@Mumto1w first of all congratulations! Tbh this conversation is something you need to have with your partner/ doctor if you don’t feel in a good place to be pregnant but if your not in a good headspace sue to worrying with thyroid I’m sure you can have a healthy happy pregnancy but have that conversation with your doctor

second thing alcohol…don’t worry about that haha ! I swear when I conceived with my first I was drunk for a whole two weeks as I conceived on holiday and she’s a healthy happy 3 year old now, as long as you don’t drink now everything should be okay :)

@Linalou12 I haven’t tested as I feel like AF is about to arrive and I don’t want to waste a test!

If nothing happens tomorrow I’ll do a test Tuesday morning.

Hello, I really just need any advice that anyone can give to me, I feel like I am in an impossible situation.
I have had 3 miscarriages and after I have been seen by a fantastic GP and the recurrent miscarriage clinic, have been prescribed medication for hypothyroidism.
I have been really positive about the diagnosis and treatment plan, with the aim to get my thyroid levels to the ideal level and then ttc.
Because I had accepted this situation, and the fact hat I have a few months, I have been enjoying a couple of months of just living life, with no pressure.
I have only just started my meds, and am expecting them to be working in the next 2/3 months.
Me and my partner have, when we have been intimate, been careful.
So I expected to start my period last week, but after my last miscarriage in October, haven’t been worried because my cycle has been very strange.
After a bout of strange moods and tiredness last week, tested yesterday, only to get a positive.
I should be elated, but I am not, because

1. my thyroid isn’t where it needs to be
2. With bdays, work conferences away etc, I feel as though I’ve been drinking more than ever this last month, with a lot of alcohol on Wednesday, 3 days before my positive test. My worry is that I could also be further along than just the 4 weeks, it could be 5/6. I now feel riddled with guilt because of the alcohol and not being where I wanted to be with my TSH. I don’t know whether I should continue, or end this pregnancy, as this next time was our last try, and I wanted to give it the absolute best chance. Scared, gutted and driving myself crazy.

How is everyone doing? I’m only 6DPO and it’s definitely feeling like the longest month out of the 4 we’ve been trying so far! Had my in-laws staying this weekend and it’s been quite stressful, I feel quite a angsty/hormonal like I usually do right before AF but I think it’s just from the visit. Can’t be helpful for implantation tho, I’m trying to calm down!

Hello 😊 Can I join? Going back to rtft in a mo. We tried earlier this month in last cycle and had weird experience where I got spotting (never had before) and then AF came a week and a half early.

This would be DC3. Not sure how it’ll go as
DS took us just over a year to conceive, whereas DD happened on the first try.

Well, I thought AF was here yesterday, but it was just a tiny bit of spotting. Not sure what’s going on!

My cycle is usually 25-26 days and today is day 26 so we’ll see 🤷‍♀️

BFN for me 2 days late on period so I’m counting myself out this month

@holly12388 with you there ! I’m having classic af signs now but was due on 2 days ago and nothing, ordered some tests from amazing last night so will be testing today 🤞🏽 If it’s a bfn then I know I’m out and the witch is on its way 🫣

I also was goimg through a very stressful situation when I had my loss so yes could all be connected

Have all classic AF symptoms of crampy period pains a few days before she shows her head..
really wanting to do a test but I just know it'll be bfn and it's gunna break my heart. Due on Sunday.. so I guess I should jsut wait it out.

@Racket81 - it was very scary, however at the time I was also going through a very stressful situation and I think that may have contributed to the loss. @Linalou12 - I guess I will find out next Friday when i do a test 😊

@Racket81 - well me and OH aren’t actually TTC, however both said if it happens it happens. We don’t want to actively start until next year after he has completed his teaching masters degree. Also I’m scared as I miscarried at 10wks in 2019 and had emergency surgery due to hemorraging.

@Racket81 - hey, no don’t use OPK but had bloods done Monday to check my hormone levels and progesterone was 0.74, FSH was 5.1 and LH was 10.5 - so im guessing Id have been not far off peak for Ovulation around then maybe a few days after. I think the chances are as good as any given sperm can live up to 5 days. 🤦‍♀️
