Mum37of4 · 25/01/2024 09:23

@Linalou12 - bfn for me but probs just too early tbh as I’m not even 100% sure when I ovulated. Will try again over weekend.

Racket81 · 25/01/2024 08:22

AF arrived rhus morning so I'm pit this month.

Linalou12 · 25/01/2024 08:21

A but gutted this morning. Im tracking temps and had a small bbt yesterday morning (9dpo) and a much bigger dip this morning (10dpo) so looks like I’m in for AF earlier than expected this cycle :( I know I’m not out til AF but feeling disappointed

Good luck if you test @Mum37of4 ! Fingers crossed for you!

Mum37of4 · 24/01/2024 22:48

@Linalou12 - I’m also about 9/10dpo (I think) 🤔- I never get sore boobs even before AF but mine are sore 😭😭 and I’m so emotional one min tearful over a cute cat and then sniping at the kids cos they are doing my head in 🤦‍♀️ - might do a test tomos morning.

Feelinghappy19 · 24/01/2024 19:23

Af came today so I’m out, fingers crossed for you all!

Linalou12 · 24/01/2024 15:06

I’m 9dpo today and feeling very cranky and sore boobs but hard to know if I’m reading too much into it! Will also join you both testing at the weekend (if I can hold out til then!)

ChaosAndCrumbs · 24/01/2024 09:09

@Racket81 and @Feelinghappy19, hoping you both get positives at the weekend ❤️

Feelinghappy19 · 24/01/2024 07:26

I’m doing the same @Racket81 good luck :)

ChaosAndCrumbs · 24/01/2024 07:20

Crossing my fingers for everyone in TWW.

We’re trying daily (still at flashing face on clearblue).

Racket81 · 24/01/2024 06:40

I'm 13dpo today cday 32 2 days late now will wait till weekend and test as sure AF will arrive.

Mum37of4 · 24/01/2024 00:27

TMI but is anybody having very wet CM but with a white tinge (it stains knickers like white once dried) - I’m going to have to start wearing pantyliner soon because it’s so uncomfortable feeling like I’ve peed a little all the time 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Feelinghappy19 · 23/01/2024 22:06

Hi ladies 👋I’m 11 dpo and can’t bring myself to test as that takes away all hope when I get my bfn! Fingers crossed for bfp for you all this month!

TrainIsMoving · 23/01/2024 08:26

I'm ovulating today, really strong opks (control/treatment looked same yesterday, not quite same, but nearly) and I think I ovulate the same day but we dtd 2 days in a row, yesterday and day before. That should be enough right?

MrsP20202 · 22/01/2024 22:56

@TheFamousMrEd @TrainIsMoving im due to ovulate in 10 days also 🙏🤞🏽 Fingers crossed for us this month

maybemumtobe · 22/01/2024 19:44

Hi everyone. Have been reading through your messages over the past few days. Thanks for being so open. I’m in tww. Trying to conceive no.2. I was pregnant before Xmas but that ended at 5w. Very early but still sad. Anyway I’m roughly 9dpo and had some spotting - absolutely tiny, could just see a tinge of pink when I wiped (sorry). Anyway I’ve NEVER in my life had spotting before a period so I’m really hoping it might be implantation bleeding? I have back cramps. I guess time will tell if it’s AF or BFP! I’ll keep you posted… good luck everyone still waiting x

Kezz301 · 22/01/2024 08:16

Took an early results test this morning, still negative so counting myself out until f shows. Assume as stopped pill in Nkvember cycles must be still a bit out of whack so that's why it's late. Disappointed and had a tough month so was hoping for a little good news but maybe next month.

Good luck to those still waiting for bfps and congrats to those bfps😊

ChaosAndCrumbs · 22/01/2024 07:35

@Mumto1w, that’s a tricky situation. Personally, I’d lean towards keeping it and go for the early scan. I had one with my first due to miscarriage history and it was a lovely feeling seeing that little heartbeat. With alcohol in pregnancy, it’s recommended for no alcohol at all at any point - however, its very common for women to not know prior to a positive test and is unlikely at that point to do a huge amount as the exposure is assumed to be much less. It is associated with miscarriage, but not drinking from this point would lessen that risk. It’s a hard one to study because you can’t separate it from other factors eg. Environmental factors, parental health factors, the fact much of the evidence is self-reported. Lots of people assume heavy drinking throughout pregnancy can cause Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, but actually any amount of alcohol (after a positive test at around 4 weeks) is a risk factor for neurological changes in the baby’s development and FAS is a spectrum - it essentially depends what stage the baby is at when the mum drinks. It’s only just becoming understood (there’s only one centre that is equipped to diagnose older children in the UK, even though the majority have no facial feature effects), but essentially, most doctors would see alcohol consumption prior to an early positive as much lower risk for foetal development but carrying some miscarriage risk, and anything after this as foetal development risk. A large number of women drink before they know, because they couldn’t have known before, so making positive changes from that point is the important part 😊

@TheFamousMrEd Sorry to hear AF came, fingers crossed for the next cycle!

@TrainIsMoving, We’re trying now, as I’m at the flashing clearblue face stage. 🤞I’d forgotten how long the TWW feels! Was a surprise last cycle when time seemed to drag and I felt so disappointed when AF came. Premom is expecting me to ovulate on the 25th, but we’ll see what happens 🙈

TheFamousMrEd · 22/01/2024 06:04

Woken up this morning to heavy AF. Onwards and upwards to Feb!

@TrainIsMoving I’m not due to ovulate for another 10 days so so not in sync with you, but happy to keep the thread going!

TrainIsMoving · 21/01/2024 22:47

@PenguinOnTheMoon sorry to hear that, we also had COVID in December. I wasn't hopeful then and I'm still not hopeful this coming cycle, but surely any side effects must be getting smaller and smaller.

TrainIsMoving · 21/01/2024 22:45

@Mumto1w I wouldn't end pregnancy now, trust your body will do what it can. You can reach out to early pregnancy unit and get sign up for early scan at week 5/6 and maybe even progesterone given the history. It is just my opinion that you may regret not giving it a chance. I've been through 3 MCs last year, so I do know how stressful and anxious this period can be but the fact that you're taking the medicine is good and alcohol shouldn't cause mc. I've had alcohol for my first successful pregnancy right up until I found out I was pregnant on dpo 12. Even now I will still have a glass of wine on odd days despite my history, as I don't want to stop living life. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Mum37of4 · 21/01/2024 22:40

@PenguinOnTheMoon - sorry to hear this, good luck for next month x

TrainIsMoving · 21/01/2024 22:39

Are we keeping this thread going forward? I'm back and think I may ovulate in the next day or two. Opks are a little higher but mine go up fast so will be tracking tomorrow more. Either way dtd today and may tomorrow/Tue afternoon and hope that covers it...
Is anyone near ovulation and want to keep company as cycle buddies?

PenguinOnTheMoon · 21/01/2024 21:05

Sadly I'm now officially out...5 days late gave me a little hope, but now on to February, hopefully without COVID messing up my cycle this time. Good luck to everyone still left on the thread.

Linalou12 · 21/01/2024 20:52

@Mumto1w sorry to hear of your losses, it sounds like you have been through a lot! I’d echo @MrsP20202 and say speak to your dr. It might be that there’s some way they can better support you through this pregnancy now they know about your hypothyroidism.

Also on the alcohol, i know a few people who didn’t plan their children so drank in early pregnancy unknowingly! My friend found out she was expecting when on a wine tasting holiday!! And her baby is perfectly healthy 😊
