least "symptoms" was the month I got my BFP

Linalou12 · 18/01/2024 13:12

Welcome @Pinkmoon23 - I’m a similar DPO to you and also having similar problems deciphering my charts! I’d say it was definitely either CD11 or CD12 for you and it seems like you’ve timed DTD well for either of those! Fingers crossed for you!

@holly12388 this cycle was my first using opks and temping. I have found it really reassuring that I definitely ovulated but otherwise didn’t do much different to other months - we’d still be dtd around when I had ewcm and ovulation pain. What did surprise me is that I probably ovulate after the cramps so need to keep dtd later than I thought. Tbh I might not use them again next month but could be worth trying for one month just to see how your chart matches your symptoms?

iwasgonnasay · 18/01/2024 12:33

@holly12388 thank you, let's see what Saturday brings! I think it's pretty common for both of you to feel like that when TTC. You both feel it at different times for different reasons. Men often during sex, women often in the days post when they're trying to will the sperm and egg to meet (plus IF that happens, the 9 months after of doing everything you can to "protect" it)
I think we all struggle not to track to some degree. If it's a first baby or you've been TTC for a long time / have experienced loss or fertility issues I think it helps you to feel in control. If not, then a more relaxed monitoring is just as helpful.

siobhanmt247 · 18/01/2024 12:32

@MrsRandallFraser if you upload that last one again does it still say high? A high reading is promising :) it might just be too early for signs.

TheFamousMrEd · 18/01/2024 11:50

Any symptoms I thought I had have disappeared.

the only thing that’s unusual now is that I still haven’t had any spotting and I usually get it 3-4 days before I’m due, and still nothing.

It’s so hard to wait for Saturday!

🤞for everyone.

MrsP20202 · 18/01/2024 11:41

@holly12388 my hubby feels the pressure to the point he sometimes just can’t get it up he says it takes the fun out of doing it then he feels pressured to perform 😂 I completely get you with the pressure side of things using opks

@siobhanmt247was due on today and nothing no signs of her coming not even pregnancy signs, this is my opk from today I’m still holding off testing after a bfn the other day but I’ll do another opk tomorrow what are your thoughts?

Anyone in TWW? Or TTC in January 2024?
Pinkmoon23 · 18/01/2024 10:46

Hi everyone I've been silently following this post, congratulations to the BFP's and fingers crossed for more 🥰🤞

I'm 4dpo and we've been trying since April 2023 (with early miscarriage in June and then took 3 months out). I'm 35 with thyroid issues and finding it hard to stay hopeful each month.

I was wondering if anyone could help me, my chart is confusing me this month. I usually always ovulate on CD14. We had planned to do the sperm meets egg plan this month, which suggests starting BD'ing on CD 8. But this month I got ewcm on CD9 and CD10. And hugely increased sex drive, a lot of ewcm on CD 11, along with a high opk in the morning. I didn't manage to catch the peak on an opk though and then my temperature went up CD12. It went up from 36.33 to 36.50 and then the next day back down to 36.45. So I'm a bit confused. Fertility friend has my ovulation date as CD11 from my temps and premom has it CD12 from my opk... I'll post pictures of both charts! We bd'd on CD9, 11, and 12 so really hope that we didn't miss it...

So I'm confused if I ovulated CD11 or CD12? Or maybe in the middle of the night between the two?

Anyway, here's my chart... Any advice would be so so helpful and appreciated , thank you in advance if any of that made sense 😅

@holly12388 it's all fun and games 🫣have you had no "new" symptoms or not even your usual AF signs? My BBs were ginormous hard, swollen and sore from early in the month. Usually only a bit tender week of AF. Spells of Lightheaded / dizzy, quite dry mouth /thirsty. Feel quite thick in my belly? Normally my belly is gurgly and noisy a lot and I get wind feelings a lot but it's like it's permanently full and dull. And almost NO CM at all - seems like the opposite of what it should be!
I haven't tested and won't until Saturday if nothing then as AF is usually spot on (like midnight day of spot on) lol SO tempting when I have 2 tests sat here but if I can't do FMU I'll only tell myself that's why it's a BFN and be in the same boat I'm in now lol
Baby dust to all 🌟 💫 xx

I mean all your symptoms sound super promising?! Everything's crossed for you af doesn't show, I'll be thinking about you all day Saturday 🙂

I'm not overly emotional - like usual pms, which I'm not mad about 😂
I've been poorly with strep/tonsillitis so that may have hidden some symptoms.. hope so anyway!

xxx

holly12388 · 18/01/2024 10:36

I do have a question for everyone though,

I've used opk's in the past but the pressure of dtd somewhat imminently kinda throws a curve ball for me if that makes sense.

So I've not really used them the last couple of months but I'm wondering if I am realllllyyyy affecting my chances of successful conception because I'm not exactly 'tracking' if that makes sense.

I do experience obvious ewcm & ovulation pain so I'm assuming I'm doing what needs to be done when it's needed to 😂

I'm thinking about starting bbt, but wondering if the pressure is still there..

Just wanted your guys opinion x

holly12388 · 18/01/2024 09:50

Hi @iwasgonnasay!
Honesty, still the same for me.. have the usual af cramps, I've not tested since Wednesday (10dpo) and I don't think I will until Sunday eve if the witch still hasn't arrived.
Honestly I've got no symptoms so feel like im out and pretty bummed out about it.

How're you feeling? Any symptoms? Are you going to wait till Saturday to test or until you're late?

Baby dust to everyone!!!! Xx

iwasgonnasay · 18/01/2024 09:23

@holly12388 how are you feeling? Still like AF is coming Sunday? Or any changes?
I've spent the week telling myself to ignore the things that I keep spotting and treat them as usual Af symptoms but I don't think I convinced myself. I feel ragey sad and crampy sicky today and it's due Saturday so that's made me far more aware that it really is just AF coming

Linalou12 · 18/01/2024 08:32

@Racket81 oh I’d not heard of that one, thanks for suggesting- I will take a look!

Oh half way through for you, hope the 2nd half goes quickly. I just keep reminding myself you only need one good egg! Gotta have the patience of a saint in this ttc game!

So sorry for your loss xx

Racket81 · 17/01/2024 19:25

Welcome @Linalou12 I am currently 7dpo no symptoms. I know when I ovulate as I use the clear blue fertility monitor. Expensive but worth it although I'm not pregnant yet. Had 1 pregnacy but resulted in MC in July 2023. I'm 4w.though so is taking much longer and dint know if I'm just too old now as I prob produce less good eggs.
