I’m 8dpo going to test in the morning 🤞🏽

Daisychain27 · 11/01/2024 17:30

@Ella31 try not to worry, I’m sure you’ll
be fine! I’m a spotter too, before AF, after, in the middle, lol. There are so many stories of people on here successfully conceiving regardless. Like others have said, your body is just still adjusting. You’ll be okay 😊

RW269 · 11/01/2024 16:24

I’m 9 dpo, bfn this morning but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
hoping to hear good news from you all! ✨

Sarah452 · 11/01/2024 16:15

Sorry to hear this! Fingers crossed for next cycle - I think I’ll be with you on the next chat next month!

Bey · 11/01/2024 16:12

I got AF today so I'm out this cycle. Good look everyone who's not tested yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sarah452 · 11/01/2024 16:11

7dpo, and I tested this morning knowing full well it would be negative! Well done for holding out. Also been cramping since OV but now thinking my period is probably on its way. The only symptom I had with my first early on was sore boobs on the sides by my armpit and no sign of that!

Ella31 · 11/01/2024 15:46

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 11/01/2024 15:35

Just trying to catch up on this thread! What DPO is everyone? When is everyone testing?

I am 10dpo and think I'm going to test in the morning. Had constant cramps since ovulation and started getting some nausea other symptoms. Fingers crossed I'm not making them all up in my head 😫

Fingers crossed. Fair play for holding out. It looks like I'm ovulating very soon after my period, cervical mucus and flashing smiley today.

@Ella31 don't worry that's all completely normal, it took my periods a few months to get back to normal PP with DS1!

@Ella31 I think it’s quite common after pregnancy for the body to take a few cycles to get back in to its rhythm (certainly this was the case for some of my friends) 9 weeks pp is still very early - maybe speak to a doctor to see when they would expect cycles to regulate? Try not to panic, pregnancy is such a toll on the body and the hormones it will just be regulating itself im sure!

Ella31 · 11/01/2024 12:43

I'm really struggling this week and I was doing really well up to this. Im 9 weeks postpartum - emergency section. First period came back last Thurs and ended Monday but had light pink discharge yesterday. And now thinking the worst that my system is messed up or I won't be able to conceive again in the future. I'm in bits.

@Kofifi that is definitely a line!! And congrats to @siobhanmt247 too 🥰

Thanks so much @Ella31 and @Sarah452 for your comments on luteal phase length, really appreciate you sharing your stories! So comforting to hear of people who have conceived with similar phase lengths. Google is so unhelpful as it’s full of websites saying that phases below 12,11,10 DPO etc are “worrying” but clearly it’s absolutely fine! I’m still a bit worried about the amount of spotting I seem to have in the run up to AF (can be anything from 1-6/7 days!) but my BBT seems to be staying up throughout, so I’m feeling far more positive now :)

I hope you don’t mind me staying on this thread, my O day is predicted to be end of January so I’m still technically TTC this month 🙊

Baby dust to everyone! 🥰

@Daisychain27 glad you are staying, so am I and hopefully next month is our month.

I'm having a rough day today. I've light pink spotting yesterday 4 days after my period, 9 weeks postpartum, worried there's something wrong with me. The other part of me is saying this anxiety from my loss.

Hello! Jumping in on the hype here ☺️ 1st month TTC (first time!) this waiting game is sooo difficult! 6 days before due on.. when are you all holding off until to test? I’ve taken one this morning and negative but hoping for the best! Wishing you all lots of luck! ✨

Ella31 · 10/01/2024 18:31

Ladies back again for advise, so now I've started spotting pinkish blood.

So quick recap. Had emergency section 9 weeks ago. Opk's said I ovulated on the 26th December, dtd but got my period last Thursday, bleeding stopped 3 days ago, got a flashing smiley on clearblue opk yesterday and then today I start spotting pink blood and I've cramps. I'm so confused. Took a pregnancy test and of course its blank but I've no idea what's going on.

Sarah452 · 10/01/2024 17:40

@Daisychain27 i wanted to come back to you on the short luteal phase. So I was OPK this month and confirmed ovulation (also by lots of EWCM) on 3rd/4th Jan, my period is due 11th Jan.. so basically a 7/8 day luteal.

i went back and looked at when I was pregnant before, baby was a surprise however I’ve got the dates of when we dtd from an old WhatsApp (was messaging OH at the time we found out trying to work out when we conceived 😂) I also had a dating scan done when I thought I was 6 weeks pregnant but they dated me at 4 weeks 4 days. Long and short when I cross reference the two I must have conceived around the 3/4rd of the month (weirdly pre pregnancy my period always came on the 11th too) so that basically works out as a 7/8 day luteal. She’s now almost 2 😂

Sarah452 · 10/01/2024 17:34

@DaisyJones6 I’m so sorry 😟

@MrsP20202 i had zero symptoms with my first, even went to a health check a few days before I found I was pregnant and when they asked if there was any chance I could be pregnant I said no 🤦‍♀️

Kofifi · 10/01/2024 09:22

I'm sorry @DaisyJones6 , the body is so cruel to us.

I managed to find an old cheapy test yesterday and got another positive. Then took another frer this morning and although there is a line, if anything its lighter than yesterday. Don't know if i should be worrying.

@Kofifi i wouldn’t worry about the line being lighter right now, maybe test in a day or two? its so hard isn’t it cus we test and get our positives and then put ourselves thru more worry for continuing to test! x

mumto1girlie · 10/01/2024 10:54

@DaisyJones6 im so sorry it didn’t happen for you this month! our bodies can be so cruel playing tricks on us! fingers crossed it happens soon xx

Puddingpie1234 · 10/01/2024 09:50

Sorry to hear this @DaisyJones6 😢

mumto1girlie · 10/01/2024 09:33

@siobhanmt247 congrats! if it helps i did my digital at 17dpo so the day after i got my positive! and it come up xx

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 10/01/2024 09:27

@DaisyJones6 so sorry to hear 😢 Why does AF always wait until the moment you've peed on the stick?!

Gave in a did a test 13dpo. I was busy getting kids ready while hiding a test in the bathroom 🤫 Just a cheapie so 5mins wait time, checked after 4 and thought I might see the faintest of lines told myself it line eyes and binned it. Couldn't help myself checked it again and there is a clear obvious line but it was more like 7mins past.
I know the answer is retest tomorrow and just bloody wait with it but what do you all think ? I know you should read it after the allocated time but do they mean the exact and nothing over ?

Kicking myself for not putting a timer on so I felt more sure either way 🙃

I can’t believe all of these bfp’s!!! So wonderful to see, it really is!!

@Ella31 If your period was longer then I’m guessing it could be about right that your beginning your fertile phase?

I started feeling nauseous yesterday, not throw up nausea, but pregnancy type just lingering. Convinced myself I was pregnant all day, happily stripping wallpaper etc.

Got in the loo this morning complete with my little cup and test. Caught my pee, got the test out and popped it in said pee, put it aside and then got the loo paper and wiped - blood. CD1.

Why all of the symptoms? It’s just so cruel isn’t it.

This will have been our third cycle. I know that’s nothing really, but I have always caught soon before. I’m 43 now and maybe it’s just not going to happen again 😓

@DaisyJones6 keep the hope going. I had 3 bfn and a chemical cycles before I conceived my twins on the fifth.
